    I've been waiting for this review! Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I love word searches, too...they are one of my favorite :). Oh my, Unofficial Harry Potter Recipes - my daughter would love that book. This was a great review with so many wonderful supplement options. LOVE IT!!!!

    Thank you for the great review. The additional resources you brought in look great! Your son may like Radish kids. It's a subscription cooking service for kids. I think it can be each month he would get a recipe and all the ingredients and then he cooks the recipe. It's a great Christmas gift.

    I think my daughter would love this unit!!! She does a cooking class with a family friend. I could use this with my sons who can’t cook but kno kitchen safety. I make sure that they know that even though they have no desire to cook. We talk about kitchen based math at home when my kids are cooking or they walk into the room as I’m cooking.

    Thanks for this video! I had been hoping to use it for some home economics, so it was helpful to know that it's not really for that subject. I may still use it anyway.

      It’s a great unit and you could always add to it to make it work for Hone Economics.

      @@HomeSweetHomeschoolLife thanks!!! I literally just asked on the Facebook group if anyone has used it for home economics anyway 😉

    This was great. I love how you present. Based on content and organization, do you like GR or campfire better? And do you think the recipes are adaptable for a plantbased family?

      They are both so different that it’s hard to pick a favorite. Are you a part of Campfire Crew on Facebook? I know families in there have talked about adapting the recipes.

    You’re a good mama! I always ask my son if he wants to be recorded also and like yours….sometimes it’s a no. 😜
    How many campfire curr units have you done? Video idea for you: You should at some point, rank your units! Or if you don’t want to rank, choose your top 5!
    Love the create your restaurant idea!! My girls would love doing that!!! I still have this unit on my “maybe” list. Only maybe because we are moving at a snails pace this year for science already! Lol!! So I feel guilty that we aren’t going go to probably finish all the science units I bought. Oh well….but not sure I should add another unit. But I want to. 😜

    Waldock Way has lots of Who Was unit studies. I think some are free.

    Ashlea, I was wondering do y’all prefer Campfire or GR?

    • @HomeSweetHomeschoolLife
      @HomeSweetHomeschoolLife  2 роки тому +1

      That’s a tough question. To me, Campfire is extra curricular. They are more relaxed, hands on, and fun. They do not have worksheets to complete.
      This year we decided to alternate between GR and Campfire. After we do a heavy GR unit, we pick a Campfire unit.

    How many weeks does it take to complete the Professional Chef unit if you work through all the sections?
