    I want the girls to take heed to the fact that two MARRIED WOMEN WHO HAVE BEEN MARRIED FOR A DECADE PLUS, are telling women NOT to operate in desperation. I hope the girls are listening, cause that'll preach.

    The difference between "love bombing" and "protector" is TIME. Discernment is helped by taking the time to get to know someone. This advice is for me.

    I’ve already commented but I have to say, you guys are the ONLY podcast/commentary I’ve seen so far that gets it! It’s not that she ignored the red flags, it’s that she actively forced herself to ignore them so that she could have that white picket fence dream.

    • @kimberleyjones3757
      @kimberleyjones3757 10 місяців тому +3

      Because she reallllly tried to make sure that she could confirm things with her own eyes. She TRIED to do her research. She wasn’t perfect, but she wasn’t just blindly in this relationship. I think she just ignored her instincts in favour of the “facts.”

      One of her videos she said... they both married each other out of fear. He proposed to her because he was scared that she would leave him after a year and he knew marriage was away to get her. And she said yes to the proposal because she feared being alone.... That loneliness feeling is what made her. Move him in after knowing him for 2 weeks.

    Reesa is a prime example of what happens when you ignore red flags because of desperation!!! I don't agree with the person who exposed him for clout. That wasn't her business to do & she didn't think about the consequences to the other people who would be impacted!!! Just because it's entertainment to her, it's others' real lives!!!

  • @NishaNew
    @NishaNew 10 місяців тому +51

    This woman def deserves grace and not harsh judgement because it’s so easy to say what “we won’t do as a commentator”. Although this woman may have ignored some red flags as we all have at some point in our dating history she did make an attempt initially to vet the guy she thought she did her due diligence coupled with her religious beliefs I can see how one can be taken advantage of in this way.. what sucks is how her trust in people will change but more importantly something I don’t think that’s discussed enough is the loss of trust she will have in herself because of falling for this dude.

    • @tigerlilly9038
      @tigerlilly9038 10 місяців тому +3

      See..she shouldn't lose trust in herself. "Herself" i.e. her gut aka her intuition *TOLD HER FROM JUMP* but she chose 🗣 *SHE CHOSE TO IGNORE HER GUT* . I am not judging her just stating a *TRUTH*

    • @NishaNew
      @NishaNew 10 місяців тому +2

      @@tigerlilly9038 the trust in self becomes lost because she initially did investigate and found nothing then ignored flags that were there.. it creates a contradiction of feelings hence a loss of trust in self/judgement not in intuition because she followed her intuition initially and found noting… when she followed her intuition the 2nd time when she got the right social it led to the truth 🤷🏽‍♀️

      @InspiringYoungLady 10 місяців тому +3

      Thank you. I cringe ar people's self righteousness about her choices. We don't know her entire story, upbringing etc. Most humans have ignored some red flags. And there have been stories of people meeting their person, thing moving ultra fast ans 40 years later they are still together and happy. I don't recommend moving that fast, but it doesn't take a stupid person to be tempted to believe in a fairy tale (especially in Covid time, unprecedented circumstances, no ability to move freely etc) She is truly a child of God because that man could have use his charm to scam her out if her money. She was super strategic and smart I the way she tried to get to the bottom of it. She got enough pride to actively look for better job to not being dependent on him. Her story is a testament to the fact that despite the enemy cunning ways, God protects, redirects and bless his children. Now she is about to make her childhood dream come true and she has blessed tother women with her testimony. You go girl !

    Yeeeah I wouldn’t be co-signing for a thing. Finances are the number 1 reason for divorce and she opened the abyss by going forward with a bad financial decision, knowing exactly how her brother is might I add because we know our siblings and who we can/can’t trust with certain things, and now expecting her husband to be captain save a h0e. I’m sorry. You’re just gonna have to deal with the repercussions of your actions. Be thankful you were approved for a car at all, or wait until you dig yourself out of this hole and then try again for another car, and take this on the chin as a learning lesson.

    33:37 Totally agreed Melissa! I said the same thing listening to it. She mentioned a lot that things felt off but because she was ignorant in a lot of areas, she talked herself down. Always follow your gut.
    55:46 I agree with the husband. I would see if she couldn’t get a car at all but we’re talking a 21’ vs 24’… I wouldn’t throw it in her face but take the 21’ and make better choices in the future. I don’t think it’s worth a big argument.

    He’s not even cute ain’t no way however comma 😂 I’ve been with a pathological liar and narcissist. It’s so easy to get caught up after your feelings are involved. I wasn’t manipulated to the point that she was but he was “churchy” he would use the Bible against me! I’m saying all of this to say I’m so happy she only spent a year & half. My narcissist had a 13 year run!!!! UGH!!!! But God! My career was soaring and my home life was failing. He was jealous of my son I could go on & on but I’m traumatized that I did this to myself. I allowed it looking for love (daddy & mama issues) I have to be transparent as I comment and I’m still healing almost 5 years later. I’m praying for her 😊

    *"BRADLEY"* sounds like a made up darn name!!! 😂😂😂. Dude is siiiiiick. 39:13. My opinion is controversial about the woman who found Legion. I think she is not a villian, once RT put it out there: you cannot control who uses it for good or evil. Also once she posted Legion's photo, she should have said *nothing in response to critiques or anyone,* the same way, THE SHADE ROOM, DAILY MAIL, TMZ or any other gossip rag would of handled it. *I also think she wanted fame & clout of first find,* so this, negative backlash, goes along with it, so take it and HUSH.

    Distension and gastro-oesophageal reflux are the most common causes of hiccups, ie acid reflux

    Im glad people were able to move past the hiccups. I was more or less invested on the end result. I kept going back for more. Kinda like that church song, "I believe I'll run on and see what the end is going to be."
    Before I knew it, I was through them 50 episodes in no time.
    Apparently, her sharing what she went through is causing the talk that's needed. We have no idea how many women this may have touched and at the same time, I hope parents sit down and share with their young daughters. One thing I liked about Reesa Teesa is SHE WHOLEHEARTEDLY TOOK ACCOUNTABILITY for ignoring the red flags. All of what happened to her was destined to be. I mean just look how it blew up. I wish people would stop criticizing her.

    People really have this holier than thou “That could never be me!” complex. Like what ever job this man had, he was using it to FUND HIS LIES…. There was effort and strategy put into his manipulation. This could happen to literally anyone.

    We've all been a fool and fooled. This is catastrophic though. I do agree that a lot of this is due to the pressure and centering of marriage over self-esteem and self-actualization to trust yourSELF and save yourself rather than stay and save face
