We the Community have a responsiblity (to Des) to build broken decks or just publish deck lists so these cards unnaturally migrate to the top 4 decks so Des get his wish.
You know, I have realized something ... Anytime the card are is of a clear slightly cloudy sky, the card is over powered (Zenith Flare, Sphinx's Revelation, Dream Trawler, Trancendant Master, etc.), so now we know.
None of these cards are broken and ban-worthy. Just a few are even good enough to have a home in sanctioned play. Maybe including some removal spells in a deck is a better option than hating on any good card in standard. Unless this video is a joke. Then shame on me I guess lol.

I think the only reason I didn't agree with some of these, is because I think there are too many board wipe cards and not enough targeted removal options, or remove indestructible/hexproof.

Terror is a nuisance I agree, and the Goose is just striaght value, but the Ultimatums are fine. The fact that they cost 7 mana and that they have very specific mana costs make them fine.

i actually combo off with number 5 so im guilty of being toxic asscancer ;O;. that being said, cant believe sublime epiphany and voracious greatshark arent on here, ban those, great henge, return of the wildspeaker, seagate restoration, overflowing insight, midnight clock, inspired ultimatum, whirlwind of thought, all planeswalker commanders. just ban all the stupid rares and mythics that give you free cards tokens creature cheatouts and other sh*t so this game can go back to being fun. cycling m20 for m21 started the problem. theros and eldraine enhance the problem. ikoria continues the problem. zendikar finishes off the problem. the fact that against the control mirror match, every card on this list is either countered milled discarded destroyed or exiled because "can't be countered", hexproof, protection, indestructible, etc. seem to have been forgotten about so even the biggest creatures in the format can be countered or removed for 2-3 mana. i miss big creatures or creatures in general that successfully protect themselves. ;x here's to wotc fixing this shet.

The comparisons aren’t really apt. In boxing, countering is completely legitimate. Why over extend when you can just respond to a potential threat? But running out of cards in a deck? That would be like watching somebody do nothing but clinch and then be declared the winner even though they didn’t actually engage in the fight. (And is also why clinches are broken up and also why people hate Floyd mayweather, though I tend to be of the school of thought that he actually boxes a lot)

For me I'd add Felidar Retreat or any enchantments that give you 2/2 creatures for not much effort and take your pick of x number of ramp cards. It's too easy to get stupid amounts of mana and then cast a Genesis Ultimatum. Its gotten to the stage where running a 3+ colour deck isn't a challenge and mana costs in anything splashing green are almost meaningless. I put a Gyruda in a mono-black creature deck and he seems underpowered compared to the amount of other free-casting available. Remember when Gyruda was a thing not too long ago? Yeah, he's now so underpowered you never see him but I do love the tentacled bastard, even when he whiffs completely. Oh and Merry Christmas Des, let the salt flow through you. Better out than in, eh? 👍
