We fit a discreet tailgate release button and extra storage in the Land Rover Discovery 3 - LR3

After failing to fit an integrated stove solution into my Discovery 3 tailgate, I've decided to create extra storage with easy access and fit a discreet button on the interior to release the lower tailgate. This could be spured off the existing loom but in my case I had to replace my old broken switch / button. This idea could be applied to an existing lower tailgate trim, you don't have tpo replace oit with MDF like mine but plenty of ideas here to get you thinking for a little winter project.

Wonder if you could have a go at upholstering it to make it look a bit more factory? Good practice for fixing head linings I suppose
