Was great to catch up mate 💙💙 Really impressed with the GoPro quality there too! Good vid, wasn’t aware you filmed that intro 😂😂 Hopefully catch you again soon ✌🏼✌🏼
Cheers for the view and comment Rob. For whatever reason the difference in sound has not come out well on this video. If you have time - I have a review of all M2 variants on the channel and do an exhaust comparison on that which appears to show them off better - maybe worth a look before you make any decisions. 👍
Iv Got a OG m2 running 425bhp you should do a race between the OG vs comp to see if spending 2k on tuning and saving yourself 8 to 10k on the comp is worth it. Can use mine if you want.
Picking up my M2C soon, definetly getting a Remus exhaust. Sounds fantstic! Noticed your reg plate... I wanna do something similar with mine, do you get any grief from the police for the spacing?
Hey chap - Remus is a great shout - i've been really pleased. I've had no issues as of yet however I have the letters in full UK size etc. No doubt i could end up in trouble mind!!! But suspect that as the letters are readable that i'm being "let off" maybe!!!
awesome comparison video! for me personally, it is very hard to discern the differences between the stock and the Remus exhaust notes captured via a mic and then through UA-cam. Could you tell me what the human ear actually hears? Is the Remus just louder, has better exhaust tone? How does it compare to a Milltek equal length exhaust ?
Cheers for the view and comment. To me - I. Person the Remus sounds far deeper in tone and overrun. Defiantly louder. The stock doesn’t sound bad but in comparison is “strangled” by the back box.
@@CarMadDad I mean. Don’t get me wrong. We all breath the same air. And I’m happy overall the direction things are moving: towards less emissions. But as a final hurrah to the V1 car scene: it doesn’t get much better than a manual M2 Comp (no matter the exhaust). Thanks for the content. And from one driver to another, consider this a virtual wave
Great video! I would be really interested in a suspension update now you have had it fitted for a few months - seriously considering the R & T setup for my F87 🙏
the stock exhaust is good enough. It also doesn't disturb your neighborhood that much. I also think the M Gmbh engineers thought about the torque at low rev in town with the factory fitting exhaust. Save your money for something else.
From what I can hear in the footage there isn’t much of a difference so maybe not spend the extra cash, maybe heading it in real life might change my mind
Stock sounds fine. When you’re sat at the lights revving your engine, nobody is thinking wow listen to that awesome Remus, that guy is a winner. They’re thinking what a bellend. More respect for the guy who doesn’t need to mod the sound. Subtlety is key. You won’t agree with me because you’re kids who can’t afford this car so each to their own but I’ll be sticking to stock.
You my pedigree chum make some fantastic points with the subtlety of a wrecking ball. I can’t say I’ve ever sat at the lights revving - but rest assured I’m happy to be the bell end. I take some (a lot) of issue with you referring to either of us as “kids” and even more with whether I can afford this car or not. I can’t speak for Will - so I won’t, however FYI my cars are owned and well within “affordability” 🖕. I won’t pass comment on you personally in reply - that would be childish (and something a “kid” or someone trying to justify there self worth and value in a comment on the internet would do). Don’t darken my comment section again 👍
Remus much better, makes it a lot better. Think for the normal M2 it doesn't need it as much, but for the comp, it defo needs it!

Ditto chap
A pleasure to meet you and watch a professional in action 😜
@@CarMadDad ha hardly 😂
I was going to go Remus, but this has changed my mind. I’m sticking stock. No real difference for me.
Cheers for the view and comment Rob.

Sounds like a great idea James... 🤔
@@CarMadDad Get the m2cs involved and It would be even better. Drag race between all three.
Mines going in to Motech tomorrow. More for the aesthetics than sound but an improvement in sound will be a welcome bonus.
Great choice chap - send Mike and the team my best x
Not exhaust related. But why does your SatNav look different to mine? Are you using car play?
It's Google Maps on Apple Car Play chap - had it coded in by DD Coding 😜😜

You should try to pair the Remus axle-back exhaust with equal length midpipes ! The result is outstanding ! Maybe another comparison ? 😉
I have heard great (loud) things 😂
Great video!
I saw you have an alcantara steering wheel? Was wondering where you got it from?
Royal Steering Wheels chap

Everybody gangsta till OG M2 rocks up
Or an OG with a Remus #TopTrumps
The European Remus sounds basically like the American stock ngl.
I’ve heard that Phil - pesky regs this side of the pond 🇺🇸 🇬🇧

Been v pleased so far
Are you pulling my plonker, I’ve a standard (nothing standard about my plonker) but it sounds nothing like yours 😳
Must be the TV magic 😂
What is the Name of end pipe.
Remus axle back

N55's still sound so much better imho.. S55's just sound like fruit blenders hahah
Yeah but a sexy fruit blender... right 🤔???
Remus with the mid res delete too 😆
Knew you’d say that #ASBO 💪
Remus and Res deleted getting done today :)
Quality dude - enjoy 😊

Think you are right Riaan. There is a m2 comparison video where we look at OG / conk and CS and that shows it better I think 👍
