Such a beautiful video!! I have the 226 with gold hardware I like the look of it pushed in at the bottom but then you have to always have to lay it down when your out or when storing instead of standing up. I leave mine flat at the bottom for that reason and am afraid to keep pushing it back and forth as it might show more wear. Do you leave yours flat and how do you store it? My SA said to put the chains in the other flap of the white dust bag and fold it over the back of the bag. Which I do but put a light piece of styreform between the fold over flap and the back of the bag. She said do not store flat.

I love how flexible your Reissue is. What year is it from? Mine is not as squishy, but I I love the more flexible ones.
Mine is from September 2017, so quite new
lovely bag but is the chain as comfy as the classic chains? will not dig into the shoulders?
Its very comfy. Better than on classic medium flap
I also think this chain is more comfortable than the classic. Its a bit wider so it doesn’t seems to dig in as much.

Does the rheuthenium hardware become shiner or more silver with wear?

Hi Anna, I just bought mine from Fashionphile. However, the leather feels almost like vinyl. Is that how it’s supposed to feel? Or is it soft feeling like lambskin?
giak5555 hi, as someone who got my hands on different reissue bags, I don’t think I’ve come across one that feels like vinyl. Each batch of these bags were made from different animals that were raised under different conditions that’s why some batches can be softer than others, some batches can also be less wrinkly than others. My first reissue was way softer and more malleable than the one I got just a month after - and I’m talking about store-bought bags, guaranteed authentic. The first one was softer but the feel of the leather was similar to the other one I got. They’re supposed to feel tougher than lambskin but still luxurious in a way.
I guess what I’m saying is, go try reissue bags in different Chanel stores to know the look and feel of different authentic reissues. If you’re still in doubt, have your bag authenticated. I’ve heard about people who got fakes from Fashionphile so beware. All the best!
