Hey everyone! I'll be doing a live Q&A this Sunday during the film premiere! So excited about this one- not only was it my most difficult and proudest climb to-date, but I've also spent the last month or so working on the edit and can't wait for y'all to see it :)
The largely uncut version on the wide boys channel is one of the most beautiful climbing videos I have ever seen and will be my go to video for inspiring people about climbing. Great to see the story behind it here.
Super impressive you got the send! You had so many excuses to back down! "Damn the rock is wet from rain", "I kicked out some pro", "I got my lines crossed", "Don't remember the sequence".
The way your emotions structure the video is so insightful and lovely for me as someone’s who’s never gone beyond bouldering. It makes the reality of the send hit home. Huge congratulations
What a great effort! I’m most impressed by having the mental strength to go for it while knowing how bad the gear is, and having a high probability of falling off. I had already watched the footage on the WideBoyz channel, but I was still holding my breath watching this 😅
Absolutely amazing. Congratulations Anna! As a relatively new Trad climber, this is absolutely inspiring. What an incredible journey you've been on these past few years. Yes pieces popped, and yes Tom may have climbed it cleaner, but Tom has a couple decades of Trad experience before climbing this line, you had a couple 5.9's. My mind is truly blown.
lost the nut at 16:53 and then absolutely killed the micro cam placement after! thats some impressive mental fortitude. Thanks for sharing your experience
What a brilliant film, and achievement! The back-story, the build-up, the music, the suspense, the determined expression at 18.18... an emotional rollercoaster!
I maybe wept with pride at the end. Thank you for showing me girls can crush, girls can be brave, and girls can do hard things. You are the person I'm always pushing myself to be more like, and every climb you post is a new finish line I hope to cross. Thank you, Anna. ❤️
Anna, you are such an incredible climber, but even more so, your vibes are immaculate. I just love hearing your stories because they are so realistic but are often so positive and uplifting at the same time. I think so many people, even those of us who are not climbers, could take a lesson from this video to try our hardest, but also enjoy the journey instead of hyper focusing on the destination. 💛 you!!!
Absolutely amazing, Anna! This is my favorite video you've put out. I love your style of describing the climb, since most of us punters aren't ever going to touch it. It really made me appreciate how hard and sketchy the whole thing really is.
This was soooso emotional to watch! After having seeing the fall some time ago..Smiled, teared up, felt your fear and joy. Beautiful editing! Loved it!!
Huge climb and vid. I cry for the second times when you arrive at the top, and i' had already watched the Wide Boys one. Such a good effort and mental process! Thanks for the share and sorry for my bad english texte😉
This is an incredible achievement, such mental and physical strength and perseverance! As someone who has only been climbing for a year and dreams (but still doesn't dare) to try learning trad climbing, I found this incredibly moving and inspiring to watch!
The sketchiest part for me? 20:15 climbing up the loose soil and rocks. Definitely nothing solid there to hold on to, and it's slippery and loose. Maybe it's because that's where I almost fell off a wall after climbing the rocky section. I got to the top and had nothing to grab but wet grass and it kept coming up in my hand. I finally got a good grip and then my foot slipped on the grass. A root of a bush was the only thing that kept me from going down. Congrats on your climb and well done pushing past those scary parts. Simply amazing stuff!
That was unreal. Everything about it was incredible. So much love to you for being who you are. Whether you did it or not doesnt matter, but the fact that you were willing to try was what was so beautiful.
10:19 That's exactly why I insist that falling on gear is a necessary key to progressing in trad. Whenever I am having head trouble, I go out and take a few big whips, and it clears right up!
Me ha encantado mogollón esta peli Anna. La grabación, la narración, el buen rollo y ambiente que tiene. Muy bien hecho. ¡Enhorabuena por la encadenación!
Absolutely amazing climb aswell as video! You absolutely smashed it on all fronts on this one 🙂 thanks for putting these out and putting your heart and raw emotions into this
Great Job Girl. Slab is my favorite too, and I just took my first few falls on Trad lead the other week. You an incredible inspiration and thank you for sharing!!
Awesome job in so many ways Anna. Thoroughly enjoyed watching. Conquering that fear and continuing to push further. Literally crazy. Also, reaching out and making connections within the climbing world. Wideboys are dope. Super impressed and praying for your continued success. Keep it up dude. Also, was super cool to see you climbing a few months back in the gym. Keeping crushing🤙🏽
Idk how you had the guts to walk up to an E9 without having fallen on gear! I needed a couple whips before I could even consider pushing myself on trad (read: projecting your warmups, lol). Such a bold send!
I´m so impressed by you and this achievement! Both from a content creatory, a climbing and an emotional point of view! Thank you for sharing this, it was beautiful to get to experience this with you (sort of

Beautiful climb, amazing effort, and an amazing hard work editing !
Such an inspiration you are! Congratulations!
your time and effort on the edit absolutely paid off! such a wonderfully enjoyable video to watch. the level of detail was incredible too.
E9 is like R/X, especially X, in the US. I've climbed a lot of routes without a rope, because I was young and stupid. Now, I am no longer young
Great climb. Trad is the real deal 🎉🎉🎉
Good effort, well done. Brings back some good memories of that slab.
Thank you! An incredible line
A Dave Mac sighting! Legends, both of you!
I don’t always climb scary trad but when I do, my friends, that are the literal who’s who of British trad are supporting me. Awesome film, Anna!
Lol I don't often climb trad but when I do it's got to be at least E9
The largely uncut version on the wide boys channel is one of the most beautiful climbing videos I have ever seen and will be my go to video for inspiring people about climbing. Great to see the story behind it here.
The emotional relief at the end of the climb made me a little teary I’m not gonna lie. Amazing effort.
Excited Tom after his send is so adorable!
I just love Tom's face at the end of the route!
This is why we climb!!!
I came from 2022 to announce that this was the best climbing moment of 2021. Such an amazing send!
Fantastic video Anna! Great climbing and great storytelling!
Thank you so much!!

This is rad. That's the true spirit of not just climbing, but adventure. Thanks for putting this together!!!
