Great question. I am very impressed with it. There are times you hear the Turbo whistle while your just driving. Once you get past the CVT and feel the speed acceleration…. It’s hard to believe this is a 4 cylinder. It’s Fffast. Now… when your on the highway rolling around 70/80 mph… the acceleration and power is all there. I’m impressed. Got about 1700 miles so far.

I’m sure Honda ironed out the whole oil dilution dilemma with the 1.5 turbo engines, but I still wonder about the long term reliability. I ordered this exact car a month ago. I am told today that it is arriving soon. Since this video are you still happy with this vehicle? I bought my daughter a 2021 Civic and my other daughter a civic new in 2017. Both love theirs. I’m a Chevy guy so I own a 2019 Corvette Stingray and a 2019 Trail Boss. This will be my first Honda which will replace my daily driver Chevy Cruze. Love the looks of this car. What upgrades have you done since purchase?
Very happy with the car. I think you’ll be surprised when your pop that baby into sport mode. It’s not a Vette by any means.. But I am blown away of the amount of pep this lil thing has. Every time I fill it up… I laugh at the price. Great MPG and not a lot of money to fill it up. Even with todays prices.

Finally got mine 3 weeks ago. Can’t believe how long it took to get this car. The dealership in Columbia SC tinted the windows and ceramic coated it. I brought it home and did the Adams advanced graphene coating on top the ceramic coat. Then topped it off with the Adams graphene boost. The car is absolutely beautiful. I am really happy with it. You don’t see many of these hatchback Civics on the road.

Mr. Rene, I couldn’t sleep because I actually pulled the trigger on a trade in and chose an upgrade to the touring. I haven’t seen my car yet but I believe it’s the same as yours (white touring). However, because of this video I now know what to look for and listen to as far as defects. I don’t believe the car industry is what it used to be. Dealerships make excuses for imperfections and quality control issues. Thank you for your review because it’s honest and complete. Please keep it going. Also, what type of gas do you use? Thanks Mr. John. We bought this car sight unseen. The touring interior is really nice. There are some differences on the looks between a Touring and this Sport Touring. Mostly outside. Rims and front grill. Interior wise the cockpit looks identical inside as a Touring. The rear roof line and hatch may be the only difference. Thank you for watching and Congrats on your upgrade.
Great video, love the white and blacked out windows. Did the dealer ever fix your door? If so what did they do? Just got my civic hatch too and noticed my drivers door is slightly lower than the rear drivers side, it’s not as noticeable but it still kinda bugs me since taking it home.
i got mine 3 weeks ago a rallye red sport touring hatch, last week washed her personally and got a small paint peeled off in the back right beside the car plate area so bought some touch-up paint from my dealer, secondly some issue with the wireless apple carplay/andriod auto it wouldn't connect my phone but works fine with wired connection. Still i love her its my first car after all. Driven her about 600 miles now. i hope you able to fix that misaligned door its really annoying to look at.

Wondering what octane you fill up your gas tank with, Honda says 87 or higher for the CVT transmission. If you ever fill the tank with different octane, do you notice any difference on mpg or performance? Thanks

Drives me nuts every time I see it. To my surprise this Hatchback Sport Touring is very close to an SI. They resemble each other a lot. The Hatchback looks so sporty. We have the CVT but the 6MT is the way to go.

Yes. Alignment of door was very easy and a minor adjustment according to my service writer. Still have wind noise.. but I’ll be covering that soon…. Could be a minor adjustment.
@@237311 Si has the same engine just tuned differently. This is also a 1.5 Turbo if it’s the touring model. The LX and sport come with a 2.0 4 cylinder.
What wheels do you have on your civic. Those look like the sport trim rims. They said it would be almost 2k to get the blacked out rims that are four large spokes at my dealer. I’m thinking of blacking out the rest of my rim on my sport touring.
It is.. surprisingly smooth with really good response. That’s where the suspension shows off. Feels very stable and handles pretty well. For a civic… I’m blown away.

It was a easy fix, the driver door just needed adjusting which the dealer easily fixed. I have a appointment to get my windows tinted, going with what you have.
Are those the stock rims for this model or did you get an upgrade at purchase.. They look like the ones that come with the sport touring model but they don't seem to have that metallic silver that I've seen on everyone else's. Your rims appear to be blacked out. I'm wondering if its worth paying he extra 1500 for the black rim upgrade.
Based on my research the rims on our car only come in the Hatchback Sport Touring & si. The silverish wheels come on the Sedan Touring. The sport touring hatchback and si share a lot of the same things such as chassis and suspension. The si gets the 5 speed manual… which is an option for the hatchback… but we have the CVT transmission for maximum fuel efficiency. This is our grocery getter .. we’re just putting around town. Lol
I agree. Every dealership in Georgia is as well. I had to pay $1800 over sticker. They added things like nitrogen air, rubber floor matts, mud guards and a trunk tray. Totally taking advantage of the situation.

I have a 2018 Civic Si and it has a lot of misalignment problems in the chassis. The quality control on these cars is not great. Same issue with the wind noise on the drivers side, mine makes a crackling sound too, interior rattles.... I might just trade it in for a SUV
Wow. Goof to know. Mine was built here in Indiana. One would think Made in USA would ensure quality. My Escalade was built in Texas. Perfect! Our Civic, not so much.
This car was delivered along with a Silver one. I purchased this one within 15 minutes of it being on the ground at the dealer. The silver one sold before I finished my transaction. All new vehicles are mostly pre orders. Covid has ruined a lot of things.
Put some aftermarket 17’s your road noise will go down substantially 18 are for looks. As for misalign panels and gaps all Hondas and acuras have that issue.
The dealership fixed the road noise. Drivers door had an issue with a seal. Im keeping the stock wheels for now. The dealership also fixed the alignment issue I had. Glad I bought from a solid place.

The Gen X was sharp and hot. Now the Civic just looks like any other bottom feeder. This is boring and uninspiring. AND it is slower and more $$$. When we saw this design, we rushed over and got two new Gen X's. Waiting for a less sedated looking Civic in 4 years, or it's back to Mazda, or Toyota.

The Sport Touring is only available in the Hatchback. The sedan has the Touring Option. However different front end and grill. The Hatchback in this video looks like the Sedan Si. Which looks sportier. Thanks for commenting.

@@lennygarrison6836 look at the sport 2L naturally aspirated with manual tranny. Turbos do shorten the life of engines and CVT's are not reliable

It was definitely higher. The dealership made that adjustment for me so it’s all good now.
Are your legs tight when you’re driving or is it comfortable?
I’m 6 foot.. and this thing has as much legroom as my Cadillac.
Are the brake lights LED as well? or just standard bulb like the signal lights?
Everything LED except rear turn signals. They are amber bulbs..

The Sport Touring has the Premium interior. Leather, Sunroof, larger infotainment screen.

The dealer fixed the noise issue. It was not properly sealed by rear view mirror.

This car was delivered along with a Silver one. I purchased this one within 15 minutes of it being on the ground at the dealer. The silver one sold before I finished my transaction. All new vehicles are mostly pre orders. Covid has ruined a lot of things.

Put some aftermarket 17’s your road noise will go down substantially 18 are for looks. As for misalign panels and gaps all Hondas and acuras have that issue.
The dealership fixed the road noise. Drivers door had an issue with a seal. Im keeping the stock wheels for now. The dealership also fixed the alignment issue I had. Glad I bought from a solid place.

Will do. A hatchback is rare with Covid messing up everything. Very limited. I believe mine was 1st one in southeast according to my dealership. The sales manager had some visibility on inventory. The Gen X was sharp and hot. Now the Civic just looks like any other bottom feeder. This is boring and uninspiring. AND it is slower and more $$$. When we saw this design, we rushed over and got two new Gen X's. Waiting for a less sedated looking Civic in 4 years, or it's back to Mazda, or Toyota.
There is a sport touring? I thought ''touring'' stand by itself, Honda knows how to trick people with all these options. Nice car and thank for sharing.
The Sport Touring is only available in the Hatchback. The sedan has the Touring Option. However different front end and grill. The Hatchback in this video looks like the Sedan Si. Which looks sportier.

No, the sport just stands for hatchback. All regular civic models get the word sport added to them if you get the hatch
@@shivamarya5225 only the sport and sport touring models are labeled “sport” for hatchbacks in the US. The LX and EX-L are not “sport” editions.
