"WE ARE!!") Love your videos Bud! And always appreciating the time you take to inform Roofers, Customers, and DIY-ers about common roofing issues.....I goto approximately 2-3 customers homes a day for inspections or estimates; and it never ceases to amaze me the lack of craftsmanship or care in the world today....whatever happened to being proud of the work you perform? Just finishing a job and looking at it and saying, "It looks good, it's done right, and I did that!" Where's the pride???
This world has enough problems! ( I mean look at the Circus that runs our country!) The last thing we need is more wanna be roofers running around taking people's money and preforming shity work!
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK BUD!!

I’m curious to know what a quick repair like this might cost?
I've been roofing for 27 yrs. In my experience I've seen an extra nail shot into the top left corner of the shingle more than once. Why? I can't fathom the reason for that unless it is to make repairs to their "workmanship" more difficult. Any ideas? Keep up the quality work, reputation worth way more than a one-off easy payday.
So I had a few shingles blow off but on the they were next to the hip rafter caps. They look like the ones you are doing in the video but it’s the shingle to the right in my house and I was taking a carpentry course in school and we did shingles and I laid them out like I should but it didn’t go over the same that I have on my home. It’s not the valley shingles so it’s hard to explain but it almost looks like the full shingle is cut and at an angle maybe but it goes under the caps. I’ll see if you have a video of the same ones that I’m working on. Also what would look cool is a drone view of you working on the roof. I’m viewing from Fort Hood Texas.
If you have a picture of what you're talking about, send it to me on our Facebook page. I'll do what I can to help.
@@GrandRoofingInc so I found a pic on Google exactly of what mine is and I can see they are cut kinda like the valley is cut but I’ll send a pic of it to your FB now
❤ your work and explanation
Thank you!
Great video, you are the man, out in the rain working. Most contractors in my area won't come out on a nice sunny day.
Thanks 👍
The repairs were always my favorite of your videos. Loved this one, good tosee you doing them again.
You could take over the roof industry here in central Florida. 1400 sq ft roof they are charging $11,000 to $14,000 for a tear off. No roofer around here will do a roof over.
Watching from Cincinnati, OH. People in your area are lucky to have you.
Thank you for the video, from Scotland 🏴
I enjoy this type of video. I will be patiently waiting for a furnace vent install if I can't find one that you have already made. All your videos are pleasant tho.
Thanks for showing, Brian!

I am watching from close to joplin , near tamko.
Watching from Knoxville TN, What would a repair like that go for in your area.
I've done lots of repairs and I never feel good about pulling out the nails and shingling over the open nail holes if possible I'll put ice n water shield if not I'll pound in nails instead of pulling or put them back in if I have to remove And I'll fill holes with geocel I've seen enough moisture under shingle that I don't fully trust them
Those shoes; they don't make your feet smell
Boston, MA. What happens to the moisture which accumulated on the exposed roof while you were doing the repairs? (Not intended as a criticism -- I know almost nothing about roof repair.)
Hey there! From Texas. Which roof sealant are you using I didn't see it in your description. We get high winds here twice a year and we loose about 5 shingles every time. We need a good sealant to hold them down . We have 3 tab shingles and our roof is 16 years old and in good shape except for the tar strip under the shingles.
This one was just a cheap tar. I'll find a link to another video showing the primary sealer I use.

Where's your knee pads bro
Watching from Los Angeles California. I appreciate your videos. My question is what happens to the cellophane tape over the adhesive strip? Does the tar (is that what it is?) migrate through/around it to make the seal? I’ve read “don’t remove the cellophane.”
Stay warm, it’s been extremely cold all across the nation this year.
By the way, how old was that roof? I’m not sure how often homeowners keep extra shingles
