My Plaid is coming with these installed.
Its only the pads that are new. Same number of pots front and back.
I was curious about calipers, are they upgraded (eg bigger) or just red paint ?
@@khoen calipers are the same. Rear ones have a bigger cover but same size. It’s just the pads that are new.
How much did you pay for the calipers + pads?

Plaids just started being delivered with them installed. Should be able soon from Tesla hopefully. If not I’m sure you can eventually contact an auto body shop that has the ability to purchase parts from Tesla.

@@silver1990300 a source that isn’t available anymore. So hopefully eventually from a service center or auto repair shop.
Why change the calipers when the pads are really the only part that makes difference as far as high temperature brake capacity?
I was given them to try out, so I did.
The trade off is they will eat your rotors faster.
Is the rear screen plug and play?
Yep! Very easy to install

Hi! the rear screen can be ordered and sold over the counter from Tesla Service and even installed by Tesla service.

@@EliteAutospacare those I was given by a source that is no longer available. But I assume it will be available for sale or through an auto repair shop eventually.
Do the brake feel better?
They feel the same, but I’m not getting the high temp brake warning as often as I would from a couple stops from hitting 130ish.
