Thanks for viewing SHADOW. The audio mixer was from TV station WBZ from the late 80's. I bought it from a Ham operator for $600. All the other devices are things collected over time, including the computers, which we, UNFORTUNATELY, need now-a-days for the digitized music. I'm sure the mixer was worth $30K, in its day.
Hi Fred. Been a listener of yours on WBCQ for a long time. Nice studio, man. I am impressed. All I use here is my laptop and a good USB mic here on this end for Radio Free Euphoria. LOL! .Anyway I hope you're doing good there on your end, man. 73s my friend.
Hello, Fred. Your console is not a big fat console as you said. It is a powerfully professional model. I am sure that your radio station sounds like those sounds in a recording studio. You combined high-fidelity sound with digital sound through the microcomputers to make high-quality sound. I imagine that you can even use the computer for automatic broadcasting.
Hello Fred I don't know if you remember me it's Scotty Morgan back in Birmingham Alabama for all I did 10 years now I love visiting the stations there. I spent several years if they're working with Andy some at Citadel in Presque Isle and I also sold Allen the tower light some years before that around 1999 I think never knowing that I would meet him one day. But is this your control room your personal control room? I didn't think Alan would ever part with the gates diplomat. And I certainly wouldn't of course you have a lot of inputs but as you said most you don't use but my dream was to have two of those diplomats one sitting on top of the other so I would have enough for my turntables card machines reel-to-reels minidisc and CD players I think I would still be a little bit short but that would be close enough LOL so just wondering is this the new main control room or just yours please update me and hey I do miss you guys I miss walking around looking at all of that amazing equipment he's collected over the years wishing it was all mine of course LOL Tell Allen I said hi
That is a hi-fi system. Red Hot Chilli Peppers use a few things you use. Some are a little different I notice. Older board with fewer channels and designed for radio mixing application eh? Different equalizer, amps, and other aparatuses, but pretty much just a small snippet of their studio. Almost all analog too. How much did most of that stuff cost? I wish I had a studio like that.
THANK YOU THANK YOU...Those were tough times for me coming through a second cancer. Still here on this earth to make toes tap. I have my own internet radio station....www.hardrockradio.org
I could sit here all day and watch just the VU meters bouncing away, it gets hypnotizing! Thank you.
Just came across this, thanks for sharing your studio. I always wanted to be a DJ but I have a voice for CW.
All of that great equipment and we only get one audio channel on this video?

Thanks for the tour Fred. Awesome studio! I've been listening to you for at least 15 years. Thanks for all the toe tapping on Friday nights!
Hello Leif, sorry not to reply. Thanks for listening all these years my friend

I gave that console to Gary!

Ah, the Behringer 9024, neat little processor. I own the younger brother EQ 2000. All you need is to be rid of the condenser mic. Get a Heil PR40.
Uh . . the right audio channel is dead on UA-cam.
