I've never commented before., but my husband and I watch all of your videos. Our oldest son died in January from cancer. He was 48 and he loved professional wrestling since he was around 8 years old. Since you mentioned you collected 80s wrestling, I totally understand that. Just brought back memories of Toys R Us and Hills and Kmart and Ames. All defunct stores now, but we went so often and often when wrestling figures and rings were affordable. When he died, he had tubs and tubs of this stuff. He played with a lot of it, but he also kept a lot in the unopened packages. We've had to clean his house out and we have been selling them at my brother's indoor flea market. You asked what has been selling well for your viewers and these have for us. Sad to sell, but we couldn't keep it all. Thanks for your wholesome family videos. God bless and prosper you.

Resale Rabbit started like that - traveling around the country, stopping at every thrift store, and finding all kinds of unusual things. But being a young and ambitious fellow, he went big and expanded his business. Kevin isn't like that, so we'll never see 18-wheelers delivering truckloads of items to the shed in his yard.
I have a buddy in Florida who buys and sells at flea markets down there. So many people die, the state is awash with merchandise from estates. In many cases, the heirs don't know what it is and just toss it - they want to sell empty the house and sell it. Items worth hundreds or thousands of dollars can be picked up by sharp traders who know their stuff.
SO TRUE I live by a big flea market. It really exciting to go to garage sales and estate sales and find something great to sale. now I would rather go to an estate sale and pay a little more... then spend my whole friday and saturday go from one yard sale to another and maybe finding 5-10 things.... my problem is ... I need to make more money to get more product. I am little lazy on listing... so I have gave myself a time out and I not allowed to shop until I list 100 things...
I am thinking about selling a lot of womens clothes for $30-40 to get rid of old inventory... wish me luck because I am not selling 10 shirts for .99cent... I will give them to the thrift store and write them off before I do that.

I bought a box of '91 Flintstones and '83 Smurfs glasses from Hardee's. 45 glasses in total. 33 cents a piece. ($15) I've sold 12 of the 45, for $60. Lot of fun.

I know how you feel when it come to sourcing! I live in western Missouri and it is rough November through March. We don't have many thrift stores. And the ones we have do have don't really have anything good. Estate sales do ok, but they are few and far between. Also around here economics is an issue with finding high value items. If you do find a high value item, such as a coach purse, they are typically worn out. I have expanded my picking travels this summer though and it has paid off in some ways. A death pile is essential for me or I would not have any inventory in December and January.

I have been selling a lot of Christmas items, toys, & stuffed animals. Whenever I travel, I always try to source. I enjoy seeing the different things.
I recently bought a storage unit for $20 and it had two papermate vintage pens in it that I listed and sold for $16 same day. Amazing!
We live about 10 minutes outside Philly. Eagles and Phillies stuff is very hot for us. I wish Regan luck with her craft fair. I do paper crafting in my 'free time' and have 3 craft fairs this season.
Another great video and advice! Sourcing has been a learning experience for me over the last year. I try to hit yard sales on Fridays and Saturdays when they are available and I've started going to our local flea market at least twice month. 3 of the vendors there have a large $1.00 table they put out each week and I've been surprised at some of the good items I've found on those tables. Not high end stuff but still decent profit. Our Goodwill and thrift store have raised their prices so much that it's really hard to find anything to resell but occasionally I find something. I found a Willie Nelson beer glass for $.99 at GW and it sold for $39.99 so I was really happy about that one. Love seeing how your children and wife are so involved with your business. Agree. I did find an old 80s far side comics coffee cup 1.99 sold for 20 plus shipping. Took 1 day! That was a fun find!
I have done very well with dishes, glasses, silverware, I feel people are adding plates to their celebrations and happy to gather again, I also sell artisan pottery and glass. Branching into jewelry because it’s small. But I do sell what I can make money on. Books to pillowcases. My death pile is mostly clothes
I think too many sellers balk at $10 dollar profit sales, but if you do 4,5,6 a day that's money! Yes, Florida has some awesome yard sales, give Pawnbroker pickers a look see...I have to growl at their yard sale videos! I do a lot of picking at a Amazon reseller store and do pretty good. Our yard sales are pretty sad. Goodwill and Mission stores also make up for a lot of my goods. Always learning from your videos! Thanks!

New to selling on eBay, I had a booth in a small town vintage shop for several years and just got tired of all things vintage. So, I took some of my inventory and added everyday current items and set up an online store. I have learned a lot from you and I thank you! Right out of the gate I sold quite a bit. Salad Master pots and pans, Merry Mushroom canisters, vintage Barbie, but now it seems to have slowed way down. I have an original Harvey seatbelt purse listed that has 52 views and 17 watches! But, no buyer. I have promoted, sent offers and nothing. It is interesting for sure. I learn something new everyday.
Upstate NY - Friday, Sat, Sun garage sales, Spring, Summer Fall.....and free piles after those sales.....$3 or $30 happy to get it

I really appreciate that you said you don’t always make the greatest off a sale sometimes $3 or $4 . I’ve been so frustrated lately cause that’s mostly what’s been happening. But at least somethings happening. I’ve had some good sales as well but the smalls have been big lately.

Thanks for another great video. Good idea about eBay gift cards. I never thought of that. Our most profitable sells on ebay recently have been hand painted Fenton. The most profitable sells before then were older toys, especially if I have the box they came in. I have not found a niche yet.

50 Cent items to pick? Lead pencils. Find those at desks at estate sales. Old plastic flower arrangements - candle rings
We don’t even try to source in our area anymore. It’s just over saturated with fly-by-night pickers. I wish we had the ability and had the resources to be able to fly to different states and go picking. But a majority of us probably 99.9% of the people here we don’t have that ability to just hop on a plane and go picking with friends.
But we will drive several hours away. It works. It’s great finding different stuff from different areas.

My area is full of pickers. Garage sales is limited to the mostly the summer months here and it is mostly estate sales where there is nice stuff but expensive as hell
I live on Maui. Probably the most geographically challenging places to source. We have one small Salvation Army (45 minutes from me) and one Goodwill (30 minutes away) And there's no road trips to other places without a plane. I do have year round garage sales and amazing church sales. I have an endless supply of Hawaiian shirts, Surf brands and Japanese brands. My Hawaiian shirts are flying out the door lately and I have a 100% sell through with both Volcom and Sanrio.

It was great to hear you talking about how you have to sell what you can find in your area. There are too many youtubers out there that are pushing to sell higher dollar items. Trust me I would love to, but there just ain't that much where I live. And it is always nice to hear someone that understands this I mean I challenge anyone to come and see what they can find here. Oh, should I mention the median income here is 38,000/year? Lol. Yes there are places in the US that are that way. But, if you are in those areas you can find a way, sell what you can find, try online sourcing. We can find a way to do it. And thanks for explaining that 👍

Cool video, I like your style! I'm the same way, I'll pick up something if it's cool and unique and I like it, even if the profit margins aren't exactly exciting. I think there's value in having cool items listed even if they're not home-runs, because it brings people to your page and they might browse around and purchase other things that they like.💡

I lucked out and ran across an estate auction where I was able to buy a bunch of new in box Cabbage patch and Barbie dolls and accessories. Avg cost $7 per item, been selling steady $20 to $30 per item. Nice.
Blow molds. Especially Christmas ones in New England they are a dime a dozen - people are getting wise to them but you can still make some really good money.
I sell Tupperware lids like crazy!! People buy them because theirs melted in the dishwasher. A bread and butter item.
If it makes a profit and you’re happy with it, that’s all that matters. Do your best with what you have. I often find that those who are most critical of others are usually not people who are doing well themselves.

Hi Kevin. Just a little history/finance lesson. RCA Corp. bought Victor Adding Machine & Voice Recording in June of 1945 in order to get the now famous "NIPPER" logo for their records. The dog who " listened to his master's voice" Victor then expanded the business of adding machines and other office machines. How do I know this? My friend from childhood in the early forties was the daughter of one of the company factories in Chicago. At the time of the merger, the employees if Victor were fearful of losing jobs. That didn't start happening until Texas Instrument started making calculators. Anyway, my older sister named her dog Nipper after the famous white pup with black ears.

However, in Europe the Nipper trademark remained the property of EMI Records. When EMI imported their records into the US, they had to cover up the Nipper on the label and the jacket with a sticker. RCA, on the other hand, used special record labels for records they wanted to export to Europe.
Hey man, I have been to your thrift stores many times. (Madison Heights, Lynchburg etc) I always find bangers in that area. Every time. Especially cool vintage. Now that LU has taken over Lynchburg, you should have no problem finding designer items as well.

We just sold a Peanut 1968 glass, we like rehoming things, even the cheap stuff. One month we tracked it 950.00 in free stuff from curb alerts, garage sale free boxes, trash etc.... we know it's slow moving and the algorithm doesn't like it "oh Whale" :) like you say it's what we like to do
I used to sell Mary Kay and had a lot of inventory. I finally started listing it all. I have made about $1,000 so far! I was quite surprised.
I don't usually pick up DVDs, but I recently got a large box of DVDs for $50- I bought it because there were some more obscure titles, and many were still sealed. I listed 21 of them last night (probably 1/3 of the inventory) and already sold 2 this morning totaling $85 (before fees), so I've already made a profit and have many, many more to sell- and list!
I think dvds are going to make a comeback from what I’ve heard people are so irritated with streaming services and them increasing prices all the time some people have said they’d rather just get dvd or cable again and at least that way they can enjoy a show without it being discontinued or whatever. So might be something to keep an eye out
@@crybabystylez I'm also shocked by how limited the libraries are for some of these big streaming services. For example, even the rental service provided by the big internet/cable provider in Canada is missing A LOT of evergreen titles. And with copyright rules on UA-cam, a lot of this stuff isn't as easily accessible as one might think. There's definitely money to be made.
On the other hand, a lot of sealed DVD's are absolutely worthless, so it can be a daunting and tedious niche to get into, but that's just the name of the game flipping in any category.

Florida may have more garage sales,etc., but the competition is much tougher too. Lots of resellers and it’s hard to compete when you’re up against so many early birds, some contacting the family the night before the sale. Not my style.
Taylor Swift. Was sitting on some of her high priced vinyl. I had some bills that needed taken care of and it sold for $$$ to cover the bills and extra left over.
I just sold a small piece San Francisco trolley cable for $125. I saw it at the Goodwill and recognized it immediately and bought it for $8.

I love my city, it's a small one, about 46k pop within city limits and 120k in the 'statistical metro area'. Within 40 minute radius I have 2 Goodwills, 1 Salvation Army, 1 St Vincents, plus 1 local church based rescue mission thrift. Each one has new stuff every day. Plus because it's a small city there's not much in terms of traffic.
We have goodwill but no others unfortunately.
But Grandma Helen can’t just buy “a new one” she may have sold Tupperware back in the day! I live in FarmVille America, Grandmas spare bedrooms are full of grandpas old snap backs seed company jackets and 1970s snowmobile suits. I had to realize “sell what I have access to” every region is unique.

I have the wooden letter blocks those have been doing really well one you UA-camr pickers mentioned that they are commonly sought I found a whole slug of them in the bins and have been selling them 5.00 ea... I'm pushing my Garfield items now and they are picking up... I talked to a fellow local reseller and she was surprised that the blocks were selling and she said that she just sold a whole basket full for 5.00 she was like great now I'm regretting it

Pawn shops may be good for picking now. One owner I know says his shop is full of items people didn't pick up. Lots of tools.
So I'm new to the eBay game . Bought a hepa filter for $3.99 after all fees I made $2.20ish extra. In my book I will now get a 100 of them and rinse and repeat. Sure I get a kick out of 30x sale I had but I'm ok making $2 plus on a low competition items.

More specific for our area (Virginia/NC) are the old town tags. They have jumped in price in the past two years. 1960s and older from smaller towns (Bedford Lynchburg for example) have sold for $30 - $80 and even more depending on age, condition, specific town etc. mid to late 1960s to 1973 do well because folks get them for their vintage car. In this video I saw your Rocky Mount, NC and thought “dang he’s got a $40 tag on plastic tub” lol. This is not something that will necessarily be a go out of your way and look for, but don’t pass on them if you see them for a couple of dollars at sales in your area or in NC.

Sourcing is tough in Michigan, due to the weather the best ways to source are Garage Sales but half the year we have snow and no garage sales anymore. Thrift stores are tough now, almost all of our thrift stores have Ecommerce Teams now that do pricing for the items based on eBay and Amazon, so when we go, we can find good used items that are prices competitively used and its no longer able to be picked up by a reseller. Estate sales are the only place I can find some things, if they don't know what they have or didn't price is correctly. Video Games are still my best seller but need to have Garage Sales to find the best ones lol

I dont have bins or thrift stores near me, or even really garage sales. It seems folks in rural areas source locally for cheap and sell online to a wide audience. It seems the opposite here in a big city. I think what I would need to focus on is searching wide on the net for deals and selling them locally here to 'richies' in a store. Im trying to figure out a way forward. Its so confusing. Thanks for all your help. It just seems like all the best advice seems like it wont work for me. Anyone have any suggestions? Hey nothing wrong with the tupper ware lids... as someone who collects trading cards, I've bought lots off guys where I'm getting 3k cards for 20 bucks , less than a penny a card.... If I sell a bunch of 2-5 dollar cards I got less than a penny a piece and all I have to do is put it in an envelope and go to the post office I'm going to anyway with other packages then I'm gonna cash these low end cards in for a couple bucks every time I can lol, it ALL adds up! Now I don't put tons of time into posting these, when I do it's more just for fun as I'm sorting cards and enjoying my hobby anyway... but none the less.. I like all sales! big or small!
I always had to figure if I wasn't making 3 to 4x the purchase price or at least minimum wage, whichever was lower, the item wasn't worth my time. Tag sales die dead here before Halloween and don't start again until May, only to keel over in July/August. No Friday sales since the 2008 Recession and few on Sundays...not that I can go since I'm in church. The thrifts have dried up - anything really good gets sent on line, where it sells for near retail. I used to spend $40/week in my local good will, often more. Now I can't even find $20 in an entire month unless you count coffee and candy coming in on Target pallets if you hit lucky. I feed chocolate to the church office. It's not worth going in other than having a flat place to walk. There is no Spenders or Sally or Vinnie's close enough to hit regularly. if at all. Church sales are hard to find too. Around here in the Winter resellers have to do private picks and estate sales, or buy on Marketplace or similar.

Haha. I always have seller regret when I sell something of my own. Sold a Crystar action figure. Regretted it and bought another. Sold that one too and regretted it. I got my eye on another one right now so there is a chance that this process may repeat itself yet again 🤣🤣
