Missing the high drone shots of y'all being "posed" on the jobsite, with more crew it would def be a funnier still shot. Keep Up the Excellent Work fellas ! Love the educational videos.
Interresting system. I've used strip ease for 42 years but then we usually build on sloped lots with multi step foundations. Looks like the corners are just screwed together. RDK's?
AwesomeFramers. Does this leave a crack between the levels of form board with the ties laying between them? Also, are the bottom cleats mounted or free floating?
Singing Pink’s first hit song. Reciting Offspring lyrics to Noah. Hilarious. These apprentices must come from money because they have better rain gear then me.
I’m all for innovation saving time etc have a large shop into a hillside to form 10’ watched all your vids on this method but you seem to be only one not using whalers granted they haven’t blown but could you elaborate on your thinking why they can safely be liminated haw many how big you’ve done etc thanks
With 1 1/8", 11 ply plywood, why do you need them? Great economical system. I've used a lot of form systems, aluminum, steel ply and many different plywood and cam lock, all the Jahn brackets with loose whalers, and even plywood and 2x4 panels a long time ago . But I think this would be my favorite if I was still doing it
I am about to pour some DIY short stem walls on footings, can anyone tell me what to do to filll the tiny gaps between the plywood and the footings where the footing is uneven?
Tim, I found the manufacturer website for those tripods you are using for your scaffold, I sent them an email asking where I can buy them and they are ignoring me. Do you know where I could order a pair?
Where are the ICF walls, so much faster, no stripping, no cleaning forms, no taking away used forms, less waste, its already insulated and air barrier etc , etc
@@billmccance7762 ICF in our all, ALL costs considered is much more expensive. There is more bracing with them, initial material cost is much higher, extra work to hide the above ground concrete, etc. I want to go that route but when we price it, it is much much higher here and rare.

Been in forming for 35 yrs. Never seen this system . and would quit on day one if i was required to do this.. What a joke. Guaranteed they had blow outs. I'd have that wall done in 3 days. tops. all cleaned up..
Yeah ive never seen this system either. Seems to have worked out well for them though. They showed the finish product, walls came out good, no blowouts. Figured theyd need more whalers, kickers, etc, but they did fine with what they had
Why would it blow out? I have used this system 3 times now. A house, a garage, and now a shop. I’ve had no issues…, what system have you used that is better than this?
omg hahaha The Offspring is my guy's FAVE band, funny you said that.
As always... Absolutely Awesome 🥳🥳🥳
Looking great! Nice steady work! Love your version of forms!
at like 20:00 the wind started pushing the forms and I was like noooo but those forms are really good at staying up, I love the vids keep it up
Great videos bro! Keep up the good work. 👷♂

In the mud? Ok.

With the slide, you're probably lucky you didn't get a splinter in the bojangles!🤣
Looks amazing!!! Have you ever thought of installing your foundation drains before you do your walls?
Great work
Might of missed it but, where's Kyle :o
Love my broncos they are very handy!
Always rains !! Ahhh never have I ever had a good day for pours

The lined up seams driving me crazy
Singing Pink’s first hit song. Reciting Offspring lyrics to Noah. Hilarious. These apprentices must come from money because they have better rain gear then me.
😂😂 We buy the rain gear
First time i have seen you all sanding on form boards. Normally no debris is around.
My guys would run for the hills if it started to rain that much.
I had actually thought Noah was your son😂
Btw where's Kyle?
These walls are 10ft. In a larger more industrial application do you have a video of creating 20-25ft walls or larger?
So, do all building projects get inspected or are there exceptions? In this my country I see no inspector so I’m just wondering.
This is the part that usually leads to issues. They sub out the foundation work, Then the framers have to try and make there failures work.
I have to ask, if u are doing so many foundations, why not get some regular wall forms? So much faster, less laborors, less hardware.
Just wondering
I’m in Tacoma. Do you guys rent your forms or do you own your forms. Trying to find some where to rent them for my own house build.
Astrof form rentals in Everett
How does the rain not destroy your tools? I saw the circ saw in the rain. I would think the brushes would rust out?
I’m doing 9.5 foot walls now, standing up 4x8 sheets and bracing with PT 2x4, any suggestions for reinforcement/ spacing of kickbacks?

8 Inch wall, what size snap tie was used? You don't use whaler 2 x4 or verticals.

I must not get out much because I have never seen a 3 legged ladder before
Fortunately, the day is not so windy
We will have this foundation in 2 days with aluminum forms . That system it’s a joke .. I’ll quick on day one 😂
How do use snap ties without whailers?
I am about to pour some DIY short stem walls on footings, can anyone tell me what to do to filll the tiny gaps between the plywood and the footings where the footing is uneven?
I gotta build a single foundation wall that's holding my dirt in my backyard
How many days to place forms?
What is the retained height for these walls? 20' tall. Thickness?
