@D g uhm only a lil i live in the UK and they are questionable but they are quite smooth
You’re picking it up really quickly! What helped me with the heel turns is focusing on putting your weight on the foot that is down not the foot that is on the heel as the heel is the pivot point. Also looking in the direction you want to go and not at your heel (I love looking at my heel so hard for me to remember) helps a lot!

I know that I’m a year late to these videos but Um I bought skates during the early days of the pandemic and took them out only a few times and then never again…but like you it’s always been a dream of mine to skate well and I want to do this for myself..so your videos really help me to see that I need to push myself and keep trying..so I bought skates that well hopefully fit better and will be out there this weekend. Wow, this is actually such an inspiring video. I’ve been in the same boat as you and have just been skating and not been learning too many moves. I’m going to make a list and challenge myself!
I used to have roller skates when I was younger and would skate around the house. They outgrew me and now I want to get roller skates again so I can do this. ♥️
My friend really wanted to teach me (and practice herself) how to "use" a skateboard and I was way too scared to do it... Then I realized that I could rollerskate instead.. So I started looking for rollerblades... Then I realized that I didn't wan't rollerblades, I wanted rollerskates. That's when I started to watch youtube-videos of people rollerskating and found your channel... I'm probably buying my rollerskates on Saturday next week! And boy I am excited!🤗

@@HeglaUA-cam Ah will do ;) My exams went okey I guess, we'll see. I had some summer'y days in the park where it was full of parents with young children skating. I had a few comments from people (young and old) that were like: wow, lovely color you have there, cuz my skates are yellow. When it's not Lockdown I do Boulderclimbing and I really love talking to people from the community and just get to know new people etc. Hopefully I can skate soon again once the weather is better. Sorry for the long messages I always send u haha

Your roads where your skate look soo smooth where I live all the roads are bumpy so its hard to skate
just got back home from skating outside. Skating outdoors is the most liberating feeling. EVERYONE SHOULD DO IT! its a little more challenging but definitely worth it :)

1:25 in … “I’m gonna get my skates on” that figure of speech means to get a move on, make haste, quick sticks etc. However you were literally getting your skates on and judging from the video it took some time to achieve that very task !

About the "bubbles" or what i like to call "lemons" i acn never do them on rollerblades, like seriously how the frick can you do them it's easy on ice but i keep stoping half way into the lemon
