Agoraphobia: Fear of places and situations that might cause panic, helplessness, or embarrassment. Agoraphobia is an anxiety disorder that often develops after one or more panic attacks.
@@cadenbrown7407 it is actually caused by a fear of not being able to easily leave difficult situations. Though crowds and big spaces often are associated as main triggers, it is far more complex than that.
I developed Agoraphobia in middle school and I’ve been struggling with it for years now. Now in college, this song helps me cope. It helps muffle the oppressive fear. It’s a sanctuary.
@@everybodylovesrayman467 yeah! people often call it voice cracking for some reason, voice cracking is the unintentionally shift of the pitch in someones voice, this is very much intentional. I feel like people should refer to it at pitch spikes (or yodelling) because of how it would look when the notes are written on a scale.
I hit the notes, but at what cost? The cost of my throat getting dry, constantly running out of breath, and getting strained a lot faster. 'Twas worth it.
i'm so glad i found this. i'm not diagnosed with agoraphobia, but i felt everything in this song. as if it was written for me. the only difference is i WANT to go outside. i want to leave and go places and do things. but i just can't because it makes me panic to the point where i'm terrified to go anywhere at all. i've been trying to get help for years and i even force myself out, but so far i have no progress to show. this song makes me feel calm and not alone. :)
Hey, Jade. As someone who’s struggled with undiagnosed agoraphobia for about 7 years, your comment resonates with me. I’m my heart, I’m a traveler & I want to experience the world. But because of what I’ve been through in the past, I can’t, because anytime I try to leave the house I’m filled with such a tangible dread and panic, so I’ve given up on it temporarily. Please, if you suspect you’re agoraphobic, keep trying to get out and get diagnosed so you can get your life back. You deserve a life full of adventure & one that isn’t riddled of panic and fear. I send you my solidarity & support. It’s really tough, but you’re never struggling alone. 💓
I don't have agoraphobia that I know of but I have severe anxiety and social anxiety I just discovered this song and it's so comforting. I relate to it. I try to avoid people and crowds of the sorts. Parties, social places, etc. I get anxious and to the points I have to leave. My social battery runs out quick in these situations and I feel like I can litteraly pass out. I even struggle maintaining real life friends because of it.
Bro I know what you mean, My social anxiety has gotten better but it got to the point that I was celebrating my friend's birthday and I couldn't order a lemonade. My friends celebrated once I did
I haven't gone in public in years. I cant listen to this song without crying. Quite a powerful song, love Autoheart! Thank you for creating this beautiful masterpiece so us agoraphobiacs (is that a word?) can cope. Very, very, amazing song!
I know I'm asking a lot- but this song has seriously helped with my terrible panic attacks the past few months..could you make an hour long version of this? I get scared to turn it off
Until someone makes a 10 hour version, if you're on PC, right click the video and click "loop." Should be automatic. If on mobile, try making it in a playlist and clicking redo on that. Spotify or similar can replay the same song over and over too. I get it, Be Calm by F.U.N. is my go to loop song.
mobile now has a loop option when you click on the three dots (or at least some versions of youtube. I'm not sure if it's on all versions) so you can use that to keep it going too
Autoheart music is my number one get up and dance thing. like AAAJSJSAMKAA their music to me is literally the definition of beautiful. it's so incredibly soothing to me but also can make you feel excited and want to get up and dance and have fun like AAAAAGGH IM CRYINGGGJDJJSJS Edit: this song though specifically hits in the heart it will always be one of my favorites Agoraphobia is something that's been around for me for so long.
My parents don't think I have it but they dont see me in the mornings when im hyperventilating on the floor because I feel so trapped and panicked because I have to go to school
God, it's been a month since I came to school. I feel so guilty because I'm disappointing my parents, but I'm so tired of crying after coming home from school. My grades are good but everyone's tired of me going Hermit Mode every once in a while ..
Casual fun little story time lol: So I was uncultured, and had like no clue this kinda music existed- UNTIL a lovely crush introduced me to a new freakin world- when I say I like the kinda music someone listens to, I'm either being nice or TOTALLY interested- in my case- I've found new music to obsess over with Them 😌
As a 25 y/o this has become my new obsession. Along with Here(Alessia Cara), Numb Little Bug, and Precious(both by Em Beihold) I haven't found a better song that describes me so much.
I cant function any more due to agoraphobia. Didn't even know what it was until i was 4 yrs deep in and struggling so bad i could and should have been committed 😢
Agoraphobia:
Fear of places and situations that might cause panic, helplessness, or embarrassment. Agoraphobia is an anxiety disorder that often develops after one or more panic attacks.
Actually more accurately its the fear of large open spaces or crowded areas
@@cadenbrown7407 it is actually caused by a fear of not being able to easily leave difficult situations. Though crowds and big spaces often are associated as main triggers, it is far more complex than that.
I understand. Its alot of thinking/doing...
I feel like I just lived through a whole play and im left suddenly in the audience with the lights off when it ended
Autoheart songs are criminally underrated :(
YES! THANK YOU!!!
Super Agree!!!! Underrated....
My twin sister just told me to listen to them this past week when I went down to visit for her wedding. Had never heard of them
City of dust got me into them, I just don’t like some of their songs as much as it though.
EXACTLY!! THEY NEED MORE ATTENTION

I feel like I might have it but I have no idea..I'm just confused maybe.
hope you're doing better now.
I love the ✨tasteful✨ voice cracks. Gorgeous.
It's yodeling. Very tasteful indeed

Me too. While simultaneously going 45 miles an hour :)
Me a tenor: i see no problems here
i'm so glad i found this.

I've had Agoraphobia for many years and it's kind of nice to have a song named after it
Honestly the singer is amazing.
Ours Poetica introduced me to this! I couldn't be more thankful.
thank the god that i'm not tho only one! i'm re reading Ours Poetica again and i'm getting flashbacks with this song!
OHHH FELLOW OURS POETICA READER!!@
@@GenevireReal! Im praying chapter 13 comes out 😢

I love how the amount of views vs likes shows how its people listening a whole bunch of times
This song makes me feel grateful and at peace
When I first heard this song : oh this is a nice song 🙂
Me now that have developed agoraphobia: oh shit this hits hard now

mm this made me realize how close to breaking apart at the seems I am. It's not agoraphobia, but it sure as hell is depression.
I can’t get enough of these songs since I discovered him yesterday
Your voice is beautiful it makes me wanna sing along and the pitch change oh my god love it
This song has the same effect on me as Agoraphobia by Deerhunter does. They both hit hard now that i have developed agoraphobia

Couldn't have said it better! Their music is extremely beautiful.
i felt that.

I dont know how but i felt every part of this song and I struggle each day to leave my house.
My counselor recently diagnosed my with agoraphobia, and now I know why I related to this song so much lol

What a Beautiful song!!! I feel this way a lot ❤️
i think about him. it never goes away.

I first saw the lyrics first and thought for sure this was a rap

I'm not crying you're crying

While extroverts are being famous and having their own place in society we are known to our friends and family only. That is disgusting.
One of my favorite songs my ex ever shared with me. 'Tilda, I love you still.
Yes
…. Yeah 💔
okay but are we not gonna talk about how he pronounces agoraphobia wrong
It's probably a stylistic choice to make lyrics flow better
Listening while struggling to leave the house
I cant function any more due to agoraphobia. Didn't even know what it was until i was 4 yrs deep in and struggling so bad i could and should have been committed 😢
I can't believe I found this song through minecraft fanfiction.
