Sad to hear the series isn't getting the traction you hoped for. I've really enjoyed it! Here's at least a second watch and a comment in an attempt to appease the algorithm ❤
Indeed. I blame the algorithm as I am subscribed to Anna and the Wideboyz, and this is the first one that I was offered. No notifications, no nothing from the previous ones,
@@andypughtubesame I didn’t get shown this on my feed despite being subscribed to the channel and watching and liking the previous. Only realized it was live as someone in my climbing group chat shared it
Loved the Thailand series, especially liked the segments highlighting all the people you met there, it brought an amazing sense of unity. Beautiful climbing there, hope one day I will have the funds for climbing trip so far away
can‘t wait to see the documentary! Love this series! Absolute favorite.

Thought this series was rad! Sad it is over but I look forward to more of your outdoor climbing adventures. I love the outdoor and sport climbing videos you make, hopefully the algorithm comes to its senses sooner than later.
Just here to yell at the algorithm for not pushing this final vid to me even though I watched the other two😤 I’ve enjoyed the series and am looking forward to the documentary! Would love to know a bit more about developing climbs; it’s not something I’ve heard at a lot about!
Daydreams it is really great that you want to know more about chossinering. Keep in mind that even if you never end up creating new routes we need people in the community who are willing to step up and maintain the climbs already in place too-it is just as noble a task as making new stuff.
I loved hearing a bit from the locals, and it's beautiful to see all these people working to develop these crags. Can't wait to try them, I'm very jealous!
Amazing trilogy! I always kinda knew about your channel, but never really watched your videos. Just stumbeled upon your channel again last weekend and decided to watch one vid. Ended up binging like 6 or 7 including this Thailand series haha
Loving the videos!! Looks like you had fun and a great destination. I am also curious about the bracelets, looks like everyone had them on. What is the meaning? name of them? I look forward to more of these awesome videos :)
It was incredible!! The bracelets are from the welcome ceremony that the village had for us when we arrived. Each woman in the village has a string, and whispers a wish/hope they have for us on our journey as they tie a knot into it. They then tie the bracelet to our wrists to signify we are joining their family, so to speak. As they fall off, the wish is supposed to come true :) really beautiful tradition 🥹
@@AnnaHazelnuttwhat an awesome tradition! You definitely should have explained this in the video! And if you did in the previous videos then sorry I missed it 😅😅
to answer your question, far from beaches, nightlife, tourist attractions etc. and competing with krabi which has it all a stroll from the beach. that said i will def check it out as i have family in the area and had no idea there was climbing there, and iam sure others will start going there as it gets more well known!
You can start any day! Me a 45 year old have just started bouldering a couple of weeks ago ❤ I love how low threshold it is. You can literally rock up, rent a couple of shoes, have a bit of an intro and start you own routes. No one is judgemental and everyone is friendly and there to enjoy themselves.
You have an audience that currently prefers indoor climbing. But if you post more outdoor climbs (because that what your heart desires to post), then maybe your audience will go with you eventually-and you may attract a new audience
Did you feel confident whipping on the bolts out there? Not sure how close this area is to the ocean... but I've heard some scary stories of Thailand bolts failing.
Whilst being aware that I might be accused of being racist here, there is something about the typical Thai body shape and cultural attitude that has me thinking they could be a real force in climbing in the future.
There are so many reasons to visit other parts of the world, not sure if this is a joke question? New cultures, people, food, environments, adventure, world views, schools of thought, etc.
@@AnnaHazelnutt apart from the environmental damage I think traveling a lot is a way of escapism. To quote Seneca: “The mind cannot find strength in its leisure unless it stops looking around and wandering around. To keep your mind within bounds, you must first stop your body from running away”

Thank you so much, I’m glad the people who are watching it are enjoying it as much as I hoped 🥲
@@AnnaHazelnutt Frankly its a shame climbing is not more popular, even though its one of the most human sports.

My hips yelled at me when you swung your leg casually into the wall at 1:23 - you two have such a good chemistry on camera, love it

Such a gorgeous scenery😍
Man, you have such a great style for outdoor climbing, very smooth. Also, crazy splits for the high foot? What?
Hahaha thank you! Splits heel rest above my head is one of my signatures 😎

I want to climb in Saudi first “then” heck yeah Thailand is on the list…beautiful place
I got curious about the cloth bracelet, is it some respectful sign in there or just for stabilizing the wrist?👀

Yes, the bolts are well maintained! This area is landlocked so it won’t get the sea ware

How did you end up collaborating with the crack climbing guru?!?
Why would you fly over half the world to do something you can do in 2 hours driving?
