So wonderful! I named my troublesome thoughts Sweet William after a precious rabbit (2 lbs btw )
who had been beaten and broken with a hammer and was so kind and accepting. He licked everyone including my 120# lab. It was a remarkable lesson in grace. Thank you, Adya❤

Sometimes I feel the opposite - that I, the "adult self" is the one who needs to learn humility and trust, to be willing to open myself to receive the Love from my own wise and beautiful inner child who only longs to love me through and beyond all the conditions and patterns of shame and self hatred I "thought I needed" to be ok. The inside Self loves so deeply, if only I can stop and receive

Something that has been opening to me is that everyone has this in him/her self, to various extent.
People use to distract and avert themselves from it by essentially living a life untruthful to themselves, but at the core everyone's being is suppressed.
Everyone in this life is not understood and accepted for who he/she is. The family supposedly exists for the precise reason of providing unconditional acceptance, but the reality is that it does not exist there, since all members of it are in the same boat so to speak. Only in rare environments like this retreat such sincere and genuine communication and connection is possible

...maybe when we deeply/fully understand and accept ourselves, we would not feel the need to be understood or accepted by others (although it's still nice to be understood or accepted)...it seems ultimately it's an inside job...up to each and everyone of us...🙏

Hello Kungwu. Ive been looking for one of adyas talks, namely -The Nondual teachings of Jesus. Its no longer on youtube.
Briefly here are some of the snippets from it - 'Have you ever been spiritually poor?" "Seek the kingdom first. He didnt say get yourself together first and then seek the kingdom.' And also 'Realize that it hasnt worked out,' 'The being part of human BEING."

I'm not sure if you mean the one entitled "The Kingdom Of Heaven" started with "when we see with our true eyes, all around us is the divine..." It was excerpted from Adya's audiobook "Falling into Grace", if that's the information you are looking for. If it is, it may be available in your local public library...🙏
