Tim, it is so good to see young guys taking an interest in the trades. When I started doing carpentry in 1975, the whole crew was in their 20s except the boss carpenter. He may have been in his 40s or 50s. I'm in Maine and we don't need all that steel in residential work.
I'm a old construction guy 50 years and too see almost all of the work being done with such a small crew is great and your job site really laid back attitude while still getting alot of work done I like the real time videos
Noah doesn't seem to realize the amazing opportunity you are giving him. How lucky he is to aquire a skill, and properly, from a "teacher" who simplifies with clarity.
The concrete company I work for has 3 of the regular tie guns and one of the bigger ones. We mainly use the regular guns but the bigger one is very nice when you need it. They work very well especially if you have a lot of room to maneuver the gun. If area is to tight you might struggle to get it to tie but they are awesome now that twin tier looks even cooler when it’s time to upgrade I’ll definitely look into that one.
The big ones are so sick. Still can't tie 2, 30 mm bars together though which sucks for me bc I had to wear a klien wire reel to tie. Mondays a new site so I'm stoked to be able to rip the bar gun again
>>>used both the max and makita tie guns, max has an advantage but was around $1k more, also the ammo is more expensive. max can tie larger bars but makita will work fine in 95% of residential rebar mats, so i'd say either gun will work ties are strong enough to climb like a ladder. I don't do much flat work but there is a gun designed for tie'n bar at your feet that looks wicked
I bought the Makita gun and while it does speed things up the tightness of the ties is not what I Expected. how much tighter is the Max gun compared to the Makita?
If I may give you a tip , your marked verts or template bars , I would just put them every 4 ft and put blank ones in between 🤷♂️ And just tie the wall 50% , also your horizontal bars mark out three on the ground wherever your holes are drilled and boom everything should be straight , throw your template horizontals one on top one in the middle , tie em solid and the rest is history , I’ve done rebar for 7 years , might help out with your efficiency 👍🏼 Also great videos
Does the engineer make you alternate your splice laps? Not critical if lap is correct size. I'm old school and we always alternated spices. Great video.
So I just heard that you use same tie wire on the top to pull the rebar in position. Why not use rebar spacer? And put them on the side where the distance is just 2” to the wall outside? I’m pretty sure you get the spacer in the right size.
Hey Tim, Kyle at RR Buildings told me he never heard of a tripod ladder and is still using 4 legged ladders outside on uneven ground, may be you should give him a heads up.
It's not til the end of this video that you see although the plots are mirrored the foundations are ever so slightly different on the internal pours. 31:06
Come mai non utilizzi griglie di ferro elettrosaldate ( dimensioni 4 mt x 2,5 mt ) cosi eviti di dover passare del tempo x legare tutto .. in italia 🇮🇹 si utilizzano..
hello, any interested in 4k security camera system sponsorship? I had messaged the detail to your INS message request. Waiting for your reply and get started

That tool is so efficient, even at any price I’d say it’s a real Bar-Gun!
😂😂😂
With a tool like that at one's disposal, I would seriously enjoy doing that everyday. Great vid quality as usual. You would be a joy to work for.
You are a great narrator. I’m tired off these off-grid wives trying to make these epic voiceovers with music. You are informative and entertaining.
Thanks bro, I guess you won't like my new channel about rebar tying off grid narrated by my wife 😂😂😂😂😂😂 just kidding.
Really good description of the tension side!

farming all concrete out to subs now. i don’t miss any of it now and good on you for leaving all of those shoulder hickys to the young fella

Could you do a video showcasing your tool belt? Which brand and what you carry?
You’ve got a lot of work to do there. That’s a big job. I’ve done some monster basements in Michigan. I miss the work. My body doesn’t though lol.
Always interesting videos with a good amount of information. Keep up the good work.
Nice job. How come they didn't make you epoxy in the 10 foot bars?
because the detail shows them not drilled or embedded into the footing.

much much tighter. Max has been at this for decades and is the leader.

The Broncos are very cool. I wish I had known about them before.

Thanks Tim. Enjoy Switzerland
Oh boy I will. Thanks Jim, I was there for 3 days in 2009 and have been dreaming about it since.

Absolutely Awesome 🥳🥳🥳
AWESOME, Thanks for the video 👍✌📐🔨
Goede Morgen ;-)
I didn’t notice, did you Epoxy those verticals into the concrete?
no, as shown in the detail, they didn't even need to be drilled into the footing. I just do that to make it easier for us.
Привет! ❤️ Ещё очень много работы!)

What about playing "gravity" over and over until your subscriptions increase to new heights?
Hey Tim, Kyle at RR Buildings told me he never heard of a tripod ladder and is still using 4 legged ladders outside on uneven ground, may be you should give him a heads up.
I will tell him that when I see him in 2 weeks 🙂
@@AwesomeFramers Looks like he has a new toy for you to check out.
Um bom dia. 🇧🇷
There's a new Makita rebar trying gun coming out, it's supposed to be way way better than the old one.
That's good, the first one was ok, but not great.

Hello 你好!
Could you not just stand sheets of mesh up
uhhh what happened to Kyle?
That subject is closed and I won't answer it publicly.
Malo e lelei
Learn how to tie, machines break.
Marked every vertical? C'mon bro, I'd take the can away from you.
