Hey Elena, great content. Just pointing out there is no language as 'Hindu'. Hindu/Hindusim is a religion in India. Many people who are Hindu speak several languages that range from Hindi, to Bengali, to Tamil & many many more. We are a diverse nation with a diverse culture and heritage. :)

@@BB-tr2iu to be so disappointed by a simple mistake is sad. Don’t put that much pressure on someone. Just because you visit an area for a week or 2 or read a book on a specific place that doesn’t mean you remember every single thing about the area. It could of been a simple mistake as there is 1 letter letter word difference between the words. Not trying to be rude just saying she is trying and that is all that matters. To say your sooo disappointed in her is a little far fetched. Be kind. Much love xoxo

I live in Astoria and I love it. I’m 0% Greek ha but it’s really a quaint gorgeous neighborhood perfect for young people in their 20s/30s and families. It’s also SO close to the city. Between the view at Astoria Park, the incredible food, proximity to Manhattan and LIC, and the overall vibe it’s honestly a wonderful place to live and visit.
I teach second grade and I’m literally using this video to enrich my unit on Ancient Greece! Thank you so much for bringing light to Greek culture and it’s impact ❤️🇬🇷

Elena! You should go to the Hudson river towns of Peekskill, Cold Spring, Beacon, and Poughkeepsie. As well as explore the Hudson Valley in general, with great food, nature, arts, and history. 45min to 2hrs on metro north from Grand Central Station depending on location.

At 2:31 in the video: I wanted to point out a misconception. A Hindu is someone who practices the religion of Hinduism. Hindu is not a language. Hindi is however a North Indian language.
Even though I wasn't born in Astoria, NY, but I strongly feel as my own hometown... God bless Astoria, NY... I'm mentioning NY everytime is because there's another Astoria also in Oregon..jijijiji
