All our hidden gifts is probably the best to start with because an ember in the ashes is a four book series and the third book really drags and struggles compared to the first two so unless you’re really committed to it, I’m not really sure you’ll be able to finish it quickly and still not dislike it for how long it took you to finish it This is my personal opinion a lot of people actually like this series, the third book actually being the most popular
I love all our hidden gifts! I’ve never read an ember in the ashes, I’ll have to put that on my list. (Also, if you haven’t read the as of now unfinished Abarat series by Clive Barker, it is amazing.)
This sounds like something I want to do. I like the idea of when I buy books I am going to pick those up and then everything will be read so having one last big book purchase
I usually buy books that I’ve read before because I want to have my library but I actually have like 1 book series that I own that I’ve never read which is the temperance Brennan series which is what the tv show bones is based off of if you’ve ever see. That
I’ve been meaning to read An Ember in the Ashes for so long now. You should definitely read it first so I know if it’s worth adding to the collection of twelve thousand books I’m currently reading
Important question: how do you sort your books? Correct me if I'm wrong but they appear to be sorted by colour, isn't that impractical? If you buy a new book do you look at it and go "oh, this book is more like book A but it has the same colour as book B"? How do you find anything? Do you memorize the colours of the books rather than the titles, authors, contents, etc.? I seriously wanna know because I've seen so many of these bookshelves that appear to hold books sorted by colour and I'm really confused lol
@Ezeekat if you want more bookshelves if your roof is high enough get the bed that is like a bunk but has a desk under but instead of a fest make it 3 shelves
I had a phase of reading a book on my lunch break. I picked books I half knew would be donated. It worked well, only it's taken two years to read other books cause I knew they would stay It's starting to hurt.
Ember in the ashes sounds like a really great title. Also, judging by the cover (I see no pun here) I'm guessing that it has a female lead which I enjoy. It gets tiring reading the typical fantasy with overly done hero tropes.
Can you recommend me some fantasy books to me? Nothing that's medieval Europe or anything like that. I have a really hard time finding books that i want to read cause i like fantasy, but when I try to look for fantasy, all I find is medieval Europe stuff.
I was about to say that you should read "All our hidden gifts" but all of the people in the comments are saying that you should start with "An ember in the ashes".😂❤
An ember in the ashes! The entire series is amazing

An Ember in the Ashes! I need to know if I should buy and read it😂
I loved the book! It’s a series and a series that I believe has a very satisfying ending. Very well done books

If you pick An Amber in the Ashes, which you should, be prepared to not sleep until you finish the series. You will NOT be able to put it down.
Feeling Ember in the Ashes. No reason, just a knee jerk reaction.
