Nah Thanos was fuckin with Tony since A1, Ultron wouldnt have been made if Thanos didnt send the army in A1, every threat in every avengers movie, directly or indirectly, has been linked to Thanos so I think Thanos is the rare bigger bad and arch enemy
Ultron is a tragic villain. He did not choose to become a genocidal maniac. He was created to bring about world peace, but he realised that he could not fulfill his programming unless he got rid of the thing that ended peace: Humanity. He was never truly did of his strings. They merely became twisted and tangled. As did he. After all, he was only following his prime directive. "Peace in our time", he simply chose the peace of the grave. I honestly didn’t like Ultron in this movie at least as ultron. He was really just evil tony stark and he looked nothing like his comic form. Also he died which was the thing about ultron, he always came back stronger than before. He’s basically robotic really smart doomsday. The villain that succeeds and kills the main characters. Though in Age of ultron he just outright died. They used him to early. He’s the closing villain, sphere belongs in the final film, not the second. There’s none of that cold emotionless destroyer there. The personality he has is fine, but not ultron. And he looks nothing like ultron other than that he’s a robot with red eyes. The picture for this video is what he normally is like. In fact this remix and picture basically summarizes the comic ultron. Shuttle scary freaky. Rather than the over the top action bashing into your skull that it’s an action movie original track. But this was just my random rant.
I liked it they went with their own thing. I didnt read the comics when I was a kid so maybe thats why im not upset I know that he was barely in them when they were about him.
I liked him as a villain and a character, but not as a representation on ultron. I really like Disney’s Hercules, but I know it is awful as an adaptation to the Greek mythos. I also think it was a bit of a let down, comparing how as some he was originally. That’s all.
We do still have hope Ultron may not be a problem for the MCU right now but so much of his tech is still floating around that one day if someone combines one of his bodies with a server like state maybe he could come back ya know like he left a safety protocol in all his machines I mean you do see one of his heads in spiderman homecoming
