I love how everyone assumes that she's here to replace Thermite. I'm pretty sure Ubisoft haven't forgotten he exists, and have most likely made her ability actually different to Thermite's. I'm going to take a guess that they're actually smaller holes than Thermite's ability, therefore you're unable to jump through the holes.

what is the damn point of making a small hole of a reinforced wall? no point, whenever you try to peek, if the defender aiming at the hole, you will easily get killed straight at the head
That's the equivalent of saying "What's the point of Ash's ability because they're going to be aiming at the door/window she shoots at". Of course there's a point of making smaller holes, especially if you use team tactics and don't play like a moron. I'm not saying that's definitely her ability either; I'm just saying everyone is too quick to neglect Thermite, but we have to idea what her ability actually does besides damage the reinforced walls in some way.
Ash's ability does the same job at a well placed grenade, or just a satchel charge, but nobody says her ability is useless, do they?
The R6S community just WANTS something to complain about at this point.

Does she fire 6 Projectiles or 3? I see 6 when she fires and they only show 3 on the wall.
Does it breach on impact? Well, Thermite can still put his charge and blow it up whenever. Basically, like Ashe but for breaching metal.
People keep complaining that she's much too similar to Thermite's breaching special.
Keep in mind that when you breach as Thermite you're tearing down that spesific fortify wall (making a big square hole)
What if I told that Hibana might actually make a large HORIZONTAL type of hole, wich basically turns the fortified wall as cover for the offense team and not just a entrance....

This looks like it could pass for an operator mini trailer like all the basic ones had. But then again, if you add it for one pair of DLC operators, it wouldn't make sense. You'd have to make videos for all the old ones as well..

for future dlc an airport would be a sick map like mw2 also an attacking operator who could hack cameras would be cool especially in an airport cause there would be lots of cameras meaning you'd have to think twice before shooting them. location could be anywhere but since I'm australian melbourne or sydney airport would be really cool
observe it shoots 6 not 3 so in theory she can create a hole large enough to be vaultable in reinforced walls

Her gadget will only makes holes no bigger than shotguns do, they're only gonna be peeking holes. So she's Thermite that create a lot more angles for the defending side to worry about but you can't breach in from them; she's Ash that creates smaller scale holes over distance but if you don't use them on the reinforced wall then she's just a downgrade version. Plus those cherry blossom shaped sparkles represented their spirit well, and the video isn't visual correct, I'm sure she's going to be a new nice looking female attacker like I am expecting for a long time.

I'd like to point out that many people haven't noticed.... and jumped to conclusions.... do note she fired that something at the inside of the reinforced wall rather than the outside part like thermite. Maybe it does something else...
I feel like her explosives will only create kill holes, or holes that aren't big enough for operators to vault/fit through. so it's probably not rip thermite lol
