As a woman, I love your videos and workouts. While I have enjoyed some of my female instructors, some really don't understand the muscle issues that come with working a "blue-collar" job and being hard on your body/joints day in a day out. Your lack of background music and fluffy commentary is refreshing. Thank you!
I agree. My son told me about this and I love this. This is better than any I have seen. I took yoga instructor training years ago and it was no where near as detailed and easy to follow as this. Thank you.
Woke up today and said "I am sick and tired of hurting every day," and here I am. At 54 years young, 35 pounds overweight, and having had double hip replacement this year, I have never felt worse. Going to try this for 90 days and hope I can get back to life that feels normal again.
So happy to have you here! We look forward to hearing more about your journey. If you're looking for a more organized program with built in tools to keep you on track, check out our $9, 6-week Strength Foundations Challenge: manflowyoga.com/strength-foundations-challenge-special/
Thank you for the work out. I'm a 47 year old man who works from home and sits at a desk all day. I was looking for something low impact that I can do at home with minimal equipment to invest in. This a good challenging work out that will be on my daily rotation. I also wanted something i can do through out the day while taking breaks and this checks all of those boxes. Thank you, can't wait to check out your other videos
We really appreciate the feedback hector! Our channel is just a preview of all the content we create so if you're planning to make yoga a major part of your life, you should consider a FREE 7 Day Trial to our Member's Area. We also have a Labor Day Sale going on right now: manflowyoga.com/seven-day-trial/
I’ve found that every time I do yoga or a yoga class it’s always totally different. My mother taught yoga when I was a child so I was used to doing it. I love these videos because I find them challenging and also relaxing. I’m not interested in learning all the poses and becoming a yoga specialist, I’m really happy to follow, be guided, and come out if it feeling physically and emotionally better 😊
I have been doing yoga for almost 2 years. I really appreciate you going slow and explaining. I had a brain injury 23 years ago. I am weaker on my right side and I have to think before using my right muscled for things like walking and eating. Yoga has helped me start to flow better and not think so much,
I always come back to this workout when it's been a few weeks or months of no bodywork (i.e. due to travel, work, life, injuries). It's refreshing and my body appreciates this everytime.
I've been suffering from knee pain and back pain for years, I've been doing some of your exercises for a week and I am feeling the difference. I've tried other exercises before but it's the first time I see a considerable improvement. I am hopeful now. I can't thank you enough, Thank you so much
Todd M thank you, Todd!! Glad you enjoyed this workout. Be sure to check out the rest of the videos in this free yoga for men series available on my UA-cam channel :-) UA-cam.com/manflowyoga
I've practiced yoga off and on for approximately 10 years mainly to increase mobility throughout my body for the other activities I enjoy. Those activities include mountain biking, swimming, White-tail deer hunting, and many other activities. I agree, most of the content available is by women for women. YES, this is absolutely helpful for men. I look forward to practicing more of them.
Thank you for the great input! While we encourage everyone to try MFY, it was created with men and their specific needs in mind. For even more free content be sure to visit our site: manflowyoga.com/home-yoga/
I’ve been practicing yoga for 15 years. I’ve had a serious issue with sciatica and am trying everything. I really enjoyed this 20 minutes for men yogaflow. I’ll keep you updated 😎
I had sciatica for 10 years so I feel your pain. I cured it using the Mackenzie method which is basically a yoga posture & that lead me to yoga. How’s your sciatica 4 months on?
I've been working with online yoga for several years. They are always led by women and the hardest thing about this is the inherent differences between men and women's bodies that allow them to get into positions I may never be able to! Knowing what's realistic and addressing issues around men's bodies is helpful.
We really appreciate your feedback. Everyone is welcome to try MFY and can definitely benefit from it, but it was created specifically with men and their needs in mind. Hope you check out the whole Yoga for Men series in our channel.
My experience is the YMCA early mornings with three different instructors on the three different days and they were all excellent. I was getting into great strength and able to have so much more movement then, COVID hit and I refused to be on the screen doing yoga. I found an instructor that did live (on screen) yoga and I did outdoors at a park socially distanced. It was a challenge being outside on cold foggy mornings in S.F. and the on screen was adding to my screen time. I've given up waiting for live group sessions and am happy to have found Man Flow- thank you.
Hello Dean, I'm a soon to be 67 year old guy who as age has kicked in gotten to get popping, cracking and everything else in between and gyms don't do it for me at my age but found your video and enjoyed it. I think just being active and trying to stay flexible will help me out. Thank you so much for your video.
I recently completed a 30 day yoga program and although it was great, the program did not account for tight calves and hip flexors as much as I would have liked. Thanks for going deep into the explanations! I feel more limber already
I've commented on a couple of other videos, but only recently played this one to the end and heard you asking for a specific feedback; the routines are excellent, I've stuck with your vids since before Christmas last and have found my balance and mobility much improved. I've no real experience of others apart from 10 minute intros of various practicioners but they didn't connect with me - too much in the technical and aiming for too much for beginners. Your method seems to be such that progress can be made slowly, you don't show off your own ability, which I've found offputting in others. Your body is obviously the result of years of training and practice. I'm enjoying being able to stand and sit still for much longer than was possible due to painful lower back. And this is the main point for me and why I'm sticking with your style - the poses, stretches, and strengthening has help build up a strong lower back and torso. I can't praise enough your videos for getting me to this healthy place. And, of course, as with most decent exercise, the mind is healthier. Thank you so much Dean for putting all this on UA-cam, free. I would struggle to pay for the app. Go well. and I love the dogs!
Absolutely liked it. I am in the Military and consistently training which takes a toll on the body. As a man I never stretch, and do Yoga as much as I should. The poses for men allow me to get the stretching and conditioning that I need. Loved the video!!!
I’m 59, and have dabbled in yoga over the years, having been introduced to it through Martial arts. Lately, I have seen several elderly family members struggle horribly with lack of strength and in flexibility. I decided that I never wanted that to happen to me, at least not through my own complacency. I feel better now than I have for years, having done yoga daily for six months. Also, yoga has greatly improved my meditation practice. I am able to sit more comfortably, and concentrate more deeply. Manflow yoga is awesome because it’s very instructive. Love Sean Vigue too, and Yoga with Adriene. Thanks.
Thank you, I tried Yoga twice before years ago so this is my first time in a long while. I actually made it through the workout (it was ugly but got it done) and didn't feel foolish like I did in the past. I am so happy I found this.
Fantastic video! I’ve been practicing yoga for 20+ years and no problems with this, but 90%+ of the time, it’s taught by women with definitely a feminine focus. This class taught me nuances that I’ve never heard before, and I appreciated them greatly. Thank you again!
Dean, I'm just starting out so thank you for taking the time to show a smooth, flowing set of movements with great explanations for proper technique. Cheers mate.
You gotta start somewhere Mike, so we're glad it's with us. Check out our Free 7 Day Challenge, it's beginner friendly and helps get you on the right track: manflowyoga.com/7-day-beginners-yoga-for-men-challenge/
Aside of getting rid of Back Pain, one of the most helpful things for me is the breathing aspect. it´s incredibly relaxing and helps me to focus. Thanx Man, lookin for more to come.
I did yoga club in college, yoga classes online and in person, off and on for a few years, in this single video I learned so much more than anything else I've come across; I would highly recommend a watch!
thank you, i just move to cali colombia, from miami, just for the quarantine, i hope yoga classes help me to deal with this situation. thank you, to not just yoga, you are saving lives too.
I've been doing yoga for almost 10 years. I really like these videos geared toward the biomechanics of a man. They help all parts of my body get stronger with better range of motion.
I’ve done yoga for maybe about a year now, but the way you taught here brought me back to fundamentals that I never got in my other yoga classes. Great introduction to inform people what they should be focusing on!
This is fantastic. I have been into fitness since I was a child. I did Yoga at University years ago. I stopped it once I graduated. I am back into it now since March 2024. I have been looking for Yoga for men, so glad I found your channel.
I've been saying for years that I was going to start complimenting my weight training with yoga, and now I can finally say I have. Thanks for the video; I'm really looking forward to great improvement in flexibility, balance and injury avoidance.
That's awesome to hear Mat! Be sure to check out the entire Yoga For Men series in our channel. And visit our site for even more content: manflowyoga.com/
I’ve done yoga off and on over my 60 years, and am so glad I found this-it’s the best! The emphasis on strength and posture is especially welcome, and I really appreciate understanding the modifications-in the past I’ve felt like it was doing less, now I see it as a way to be more effective. Thanks Dean!
Thank you for the feedback and the support! Our channel here is just a preview of all the content we create, so if you've never tried our Member's Area you're missing out. A 7-Day Trial is completely Free: manflowyoga.com/seven-day-trial/
Great. I've done yoga for 15 or 20 years always led by women. If the regular teacher was out and a young woman was the instructor, I would skip the class. They just don't appreciate how inflexible an old man's body can be (I'm 76). It's great to see you address the physiological differences. Thank you.
Well said Neale. We encourage everyone to try MFY but it was definitely created with men and their specific needs in mind. Be sure to check out the whole YfM series. You can see it here on our site all in one place: manflowyoga.com/home-yoga/
Thank you for your work here. I've done yoga off and on for years, and appreciate that your approach is free of the whole swami-baba-gi-guru jargon that so many other yoga teachers use. I'm accustomed to seeing only one or two guys in the room, so an entire class geared for men is refreshing.
Namaste I'm training to be a teacher in yoga and I do see a difference in the men in my class they are a lot stiffer and this video will help to modify what we already do Thank you 🙏
Been struggling with lower back pain for years. This was my first workout in a long time. Thank you very much. Your explanations are on point and it really help to see yoga from a male perspective. Looking forward to continue 😊
Really glad to hear that, Rodrigo! Keep it up. There are a few other routines in this series. I also have a free page of workouts set up here: manflowyoga.com/free
I think that was the best hip flexor stretch in the lunge I have ever experienced. Your knowledge and application of body mechanics/physiology is unmatched for most other instructors on here, even though I love those instructors too. I don’t know any other yoga teacher that does this like you. I’ve done a few of your classes I love your movement based workout too. I really enjoy your yoga as a no fluff style for maintenance/injury prevention and strengthening. The explanations of how to get into the postures are some of the most helpful for me I’ve found and I’ve been doing yoga 4-7 times a week since January 2022 with a range of different instructors (mostly women).
Since you've enjoyed our injury prevention / strength building content so much, you'll definitely enjoy our Strength Foundations Challenge. It's 6 weeks long, comes with full access to our Member's Area and Workout Library and only costs $9. A new challenge starts every Monday, including today: manflowyoga.com/strength-foundations-challenge-special/
This is exactly what I needed. Previously I had done a few of the other female oriented youtube classes but this was a great change especially being orientated towards men. The suttle difference in keeping the back straight during child's pose had me stretching muscles I didnt even know existed. Time spent on each pose/exercise was perfect, which is one of the complaints I had about the other videos switching poses too fast. Will definitely be continuing to do workouts with Man Flow Yoga. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it Sterling! While we encourage anyone to use MFY, it was created specifically with men and their needs in mind. Keep up the good work! For even more content be sure to visit our site: manflowyoga.com/
Finally, a yoga routine that I can do completely without modification! I’m in great shape but still had to modify yoga sessions. Sadly, it was usually the things female instructors didn’t think about that I could not do based on my male physiology that would force me to modify.
I did piles of yoga in high school while playing rugby, to maintain mobility and reduce chances of injury. Now, years later, as a shift worker in the aviation industry, I find the long shifts on concrete floors wreaking havoc on my joints and mobility. I have never been less flexible! Circling back to yoga because I know building core muscles and increasing mobility will help greatly. Thank you for the videos!
Been an active guy my whole life, be it cycling, walking, golf, gym, martial arts but mostly cycling. Been getting stiffer and stiffer especially these last few years. New to yoga (about 3 weeks), but already feeling better. Wish I'd started sooner
I really appreciate your approach. It's true that nowadays most yoga is by women for women. This is refreshingly doable over the hyper flexible nymph telling you not to worry you'll get it, set your intention....while doing splits beyond 180. Don't get me wrong the eye candy contortionists are nice to look at but not the guidance I need. A breath of fresh air for sure. Keep up the great work.
I've been a skeptic of Yoga for a long time. I have had some physical and mental issues stopping me from working out like I have for the previous 15 years. This video has actually made me excited to start working out again and for the first time in my life I'm excited to start stretching! Thank you for the videos.
Wow, that's really awesome to hear Vincent! We're glad to have you on board. Be sure to follow the whole Yoga For Men Series in our channel. For even more free content be sure to visit our site: manflowyoga.com/home-yoga/
Awesome, that's really great to hear Richard! Since you're enjoying our content here so much you should check out our Member's Area. Our UA-cam channel is just a fraction of what we have there! A 7 Day Trial is Free: manflowyoga.com/seven-day-trial/
Yoga 200 hr plus doing it previously for about ten years. The woman who certified me told me there was a call for male teachers to teach it to men because of the differences in physiology as well as mentality I’m personally grateful for these classes because it’s nice to be taught from a male perspective... to be taught in general rather than teaching
Keep going young one. Found this guy while looking for a herniated disc remedy and not only did the extension routine give me major relief but now I am hooked to other videos. Stretching is so important I am 29 now and wish I would have stayed in my yoga flows as a teens that I learned through my grandparents.
I appreciate how you explain the movements with the breathing being a signal to the nervous symptom that all is good. You gradually add in modifications to the poses. You stress the breathing and the form like a strength trainer and even why you stress that being the fact that this exercise is a reversal of the damage we do to our bodies day in, day out. So it gives me a why before I even think about quitting so I pursue the whole work out. It's so brief that it challenges me enough to want to come back tomorrow and do it again. 30 minutes just fly by and I focus on a series of poses. I used to do yoga from the internet for at least a year straight. So I've done better at home with a program on the internet. I have gone to a yoga studio before. I like it because in a traditional way of yoga the teacher says a bunch of woo woo stuff that makes me calm, but you show that it isn't exactly necessary. I'm a christian so going into a yoga studio and hearing mindfulness things can sometimes conflict in me, but ultimately both methods bring me to the same destination in the sense of stillness or mindfulness. The way you instruct is a lot more helpful for the body than the mind, which is what I'm looking for if I'm in pain. Theres other strategies for emotional and psychological pain that are best left off the yoga mat imo. But it's a bonus if it does help in that regard. You manage to do it for me by focusing solely on one modification at a time. It's also a lot more affordable than a yoga studio membership that I have to get back in a car to get to and from.
Your feedback is great Cameron! Glad you found our workouts so helpful. If you have not already, be sure and check out our site for workouts like this and so much more: manflowyoga.com/
I recently chucked-in my desk job and purchased a small-holding. My body has rebelled and I have had awful back pain from moving to 'manual' labour. I promised myself the Winter to get fitter for Spring planting etc... I've been following these videos to strenghten back and core and get more flexible. My back pain has gone completely, my core is stronger and I genuinely look forward to following two of your work-outs per day. Thank you so much - this has made a real difference. Bring on the Spring !!
I’ve been doing yoga more and more over the last 3 years. I got into it after recovering from an ACL/Meniscus surgery because I really loved the strengthening and stretching exercises I did for physical therapy. I’ve always been more flexible than the average male so most yoga videos aren’t too hard for me but I have had a harder time building up strength and muscle so I’m glad I discovered this. If you have resources on how to build muscle with yoga (and other methods) I’d love to know!
Hey Jacob - thanks!! If you're hoping to build more muscle with yoga, a great way to get started is my Strength Foundations Course. You'll get that in my Members' Area. You can learn more here: manflowyoga.com/join
Never "liked" a video, you're gonna be the first one bro. Thanks for this original demonstration, finally yoga for men. I searched for that for a long time.
At 58 I just found yoga and have been practicing for only 1-1/2 months but have already noticed a difference. Mobility, agility and core strength are improved. The female instructors that I take yoga with are great but Thank you for posting these. I have been doing your Workout #1 routine in the morning and it helps me prepare for the day. I feel so much better during the day and get better more restful sleep at night.
That's really great to hear Terry! Better now than never to get a yoga practice started. if you haven't already be sure to subscirbe to our channel, we're adding new content every week.
Thank you! Appreciate such explicit and well articulated directions. And yes, appreciate addressing the needs of men in doing these poses and exercises. So appreciate your work!
My experience with YOGA has been very difficult. I never learned about the various adjustments with blocks and straps that can be used and thus never reaped any benefit before now. I especially appreciate the strength building aspect of your teachings. I try to do strength training in addition to running but fail to seamlessly incorporate it into my training. Runners love to run and hate to do the other aspects of training; however, when we get injured and look around asking why. It is because we don't do Yoga and Strength/Cross Training. I am changing that with your programs. Thank you.
Thank you, Mark! Very happy to hear that you enjoy my strength focused teaching style and I hope you continue to use the programs on manflowyoga.com :-)
Have been a fan for a while! Own your book and recommend to every guy I know. As someone who works out 5-6 days a week, yoga is a must and YOURS is where I go. Great job!
This is just superb, been searching for "does martingale work roulette?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Aonyanaler Bewildering Asset - (just google it ) ? It is an awesome exclusive guide for discovering how to making money with a proven roulette system minus the normal expense. Ive heard some super things about it and my partner got cool results with it.
Hey! Strength and Conditioning coach here. Had injuries and surgeries in left knee and right ankle, so a lot of these postures are challenging just at the starting position. But I loved the workout, I will try more of these taking advantage of the quarantine. Thanks!!!
Hey Javier - Yup, those are my injuries exactly. :-) Hip strengthening and hip mobility really helped a ton. Check out the newest workout I just released on the channel (Yoga Essentials for Core Strength & Hips) - I think you'll get a ton out of it. ua-cam.com/video/aKz-GR2OfSw/v-deo.html
As a 47 year old guy, I have done a few 30 day yoga challenges taught by women, but this is really refreshing! You go into details that show how yoga can be a real strength builder instead of just stretches for skinny people. I look forward to working through your videos and getting in better shape.
Thank you for the great feedback Grey! We think everyone can benefit from yoga, even the non-skinny / non-flexible types. Be sure to follow along to the whole YfM series in our channel. You can view them all here in one place: manflowyoga.com/home-yoga/
I’ve been doing sports all my life but just started yoga but finding it really difficult as I’ve just realised that I have very little flexibility. Enjoying your video. Thanks
Hello, I have been practicing yoga for the last five years, I was able to lose 150 lbs by practicing yoga and proper nutrition. Yoga completely changed my life, all men should be practicing yoga!
I really appreciate the guidance while doing these poses. So many times I have been lost not knowing if I am doing the poses correctly. Thank you. I think men do have different mobility issues. I have seen many women straight out of the gate touch their toes and bend in ways I have been trying to work my way up to for months.
Great feedback Matt, really glad you're enjoying our Yoga For Men Series. if you haven't already be sure to subscribe to our channel, we're adding new content every week.
Grateful to have found this channel. One thing I've noticed with the more feminine based yoga is that the sessions never really push the envelope. Even the "intermediate" stuff usually left me wanting.
We're glad to hear you're enjoying our content. Hopefully you're following along to the whole YfM series. You can view it all in one place here on our site: manflowyoga.com/home-yoga/
Your right the yoga that I was doing was hurting me because the lack of indications of what to do and any movement before and after . Love your content.
This was perfect introduction for me to yoga. Have tried many other classes and videos and have been able to do and given up. This was great. Love your work
I played football from 5-18, have been lifting weights, ran track, a military man, and now I'm a big time runner with primarily calisthenics. I find that the biggest hurdle most men face is tightness all over the body. No one puts in the time to stretch. And in .y case it has lead to some injuries over the years. I am always tight no matter what I do, I have slight Pettus excavatum which pulls my shoulders in and creates a more exaggerated curve in my lower back, so I am constantly struggling with tightness in the core, glutes, hamstrings, and hip flexors. I'm happy to have found this channel, I've tried doing some yoga in the last year and I have found that it really has helped, but I'm glad to find a man that can give us some manly yoga. Otherwise my wife will talk crap 🤣 thanks a lot buddy
Glad you found your way here and found MFY so useful! Next time you're doing yoga tell your wife to join you :) Be sure to check out the whole Yoga For Men series in our channel. And for even more content visit our site: manflowyoga.com/home-yoga/
Thanks for this. I did Bikram yoga religiously for about 5 years and then became disillusioned with it and quit for 5 years . I'm starting your workout series as a beginner again. Looking forward to developing my new practice.
Thank you for the feedback, we're glad to have you! Be sure to check out the whole Yoga For Men Series. And check out our site for even more content: manflowyoga.com/
I like how you explain each pose in details and it's benefits. I've been practicing Yoga with all female instructors for couple of year now, this gave me a wider perspective with what it means to stretch overall. Awesome practice brother 👏🏻
Been an MFY member for almost a year. Came on to UA-cam to check out other Yoga instructors. I will definitely be signing up with MFY for another year.
Thank you Dean, I've been doing yoga for a couple of years and found this Yoga for Men Series good for getting the basics right. I found you through Sean Vigue too. Keep up the good work.
Thank you, Peter!! Yes, I'm glad you found this helpful for learning more about the basics. We cover stuff here that a lot of yoga instructors kind of omit. :-) And Sean is the man! Glad you like his workouts.
I really appreciate how you talk through what should be going on in different parts of my body with each pose. I feel like I am more aware of specific muscles
That's really great to hear James, glad you're finding our content so helpful! Be sure to follow along to the whole Yoga For Men Series in our channel.
Thanks and looking forward to it! My experience with yoga has mostly been stretching adaptations for HIIT and Tabata workouts (so missing formal explanations). I do think there are natural differences for man and woman that should be recognized and embraced. I also think this increases as we age due to natural differences in our body strengths, flexibility, and how we wear (how we age).
really glad I discovered your channel. I do think there is a difference between yoga for men and for women. Most yoga sessions I have attended have been mostly women and the focus was on flexibility. For what ever reason, men have less capacity for flexibility than women. I think that it only makes sense to cater sessions to the body types that are participating.
well explained, started yoga recently and it's brought improvement to my fitness across the board! I'll be doing these when I can't get to class thank!!!
I absolutely do believe yoga is a great help in life. Ive been practising for years and as an older surfer i find it helps with my flow on the waves. My first of many classes with you. Thanks for the flow.
Awesome! After doing this once I am already looser. I have done some restorative yoga in the past for arthritis and knee surgery. This is a wonderful series. Please do more of these!!
Isnt it funny that yoga was developed by men in ancient times, then brought to the west and reinvented by a man, and now needs to be re-introduced and reintegrated to and for men. Most classes i go to make me do a standing split or 3 legged dog. My hips, lower back and hamstrings dont allow that for me. It is actually an advanced pose, though it is deceiving because it is much easier for women generally. Its great to finally get some man yoga. Made for men. Thanks brother
Absolutely great!! Done it for years but not consistently. BK Iyengar? Now older, I MUST stretch - it's not an option, it's " survival medicine". In my 60's, mobility and flexibility is tantamount. Thanks for making the adaptations for men! Brilliant. My legs are longer (short waisted) and my hams very tight - I feel like a brittle pretzel that might break, but I always feel amazing afterwards. Glad I found you - this is great! Thank you. I would have appreciated this 40 years ago too.
Thank you for the support! Our content here is just a preview of everything we create, so you should consider a Free 7 Day Trial to our Member's Area: manflowyoga.com/seven-day-trial/
I am brand new to yoga, I have tried it out a few times in the past and hated it. I really enjoy your tutorials, they are easy to follow, I appreciate the special instruction for MEN! Thanks
We're glad you're enjoyed this Cory. Be sure to try the whole YfM Series in our channel. You can view it all here in one place: manflowyoga.com/home-yoga/
David Coleman really good to hear that!! We have a lot of triathletes doing Man Flow Yoga :-) helpful for many reasons! Be consistent and try to do 3 workouts per week, and you’ll really notice Man Flow Yoga helping. :-)
There are many factors in this topic . One resource I discovered which successfully combines these is the Yanas yoga results (check it out on google) definately the most helpful blueprint that I've seen. look at all the incredible info .
Man Flow Yoga I’ve been doing yoga from your channel and I am loving them. However, I ache all over. Although the session seem relative relaxed, my god do I suffer the next day. Is this normal for a newbie? And will the soreness decrease the more I do it? How often should I be doing yoga in company with triathlon training, at present I’m doing it 2-3 a week. I love it and I’m sure I will benefit from doing it but I’m worried that it will have a detrimental impact on other forms of training. Thanks
Thank you for this workout tailored for men! I have been doing yoga for about ten years, ever since my wife became a yoga teacher, and this is the first time I have come across a practice tailored for men. I love yoga because I know that by doing it regularly, my strength, balance and flexibility will continue to improve rather than degrade, which typically happens as we age. I am looking forward to doing more of your practices!
Darrell - hey that's pretty cool! Glad you enjoy this routine. There are 5 total workouts in this series, be sure to check them all out. :-) If you're looking for a program or more workouts, check out my website: manflowyoga.com/join PS I hope your wife isn't mad at me. :-p
I was looking for something with "relaxing" in the title but I'm glad I tried this. I felt quite a bit better than i generally do after doing a routine from yoga with Adrienne. Although her moves are good, I'm relieved that wellness does not = being able to twist myself into a 🥨
@@ManFlowYoga i certainly have. I'm moving through one video series now and it does more than my previous steetching/massage/workout routine. It feels like all those things are happening at once and I am finally finding spinal alignment.
Glad you enjoyed this Glenn! Be sure to check out the whole YfM series in our channel. You can see it all here in one place: manflowyoga.com/home-yoga/
I have back issue linked to working from home during covid. I have begun to try yoga and pilates, as a beginner I am recognising how accessible you are making yoga for a newbie. Thank you 😊

As a woman, I love your videos and workouts. While I have enjoyed some of my female instructors, some really don't understand the muscle issues that come with working a "blue-collar" job and being hard on your body/joints day in a day out.
Your lack of background music and fluffy commentary is refreshing.
Thank you!
Thank you for sharing your experience! We appreciate having you in the MFY Community.
I agree. My son told me about this and I love this. This is better than any I have seen. I took yoga instructor training years ago and it was no where near as detailed and easy to follow as this. Thank you.
Thanks mate, I've been following Adriane for some time. She's good but doesn't account for having balls.
Same 🤣
relatable
if you have enough balls you dont have balls
Balls and yoga aren't very compatible

Woke up today and said "I am sick and tired of hurting every day," and here I am. At 54 years young, 35 pounds overweight, and having had double hip replacement this year, I have never felt worse. Going to try this for 90 days and hope I can get back to life that feels normal again.

We're glad you're enjoying our content!

Welcome back!

For even more free content be sure to visit our site:

We're really happy to have you hear Doug! Thank you for the support :)
Really glad you found your way to us Roberto! Keep up the good work with the challenge :)
I recently completed a 30 day yoga program and although it was great, the program did not account for tight calves and hip flexors as much as I would have liked. Thanks for going deep into the explanations! I feel more limber already
Good to hear!!
Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback Philip! It's rewarding to hear how helpful our content has been to you.
Thanks.
Thank you, Mike!! Glad you have noticed results from doing yoga consistently.
Thank you, I tried Yoga twice before years ago so this is my first time in a long while. I actually made it through the workout (it was ugly but got it done) and didn't feel foolish like I did in the past. I am so happy I found this.

Great. I've done yoga for 15 or 20 years always led by women. If the regular teacher was out and a young woman was the instructor, I would skip the class. They just don't appreciate how inflexible an old man's body can be (I'm 76). It's great to see you address the physiological differences. Thank you.

Thanks!

Finally, a yoga routine that I can do completely without modification! I’m in great shape but still had to modify yoga sessions. Sadly, it was usually the things female instructors didn’t think about that I could not do based on my male physiology that would force me to modify.

Tryed it this morning and found it very helpful and I'm 61 years old and I feel better for it
I did piles of yoga in high school while playing rugby, to maintain mobility and reduce chances of injury. Now, years later, as a shift worker in the aviation industry, I find the long shifts on concrete floors wreaking havoc on my joints and mobility. I have never been less flexible! I really appreciate your approach. It's true that nowadays most yoga is by women for women.

Definitely a difference between men and women. This is good, some yoga poses seem impossible for the average man.

Terrific first workout Dean. Thanks for taking it slow and talking me through it. I’m geeked for the next one. Well done!!

this is my first foray into yoga - I'm adding this in daily as part of a strength and conditioning program. A friend recommended Man Flow. thank you.
Be sure to thank your friend for us! Really glad you're enjoying the Yoga For Men series.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! Hope you're enjoying our Yoga For Men series!
well explained, started yoga recently and it's brought improvement to my fitness across the board! I'll be doing these when I can't get to class thank!!!
Andrzej Misiak Great!
I absolutely do believe yoga is a great help in life. Ive been practising for years and as an older surfer i find it helps with my flow on the waves. My first of many classes with you. Thanks for the flow.
And thank you for being part of the Man Flow Yoga Community!
I followed your pupz poses and they really helped!
Awesome! After doing this once I am already looser. I have done some restorative yoga in the past for arthritis and knee surgery. This is a wonderful series. Please do more of these!!
Glad you enjoyed it. You should check out our whole Yoga For Men Series in our channel. And for even more content check out our site:

Isnt it funny that yoga was developed by men in ancient times, then brought to the west and reinvented by a man, and now needs to be re-introduced and reintegrated to and for men.
Most classes i go to make me do a standing split or 3 legged dog. My hips, lower back and hamstrings dont allow that for me. It is actually an advanced pose, though it is deceiving because it is much easier for women generally.
Its great to finally get some man yoga. Made for men.
Thanks brother
It is very funny, I agree!

I am brand new to yoga, I have tried it out a few times in the past and hated it. I really enjoy your tutorials, they are easy to follow, I appreciate the special instruction for MEN!
Thanks

This was my first attempt at yoga and i managed to follow it with relative ease. As a triathlete, i am hoping to benefit from this channel. Thank you.
:-) If you're looking for a program or more workouts, check out my website: manflowyoga.com/join
PS I hope your wife isn't mad at me. :-p
I was looking for something with "relaxing" in the title but I'm glad I tried this. I felt quite a bit better than i generally do after doing a routine from yoga with Adrienne. Although her moves are good, I'm relieved that wellness does not = being able to twist myself into a 🥨
So glad you found your way to this routine! If you haven't already be sure to subscribe to our channel, we're adding new content every week.
@@ManFlowYoga i certainly have. I'm moving through one video series now and it does more than my previous steetching/massage/workout routine. It feels like all those things are happening at once and I am finally finding spinal alignment.
These workouts really help with my lower back pain. Keep up the good work 👍
