Yes i love the marins. This summer i got over 1000miles done on my 93 Eldridge grade marin. Only replaced the rims. Stock 7*3 deore is so slick and well integrated.
Like it! I'm sorting out a '92 Bolinas Ridge bit by bit, into a sort of gravel/road/tourer, so I can see a need for the bull horns. Thought it was something we'd left 'back in the day', but I might be fitting a pair to mine.

Bar ends can be a real pain in wooded areas, for hybrids or show bikes why not, it's period correct. I always hated them but I had some as a teen because fast people had bar ends 😂
I put together a Marin Muirwood from this year and it rides like a dream. Such a fun bike.
