Trust me if you buy Chanel often you will see that some of these flaws are on the bags in the boutiques their quality control is not the best doesn’t mean it’s fake just get it authenticated x

It looks authentic to me. There are always minute variations in each bag but everything looks authentic.
Yeah, it looks real to me. Sometimes you unfortunately will have some bags that have minor flaws. The aged calfskin never looks plasticky, and should feel luxurious at all times. I have found that most Chanel bag issues occur with the smaller sizes- classic flap square/rectangular mini, and 224 reissue. I don't know why this is, maybe it's just been my experience, but nonetheless it really can be frustrating.. Trust your instincts, and for the price $$ we have to pay for these bags, they should be exactly what you want.🙂

The measurements may be a little off from year to year. From which year is this Reissue from? Could it have been redyed?
Hi 😊 The authenticity card and sticker starts with 15XXXXXX. Which means, according to Yoogi’s closet authentication guide, it should be from 2011. I didn’t know that measurements could be off from year to year.
I have previously checked the sizes on google (can't remember the exact website), then recently I checked them on Chanel's website and they were slightly different. Either Chanel changes the sizes slightly or your original source was wrong. Some UA-camrs doing unboxings from the Chanel shop have commented that the inside/bottom of their bags are loose and baggy. Also your height measurement should take into account that the bag is meant to be pointed at the bottom. I have trained mine to sit flat like yours so it will sit upright.

Who authenticated because authenticators also screwup. The only way you would know is to bring it to the Chanel store and ask them to do a specific service like the discolouration of the zip pull-. Then if they decline, you know it’s a fake

Authentics have flaws.
What series is this and can you get a close up of the serial? Everything seemed ok until you showed the loose leather lining. That was a red flag. But seeing the sticker would help more in authenticating.

Trisha, Reissues do have that moving/floating leather lining. Some more, some less.

your bag is 100% authentic! I bought mine in store with the exact combo. you are over analyzing, and clearly you didnt do too much research before your purchase. and they are handmade bags not iphone wont have exact measurement on all bags.

Hi, I actually think the bag is real despite the points mentioned. As we are all probably aware, quality control at Chanel can vary. I'm actually not surprised about the glue residue because I have seen bags at the boutiques which are brand new and still had glue residue on it. The bags can have misalignment as they are handmade and depending on how much time they put on making each bag it can vary. The inner leather I heard is lambskin, so it will be softer. Though it should lay flat, I'm somehow not surprised either that it can move inside the bag. Not sure if the previous owners were taking good care of the bag. But the points mentioned do actually occur in real Chanel bags too...
Thank you for the comment😊 In the bags I have bought from Chanel store, they dont have a thin(hard to show in camera How thin it was cause it looked good on camera but felt very thin) loose bottom like that. But the ones I have to compare with are newer so cant really compare. I got this authenticated. And this piece turned out/was evaluated as authentic. I used a third party Authenticator. Did not go to Chanel store to request one of the «bag services» (possible to order for a Chanel bag)
I think it’s fake, the dust bag looks completely different than the one i have (i bought mine at a chanel boutique), although mine is 225.
Mine has no visible signs if glue and when you press an authentic chanel it doesnt spring back up (unless you fill it with items).

Sorry but I think it is fake. Look at the inside linening, the real one should be tight and flat. no puffy feeling
That is What i was worried about 😔 It is The Bottom that gives it away! Like The lining is just so thin to The touch Even tho’ it looks great, when i pull it or move it around... it feels so very thin. But it is hard to show that it is very thin on camera.
Hello, wondering about the size..... it’s the mini-size, and the mini is always single,flap.and the inside must be normally burgundy red by the double flap stitched cc.......and the mini in silver hardware just arrived this weeks, like I know........

@@ChanelGirl I have about 10 reissues, in 228, 227 and 226 anything other than that is just too small. I just boughtlast week a black calf 227 with gold hardware 16p season unused on Vestiare and a 226 dark grey patent with gold also on Vestiare - but I hate Vestiare, never again! As you get older you need a bigger bag for reading glasses, now masks and hand sanitizer etc. XX
@@sunitad592 Oh wow 10 reissues! I love reissue bags!!! And you even have the 228! I agree, the 224 is way too small for me swell..I haven't shopped at Vestiare but I think prices are so close to retail so I would rather get it from the store if I was to buy one now.
hmm, authentic chanel bags are hand-stitched, therefore they might have some irregularities, it's normal i suppose. heard this from some other vids i watched.
I guess so, its not gonna be perfect but the thinness of the bottom inside the bag (hard to show on Camera) was the one thing that I was most reluctant about. Thank you for watching and commenting 💕

Hi Linda X at The moment I have a black Chanel Reissue in xxl in tweed, a black reissue single flap in tweed with leather strap that can be worn crossbody, a reissue 227 in Calfskin so black, a reissue 227 in black caviar leather, And a reissue in 225 in black caviar leather. So they are all similar but different sizes And materials 😅 and all of them are The samme colour. 😊

I think you should Authenticate with real authentication website they are amazing and inform you with in 12 to 24 hours that bag should Authentic or not send the pictures to them and it’s good that you can double authenticate the bag for your peace of mind. Good luck
