Thank you for sharing these simple, but very effective ideas with us. I have been noticing your combination of necklces that you wear in your videos. I think it looks very stylish and modern, but loved what you said on this video about how to wear pearls. I am going to try mine now with some other necklaces, and leave the matching earrings for another outfit. I would love for you to do a video on prints please..🕶💄👜
🎉 On your birthday! Would love more tips on choosing eyeglasses or a link to someone who does regarding us older gals trying to stay stylish. Thanks for all you do!
Another way to wear a scarf without bulky volume around the neck is to fold into a long tube and just drape it so that it hangs on either side of your neck. It creates a vertical line. Looks especially good just barely tucked under a blazer or jacket. It looks simple and casual and modern - unlike the elaborate folds and poufs and bunchy look of tied scarves.
Happy Birthday...being from the OG city of classic style now called Old Money Boston MA, we luv our scarves worn high and we luv our pearl sets. Nobody thinks it looks aging ...its the Old Money look. Prints on the top...ok but prints on the bottom might make you look bigger. Fashion is fun thanks for the advice.
Thank you for amazing tips about hair, scarves, glasses, I have found the perfect frames from Moscot and they ship worldwide too, the quality is very strong
I’m slender but have a genetic double-chin, it doesn’t go away even if I’m only 80 lbs. I was surprised when my dentist did one of those new 3D images of my head, there’s no fat there at all, it’s more like a thickened muscle, my whole family has it. I found that high, tight turtlenecks are very unflattering with this feature. I do wear a lot of silk neck scarves, but just because I love them, not to hide my neck, which is pretty ideal - slim, long and columnar and still great skin. I’ve worn scarves since my early 20s, so for forty years, trending or not. I just love the color, pattern, femininity and elegance they add to my simple, solid-color one- or two- color outfits. Plus, the silk protects my sensitive neck skin from itchy wool, even cashmere, sweaters and dresses in the cold season.
It’s all depends how you wear them, I have nothing against scarfs. They are many ladies creating unnecessary volume in their chest- close to the face area. This can make u look older , especially if the scarf doesn’t not match your skin tone.
It’s interesting that everything that tends to age you has to deal with the neckline/ area around the face…Necklaces, hair, prints near your neckline, eyewear
I do think classic strands of pearls, single, double or triple, do have an “older look”. I love pearls, but I choose pieces that combine them with gold elements, they look more modern. My 30-year old pearl and gold station necklace and unrelated simple gold and drop pearl earrings are my most-worn jewelry pieces, they look great with everything.
Happy Birthday! Enjoy your trip. I always v love all your style tips.
Thank you so much!
Please make videos for plus side women.
Could you please do a video on choosing eyeglasses? For our colouring? Face shape? Haircut? Thank you ❤

I’m perfectly happy to be 63! Even if I look it, our society is too obsessed by youth-worship. We mature people still run the world.
I am 58 and never wear prints, I wear scarfs, earrings or necklaces to make my outfits interesting😊
Hi, Ella. Thank you for your lovely advice! I am 68, and I, too, love my age! Being old is wonderful and I would not trade my life with anyone!
Greetings from Vilnius. Your style lessons are very valuable. Thank you
