Brita filter indicator lights burn out fast. Get used to using the filter with out the indicator. After buying several new ones, I've changed over to Pur.
PUR claims a 3 month life for there filters. I am one person with a dog. The change light goes RED in three weeks. I'll be sending test samples to a college that can evaluate the quality. Before and after the filter is dead. Hopefully it's a battery issue and not a complete LIE!
Let us know hoe it turns out....the red light comes on after 100 gallons has passed....I reset it and use twice. You must be letting the water run thru before you actually use it. Never use it on the "hot' water flow.
The best thing to filter the water with is activated charcoal that's what should be in them water filters the rest of those substances should not be used those substances should not be used in the first place
@@lunajane1112 you didn't understand what he meant. He used the wrong word it's gallons not litres for such a small value 200 gallons or 320 gallons. No producer of water filters makes them to last under 600 litres. No one would buy them.
