I grew up in Washington Heights so it’s nice to see a UA-camr showcasing northern Manhattan culture, which is honestly so special and a really authentic part of NYC! So many people in other parts of Manhattan aren’t even true New Yorkers born and raised. But if you go north, you’re among some true native New Yorkers who are the backbone of the city!
This video helped me pick my NYC neighbourhood. Love this so much as an international student very far away from home it can be hard to just get a taste of that from so far, especially since the last year. This looks a little like home :)

I love the fact that you shared that you are of Iranian origin , many people of Iranian origin are very stigmatized due to movies and non-nuanced media coverage that activates racial stereotypes about people of middle eastern decent , and even though you acknowledge the fact that you are white passing, I still think its nice and of value, that you use your platform to offer a more diversed , positive and uplifting image of women of Iranian decent.
I am Indian. Having grown up in many different countries and amongst different cultures, I have always loved the feel of New York. The diversity is so electrifying!
