There is a very cool experience like that for the quest 3. Search "Astra Review Quest 3" here on youtube. It turns your room in a spaceship and you travel through the solar system and it includes a teleporter for beaming on Planets and moons. Astra is not very long but sitting in your living room and looking up through a great glass window in space is awesome.
im waiting to see what Black Friday has in store for the MQ3 but i'll definitely be buying one very soon. Good time to get into VR and learn how to use everything because its definitely going to be more mainstream. I think by MQ5 generation, everyone will be using VR.
Yeah, I think you'll see some good deals. Although, the 512gb model was just discounted from $649 to $499 and it comes with the new VR Batman game free. Great deal IMO. In the meantime, I do suggest looking at 3rd party head straps for better comfort. The one in the box is functional but not ideal.
Ok so I never used vr in my life and want to get quest 3 mainly for watching youtube and movies. So I wanna know is the picture of the videos cristal clear like you are watching videos on pc or is it blurry? When Im watching videos like this one showing us all these apps like netflix and youtube vr it looks sharp but I have a feeling its because its recorded and watching on computer. So I wanna know is it like this when you wear headset or is it blurry a little bit?
It looks pretty good to me. But for some reason Netflix does not run natively in app, and has you open a browser. It’s a compromise, but for the AR/VR content, it’s a great device. You might want to consider Nreal glasses if you mainly watch videos and Netflix.
Well if it helps, when vr initially came out, good luck reading words or working with office type apps. But now days you can use your q3 for doing work on pc. You can comfortably read words docs etc. Sp when it comes to watching content on things like you tube and such...your likely to enjoy it provided you have a decent speed on your internet provider. Hope that helps
Hey hey, thanks for your question. When you first open the app, it will prompt you to survey your area by looking around the space. It uses a mesh system with the depth sensor and AI to identify things in the room. The TV, sofa, and tables were automatically recognized. In some circumstances, you can manually adjust items in your room as needed. Hope that answered your question. 😀
He seems to have used image stabilization on the video after recording, before upload. He may have thought the original was too shaky. UA-cam offers a much better stabilization option after uploading in my opinion.
I’d probably say it’s about 7.5 out of 10. The immersion is pretty awesome though since it feels like it transforms your space. I can only imagine how the tech with advance with time. 😉
I wish my dad and grandad had the chance to experience this VR tech. RIP both of them
Awww…tech is crazy these days. Thanks for that comment. Very reflective and I’m sure they are missed. They would have been amazed.
Would like this same developer to do space with the options being flying next to big planets, etc.
That would be amazing! I wouldn't mind being on a planetarium with the space view "windows" 😜
there is a new mixed reality game out just like that, it just recently released. Its called starship home

Just caved and bought a Quest 3, should ship tomorrow and be here mid week, still using my Quest 1 so hoping for a huge upgrade in quality
It’s worth it. Hope you will enjoy it.
Yeah, went from rift s to quest 3 and I can say that it was a crazy great upgrade, I really hope you have a blast 😁
@lestat106 oh I'm sure i will, it's arrived in my town now so they'll deliver tomorrow, hard nights sleep lol
Buy exorcist legion for it, it's great.
@lumo7461 I'll check it out, just unboxing it all now even though it came like 10 hours ago lol, just got time
I've had this since my Rift S. They've come a long way, and I can't wait to see if they do more!
This game is hands down the BEST app I have ever bought. My kid will spend the whole battery life sometimes b/c hammerheads are their favorite.
Awesome 👍
Dang, I knew I should have picked this up when it was on sale last time.
Nice video! I enjoy your vr/ar content
Thanks my guy! I’ll try to post more of that type of content. 😉
I bought this weeks ago, and it's one big trip. My living room windows are permanent tanks, much better view :)
Very nice!
That is so cool. I have to check that out!
Nice demo. I'll give this a try, before I buy that submersible ticket.
Haha... You and me both. Under the sea ticket.
A freddy krueger game with this tech would be amazing

If you push I think the B button it drops food and the shark will eat it. It’s one of the buttons
That’s pretty cool. 😊
They need to implement this into quest rooms
I know right!
Yo you’re hilarious 😂 i was 💀 the whole time.
Thanks bro for the nice comment! I nerd out on this stuff. 😂
Hey man, just found this channel. You should try starship home. Insane mixed reality game highly reccomend.
I'll check it out!
Starship Home is really cool and is a full game. It’s totally worth a buy!
Oh nice! Heard good things about it. Will have to check it out. 👍
Omg! ❤

In VR is like 1080p on 32 " monitor. Doesn't matter.. VR is about immersion
@@theloner6063 Yea I bought it yesterday and it is amazing. And the picture is clear.

My wife will love this
Check out the adult content in the quest 3
Bruh
Wow that's like being inside Bioshock!
Haha….never thought of that but sooo true. What a great game. I may have to revisit it. 😉
Is it free or payed app?
AR is what makes me want to grab an quest right now 😮
Did this game ever get a Q3 update?
Love the app but I couldnt help but laugh out loud at that sound effect in the UI that sounds like a mean fart.
is the tv automatically gets recognized or you have to set up your room before using this app

any idea what's causing the black bar when you turn to the left?

I think it's from the headsets stabilization feature when you record video when enabled. Otherwise it tends to become a bit of a jittery mess. 🙃
@@DanDoesTechStuff try using UA-cam's built in stabilisation and see if that fixes it, it's kinda distracting to me
i wonder, from 1 to 10, how realistic daoes it look? (10 is *REAL*)

@@DanDoesTechStuff it is really impressive thinking where we are getting. Can't wait to receive mu q3. cheers
Do you need a PC?
No PC needed. The app runs natively on the Meta Quest 3 headset.
Chill but still just a tech demo ..
It's called an "app"
They are different to games.
Absolutely, but what a tech demo. 😀
@@DanDoesTechStuff
Tech demo means It's interesting for 10 minutes and costs 10 euros.
And that’s only if you’re new to VR/AR.
Yeah...so interesting.....one reason not to buy a question 3 3.....💤💤💤
