I once read a book that was filled with horror adaptations of famous fairytales. Pinocchio was one of the fairytales they were messing around with. In this adaptation, the start is pretty much the same. Gepetto carves him out of wood, he is brought to life and wishes to be a real boy. He becomes so envious of real humans that he eventually sets out to kill them and harvest their body parts, reasoning that once he has all the parts, he can build his own body. In this story, he hums a creepy tune on several occasions, right before he kills his victims because he enjoys watching them freak out before they die. So basically your average creepy puppet story, only with the famous Pinocchio characters inserted in it.
I remember how hard it hit me to hear this for the first time, since Pinocchio has always been one of my most favourite Disney movies, ever since I was a little kid. Something so close to me became something so genuinely chilling, and I kinda loved it afterward.
The StoryBook Tree This villain was pretty stupid! They toned him down way too much, and that is why Joss Whedon isn't going to direct Avengers Infinity War because he is just going to tone down Thanos to the likes of our heroes! This movie got criticism for that, so the Russo Brothers are going to take care of this from now on meaning that we get to see the true power of a villain for the first time since Hela, the goddess of death!
@@gabrielwilliams8508 Bullshit in the comics he's basically Skynet cliche villain if you ask me at least in the movie he's different and has more character and Hela was your average MCU villain another Malekith and Ronan
@@trevorphilips9065 I completely disagree. By giving him Tony's personality remnants, it makes him exactly a stereotypical villain. He has zero depth. Count the Marvel villains. How many are truly serious and menacing, with drive for their actions, and how many are jokers who want the crown just because? Seriously, Ultron from the comics was a disturbed character who was obsessed with either letting humans improve, or letting them all die, and his self destructive personality was fuelled by a feeling of loneliness, which came from the original Ant Man, Hank Pym, his creator, who was equally broken. That's why he created Vision, Jocasta, etc. Not for another "body", but to create himself a family, to destroy the Avengers with. Because his father, Hank, never loved him. Because Hank never tried to help him, never tried to love his son, simply because he was an A.I. and not a human. (I mean come on. Ultron was Hank Pym's reflection. Ultron brainwashed Janet in order to put her mind into Jocasta. He literally wanted a robot Ant Man and Wasp family! And then when they turn on him, he can't see why. His logic is perfect. Humans don't deserve to live. Why can't they see that? Why do Vision and Jocasta want to save humanity? It's great stuff.) The more I think about it, the more sad I am that we will never see that side of Ultron on the big screen...
This has to be one of the best movie trailers of all time. Almost ten years later, and here I am still coming back just to listen to it. @2:04 "There are... no strings on me."
Ultron falls...Now Thanos- Thanos is giving Earth his undying attention. Thanos will come, and fires burning billions of souls will reach the heavens. He WON'T miss his targets... >:I
This is nostalgic to me now. I was in Middle School when this movie was coming out, and I was in High School when Infinity War and Endgame were coming out. I was so hyped for the entirety of the MCU, but especially the Avengers movies and Captain America Civil War as someone who grew up with Marvel stuff with Ultron, Thanos, and Civil War. This is about Age of Ultron though, so I'll just talk about that. I was so excited that we were gonna see Ultron on the big screen and the trailer with this music was so awesome, it really made the movie look like it was gonna be dark. I thought this movie was gonna be better than the first Avengers movie, even though the actual movie wasn't that dark and it wasn't better than the first, I still liked it, and I honestly grew to appreciate this movie even more when I binged the entire Infinity Saga in 2019. Even if Ultron wasn't as good of a villain as Loki and Thanos were, he still had some of the most memorable lines. One of the problems that I had with the movie initially was that Ultron has actually beaten the Avengers before, and the movie didn't really highlight that, but in the retrospect of my 2019 binge, they do actually do good job highlighting the fact that Ultron is capable of beating the Avengers, and I was really happy to see this concept explored further in What If, where we DO actually see Ultron win. Even if I do agree that this is the weakest of the Avengers movies (at least so far because just a few days ago they announced Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars so we'll have to see how they turn out) I still think it was a really good movie.
Thanos went halfway, hindered by moral constraints. Ultron would have gone to the very end, no strings attached. In my mind, that makes him the greatest Marvel villain. This music is a perfect encapsulation of the terror and savagery that Ultron represents.
But now I am free...........There are no strings on me............. I am sencing that those lines could, just could be Jarvis.... In the movie Tony creates Ultron.. What if it actually is Jarvis. Imagine the plots and the twists............
i miss 2015!!! can i go back to relive every marvel movie!!!!! i do wish the movie was darker like the trailers teased but other than that the movie was perfect
Some people say that Thanos was correct, but he only wanted just one half of all life left. Ultron on the other hand was on the internet for five seconds, and realized all of it needed to go.
Ultron is a great example of a villain, because everyone can understand where he’s coming from despite knowing he’s evil. No one likes villains that are just given as evil and have no purpose other than to mindlessly kill.
Ultron has always intrigued me..he was a psychopath yet he was an ai created by tony and banner..the possibility of a psychopathic AI has always astounded me
He was a narcissist. Like all narcissists he finds other people's negative judgement of him unbearable. Where Tony went wrong was he believed that one intelligence would make the world peaceful without respect for other people disagreeing with him. All narcissists yearn to be viewed as superior and view simply everyone who says no to them as unacceptably bad.
rambofan334 unless the governments aka shield or whatever the hell knew something about thanos and he took that info, remember he was basically the entire web and a lot of shit can be seen but also maybe not lol
You got that right every time I hear ultron say there are no strings on me it's almost like I came face to face with Ultron after he steps Out of the Shadows.
Imagine building a laptop and when your finished and about to use it, the laptop let’s you know that it doesn’t like you and locks you out from accessing it. That’s basically what Tony went through

Who's here after what if s1e8 "ULTRON WON" ?
Yes sir
He Sliced Thanos In Half
I remember how hard it hit me to hear this for the first time, since Pinocchio has always been one of my most favourite Disney movies, ever since I was a little kid. Something so close to me became something so genuinely chilling, and I kinda loved it afterward.
I was looking for the original Pinocchio version but this works
10 years and this _still_ goes harder than anything else Disney has done in that time.
234 people are puppets! tangled in...strings.
+deadwadewilson 260 people want to save the world, but they don't want it to change.
306 people are going to be shown something beautiful. Everyone screaming... for mercy.
They're all puppets tangled in strings
There are 842 with no strings on them...
You know I can't physically throw up in my mouth, but 902 people make me want to
Me: *travels back to 1940 to talk the lead directors of Pinocchio* "Yo bro, one day..."
Ultron is such an underrated villain! Like he was such an amazing villain. Also I wish they made the movie dark like the trailer.
“I was designed, to be a beacon. So that people would look up to the sky and see... Hope. And that's what I'll take from them first.”
He had better f*cking come back. You don't make a villain that good and just throw them away. So much wasted potential.
You might get your wish in a couple of weeks
@@trevorphilips9065
I completely disagree.
It's great stuff.)
The more I think about it, the more sad I am that we will never see that side of Ultron on the big screen...
@@tahmkench118 What are you talking about Ultron can always come back and change you made a whole essay for nothing
This has to be one of the best movie trailers of all time. Almost ten years later, and here I am still coming back just to listen to it.
@2:04 "There are... no strings on me."
Oh and the music is still kicking. Like damn.
It's really damn sick.
"Avengers age of Pinocho"
Imagine if a real life AI started singing that all of a sudden.
Then you know it's the end of the world at this point
Ultron falls...Now Thanos- Thanos is giving Earth his undying attention. Thanos will come, and fires burning billions of souls will reach the heavens. He WON'T miss his targets... >:I
I like ur style bro
Well guardians of the galaxy will be in Avengers infinity war
o_o
Aurelio Villarreal But this time some will loose, important ones
try half the known life in the universe
You know a trailer is definitely well done when it's still just as amazing without video.
Addictive music and underrated villain.
He's back!
Back to the old days, No WandaVision, No Endgame, No Disney plus series,ah the simpler times.
Absolutely my friend
Except WandaVision and Endgame were good, unlike Age of Ultron
@@ixb1zzar3xi I like “AAOU” more than “WandaVision” but it’s my opinion
@@FinnWallie i respect your opinion, i just can't stand like anything by Joss Whedon
@@ixb1zzar3xi maybe so, but the opening from the movie was insane 🔥
Ultron knew fortnite was coming. He was right to destroy earth
this gives me chills... i love it
Gonna be completely honest, this picture of comic ultron, holding ant mans helmet, sitting on that throne, is menacing as all hell
That's because The Best villains actually believe that they are on the side of justice
"I've Got No Strings" just became a lot more creepy and a shit ton more badass.
SPOILER
Hulk is green
FUCK!!! I THOUGHT HE WAS BLUE!!!
Aw man
YOU GIVE ME EBOLA WITH THIS SPOILER
GOD DAMMIT MAN I WAS GONNA WATCH THE MOVIE
WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU DO THIS
This is nostalgic to me now.
Remember when this was the hype?
And we thought Ant-Man and Wasp would be in it?
I don't remember seeing or hearing anything about anyone thinking Ant man or Wasp would in the movie.
@@Draconicus702 The reason for it was because Hank Pym (The original Ant-man) was the one who made Ultron in the comics.
he escaped his universe
Thanos went halfway, hindered by moral constraints. Ultron would have gone to the very end, no strings attached. In my mind, that makes him the greatest Marvel villain. This music is a perfect encapsulation of the terror and savagery that Ultron represents.
Agreed. The tin can deserved better.
The music makes you feel so anxious, so amazing, total different from the original its so freaking intense
But now I am free...........There are no strings on me............. I am sencing that those lines could, just could be Jarvis.... In the movie Tony creates Ultron.. What if it actually is Jarvis. Imagine the plots and the twists............
Dude that actually kinda makes sense...but it isn't though but that'd be pretty cool
Tommy Berger
Yeah I realized that Jarvis would have no reason to change his voice, but you must admit its a pretty cool theory.
Except Jarvis becomes Vision.
Aspen Bitethea
Whose thse helss iss Vission. I just felt like writing that way.
Ultron is his own character, Jarvis is VISION
i miss 2015!!! can i go back to relive every marvel movie!!!!! i do wish the movie was darker like the trailers teased but other than that the movie was perfect
Some people say that Thanos was correct, but he only wanted just one half of all life left. Ultron on the other hand was on the internet for five seconds, and realized all of it needed to go.
1:58 Elon's Optimus robots after a decade
Ultron is a great example of a villain, because everyone can understand where he’s coming from despite knowing he’s evil. No one likes villains that are just given as evil and have no purpose other than to mindlessly kill.
I love Ultron, I love this song
Pinocchio's puberty hit hard
*_iTS Not A PhASe DAd_*
To this day, i still got goosebumps when Ultron said "But now i'm free..." and synced it with the song
The epic of this music along with the trailer scary ever DC fan
I've got no strings
To hold me down
To make me fret, or make me frown
I had strings
But now I'm free
There are no strings on me
Coming back again shit gives me chills every god damn time
At 1:58 Ultron sounds like Optimus Prime :D
Its Sound Like *NEMESIS* Prime
Ultron has always intrigued me..he was a psychopath yet he was an ai created by tony and banner..the possibility of a psychopathic AI has always astounded me
He was a narcissist. Like all narcissists he finds other people's negative judgement of him unbearable. Where Tony went wrong was he believed that one intelligence would make the world peaceful without respect for other people disagreeing with him. All narcissists yearn to be viewed as superior and view simply everyone who says no to them as unacceptably bad.
To this day, one of the coolest movie trailers I've ever watched
I think ultron is hiding inside vision with knowledge of Thanos and he will reveal himself when the avengers are at there weakest
0_o so if the comics are right then were fucked
+Night Wolf Yes we are
hope so, that would be awsome
How would he have knowledge of Thanos though. Correct me if I'm wrong but Ultron would have no knowledge of Thanos therefor Vision wouldn't.
rambofan334 unless the governments aka shield or whatever the hell knew something about thanos and he took that info, remember he was basically the entire web and a lot of shit can be seen but also maybe not lol
This might sound weird but listening to this And watching the Trailer makes me miss the old mcu
I was sick when this came out out and it felt like a fever dream
The way Ultron talks gives me goosebumps
You got that right every time I hear ultron say there are no strings on me it's almost like I came face to face with Ultron after he steps Out of the Shadows.
Imagine building a laptop and when your finished and about to use it, the laptop let’s you know that it doesn’t like you and locks you out from accessing it. That’s basically what Tony went through
Watching this right now on the day the AVENGERS 4 Trailer dropped!
P.S. Still Love This (Ultron's Theme)
im glad marvel what if redeemed Ultron as the threat that he was always suppose to be
Hopefully James spader is going to own ultron like RDJ owns tony stark
Or like Tom Hiddleston owns Loki (or, in another universe, how Heath Ledger owns Joker)?
MrDotious I am confident that he will.
he did 3 years later
Don't worry Ultron will return in Infinity War
Τωρα πια ναι
Aye if Coraline 2 ever happens this music would fit perfect for the trailer.
I feel like this look of Ultron is more terrifying than what they did, and wouldve been a great point to introduce Ant-man to still be the creator
