I got a Brita today. I have to admit, I was always like its a waste of money and they don't do nothing for tap water. I poured 2 glasses, one the tap and the other filtered. Immediately, you can tell the difference just from the smell test. I found myself actually taking down a glass of filtered water faster than I ever did. I guess thats because I actually enjoyed the filtered water. The filtered water taste like nothing compared to the tap that taste like "something". As a procrastinator, yeah I know, that word, I recommend to get a filter on your tap and suggest that it is NOT a waste of money! Just to think, water is a natural way to cleanse impurities, but if it is not filtered, you are adding impurities to your body.

@@feefees9796 Oh! well water? I advise you to get something like a residential reverse osmosis filtering system. Common sink filters like Brita and PUR is meant for tap water that has gone through the process in municipality plants in city water where those plants do indeed do thier job, but not a a standard of delivery expectations via pipe line. Well water is fresh water tap through natural underground aquafiers. Check with your provider and see what their process is. Sometimes they do have an EPA approved filtering process, but most of the time, they don't. If they have proof of a filtering process like cities have, yes, do a Brita or PUR. If not, I recommend you get one of those high end systems installed. They can cost you from $300 -$1500 and you have to pay a plumber to install it correctly., but its a wise investment for homes in rural areas. It can save you time and money with clean drinking water.

Isn’t that something. DuPont puts the chemicals in your water and then sells you a filter to remove them.

I've had the Brita system for a long time and I like it. My only complaints are that it doesn't eliminate fluoride, it leaks, it's made of plastic and the batter for the indicator light can't be replaced. Once the light stops working, it's done.

Regarding 4, as well as several others like it, the indicator light is a gimmick. You're better off keeping track of your filters manually because once the battery dies, some devices simply do not let you change it.

Reviewers that review NOTHING. No testing, no personal experiences, no demonstrations, just reading marketing propaganda.

Brita faucet filter only works for a month or so. I've used two of them. Hard to turn on/off after a month or so, filter sprays off faucet. Had to buy a new unit for each new filter as new filters don't stay on old units. For the money NOT worth it.
