A cinematic exploration at the crossroads of Myth, Entropy, and Time
In autumn 2024, I undertook a creative retreat on the Greek island of Rhodes, settling in the small, unassuming village of Masari. It marked the final step in a much longer journey (escape time) through Greece. In this quiet sanctuary, I found space to explore new ideas, revisit past work, and envision future possibilities. Among ruins and weathered facades, I captured the atmosphere of Masari-a place where time, myth, and entropy converge.

About the Film
This video offers a contemplative journey through Masari in three scenes: the decay, the timeless streets, and an open horizon-all reflecting a personal dialogue with the past, present, and future.
Shot over the last two weeks of October 2024 with a Blackmagic BMPCC4K, I used a vintage Super Takumar f1.4 50mm (8 Elements Version) lens for most scenes, with wide-angle shots captured on a vintage Tokina 17mm f3.5 SL lens. A DJI Mini 3 Pro drone added aerial perspectives, while post-production was completed in DaVinci Resolve 19 Studio.
