A lot of Facebook’s views are fake. Facebook’s Autoplay feature means those that simply scroll past the video will count as a “view”. I can definitely tell you that only around 5,000 people properly “saw it”
Not really fraudulent at all, the one point he made of how other sites make you go to the actual video instead of how Facebook can just put them straight on their page was enough. It’s October 1 and almost midnight here. UA-cam has recommended this although I have never watched this channel, this is the 5th video from left on my iPad screen. So, I can guess that after 2 months, someone at UA-cam or a bot probably decided to put this. Despite the hundred and thousands complaints I have against this platform and it’s system and practices, thank you whoever bot or person has put this in the recommended and many people like me can see the problem which this video has effortlessly put in the spotlight.
I agree with ya. I am glad I was recommended this either by a person from UA-cam or a bot. Kinda mind blowing how even though it's been about a month when this video came out that the 10k sub count stated in the end has jumped to near 160k subs now.
Freebooting on Facebook is tough to combat. They really just don't care about you. A friend of mine put out a video on YT that saw some moderate success, and it has since been reposted countless times on FB for millions of views. Sucks to see other people steal your work and profit off it while you put the time and effort into it and only see a tiny bit of the returns.
Ironically, I’ve just come from this exact video that’s been reposted on TikTok. Luckily, I knew who you were prior to the video coming up on my for you page. So I ensured that I check out the ACTUAL video, in an attempt to at least give you some traffic for your efforts. Unfortunate that this is still a prevalent issue 3 years later.

That sucks I literally just saw the video on Facebook, and I said "hey, I know this guy from the Pubg video", you make great content, the humour and comedy is great, it's sucks that the repost has more views than the original
This is pretty paintful, I used to be an animator but the algorithm completely destroyed that goal, so I was forced to make low quality edits I didn't like to make just for views
I myself am not a animator, but I can understand the amount of effort youtubers put into their videos. It's tough, there's not much I can say left, just that I hope you know just like your flipnote hatena fans, people will keep on loving your content.
Your "F you nintendo" video got recommended to me earlier today. I think I was too young to really get into flipaclip (and also I didnt have it on my ds and didnt know how to get it) but it was interesting to hear your story. Since watching that video I have been binging the rest of your videos. I've always enjoyed the stick men animation style and having them in your videos adds a flare I havent seen on any other animation channels, at least not ones like this. Animation takes a lot of time, work, and dedication. It's sad to see stuff like what you described in this video happening. Like you said, the video that was stolen took a whole year to make. That's some dedication man, huge applaud from me. The person that stole the video likely took only about 5 minutes to download and repost it, that's so aggravating and upsetting. I hope Facebook does something about it, if it hasn't already.
I'm trying to launch a comedy club on UA-cam. I knew there were difficulties like this, but this is very informative. I had problems with Facebook over content rights and lost the rights to my own photos for a book. I ended up trashing the project entirely rather than risk Facebook coming along and claiming my work to be their property. Thus far UA-cam has given me no trouble. That being said, I haven't made a dime yet. But really at this point I'm more banking on booking live events.
Congrats on 100k damn I use watch you on flip notes when I was like 8-9, god you and other animators on there were badass. I'd just sit there for hours watching them. I never tried to make any myself considering my age and lack of equipment but that didn't stop me from enjoying it, shitty to see this happen to you, I hope youtube fixes there shit and gives you your proper treatment, anyways thanks for the memories
"UA-cam pays people more money" True from a certain viewpoint but with the demonitizing for just swearing, chances are you would make more money selling old pants than making vids
I'm a new youtuber and try this technique to see if it works by putting a "must be 14 or older" warning on my videos and hope I don't get demonetization but frist I must get 4000 veiws and 1000 subs to see
I actually remember using flipnote when i was really young, and really enjoying it. This video got recommended to me, and after taking a dive into your channel, it brought back soooo many memories about my childhood that i had forgotten. I didn’t do much with flipnote hatena, but i do remember cherishing what little i could accomplish and staring in awe at the amazing animations that people had made. Stick fighting was always so awesome to me, but as life went on, i just forgot about it and moved onto other things. I see now that there were some really special moments in that little studio, and although all of the details are hazy, it’s nice to remember those good days. I have always had a passion for creating arts, and i’m not sure if that was always in me or helped from the dsi and 3ds, but all in all, i’m glad that i found your channel, and i’m glad that i could re-remember those days. New subscriber. (P.s. the hair in first impression is definitely strange but it grows on you quick and i quite like it now)
I got recommended that beautiful flipnote video, I am now: subscribed, all notifications, _and_ making my way through your entire catalogue. Thank you for existing
Just saw this video come because I stumbled on your god tier videos on CSGO and PUBG, it's sad people still have to fight this kind of issue to this day, I hope you will have more popularity for the effort you put into all these videos. Also for "not being as polished" as usual, seemed pretty damn good nonetheless.

maybe he was rushing on the video (like rey said) and he didnt want to put it in cuz that would take a lot longer for information that is important to get out asap.
I personally dislike the blue hair 👉👈
3:22 if you didnt see it the first time. Its in there.
If this makes you feel better, this was in my recommended
Same here
You popped up on my recommendation. So I think what you’re doing right now is good. Keep up the hard work. 👍🏻
A lot of Facebook’s views are fake. Facebook’s Autoplay feature means those that simply scroll past the video will count as a “view”. I can definitely tell you that only around 5,000 people properly “saw it”
Thats not the point, what if he did get that many views? It’s plain plagiarism, and he made money off of it.
lordsaveme I’m saying he’s made the video look more fraudulent that it could have been.
Not really fraudulent at all, the one point he made of how other sites make you go to the actual video instead of how Facebook can just put them straight on their page was enough. Facebook doesn't want people to leave their site/app, but freebooting will happen until they allow that to happen.
edit: grammar, oof
I just got it recommended to me- hopefully other people get it too. GL man this sucks
It got removed, if you check the link
You sure know how to talk fast. I love you bro. You're amazing.

no just put watermark
Freebooting on Facebook is tough to combat. They really just don't care about you. A friend of mine put out a video on YT that saw some moderate success, and it has since been reposted countless times on FB for millions of views. Sucks to see other people steal your work and profit off it while you put the time and effort into it and only see a tiny bit of the returns.
use an atrocious watermark
@@finhazel great idea
got a link to that vid? i might be able to give a couple of views.
@@daemonvanmeir9697 agreed
I guess just put a fat watermark and a plug to your UA-cam channel at the very beginning of the video
Sorry to hear about it man, glad to see your video is gaining traction on UA-cam though! It was in my recommended today :)

Some guy said it's just because the algorithm thinks that stick animations are trending (because of the recently published Henry Stickmin collection)
@@josefdrapak1889 oh that's actually big brain
Just saying... I’m the 400ty like
@@josefdrapak1889 I like to joke that the algorithm clearly shows this because the algorithm secretly hates Facebook.
500th like where’s my recognition pay up.
This argument was eloquently spoken and well thought out, with great diagrams that are easy to follow. I am now subscribed to edgyjacket sonichair until further notice.
i have never seen you or heard of you a day in my life and you popped up in my recommendation, i love your animations
I've always thought youtube to be scummy, and I still think so, but this is a whole new level of scum. I hope justice gets served.
As someone who came from this video, I'm mad this is happening
That sucks
I literally just saw the video on Facebook, and I said "hey, I know this guy from the Pubg video", you make great content, the humour and comedy is great, it's sucks that the repost has more views than the original
This is pretty paintful, I used to be an animator but the algorithm completely destroyed that goal, so I was forced to make low quality edits I didn't like to make just for views
What's that? FB uses scummy practices? What a surprise.
I myself am not a animator, but I can understand the amount of effort youtubers put into their videos.
It's tough, there's not much I can say left, just that I hope you know just like your flipnote hatena fans, people will keep on loving your content.
that is it we need to cancel facebook who's with me?
(actually no but if you want okay)

ikr, he was at like 7k last time i checked up on his channel.
Thats gotta suck dude, people are jerks
I love your pc master race video and I hope you get better treatment for the amazing work you do
Your "F you nintendo" video got recommended to me earlier today.
Even a year later. I still got recommended this video.
"UA-cam pays people more money"
True from a certain viewpoint but with the demonitizing for just swearing, chances are you would make more money selling old pants than making vids
Meeeee dickkkkkkkkk
I'm a new youtuber and try this technique to see if it works by putting a "must be 14 or older" warning on my videos and hope I don't get demonetization but frist I must get 4000 veiws and 1000 subs to see
I read "old plants" I was like, but aren't all plants old when they reach a certain age?
Anyway, trousers, they're called trousers.
I found your channel through ‘F___ NINTENDO’ and immediately started binging the other videos and subscribed, you’re going up 👍
Yeah, any Flipnote Hatena animator is a good person to me

I gotta tell you man, this is a refreshing art style in the animator community. On top of that, your videos carry a metric ass-load of genuine emotion.
