That last armadillo method actually sounds pretty fun to do It looks like it makes mining into a sort of minigame, which is always cool to see But yeah the first half of the video is a great recap on what I need to do, I'm still a powder grinder for now
Great guide, but I want to add a couple things: 1. Armadillo isn’t as bad as you say, you really only need to spin around at a moderate pace while looking down. 2. I also really recommend armadillo mining, due to it requiring a lot less powder than normal, but still makes a TON more per hour. 3. I also want to recommend that you shouldn’t max out the sorrow set (perfect gemstones, jaded, etc). Instead, I suggest only getting fine on the sorrow. You don’t need anything else. Just save until you can afford divan, but don’t get the amber slot. Even if you do/don’t armadillo mine, the amber slot seems like an afterthought. 4. Routes are also a really important thing in gemstone mining. Bad routes = less profit, good routes = more profit. Look up routes if you’re having trouble 5. I don’t know if this was the best idea, but what I did was focus on maxing out my armor before my gauntlet. But if I could give an order, I would probably say that you should go from getting a gauntlet and getting it to a decent level (fine/flawless gemstones, fortune 4, auspicious), then get divan armor, max it out, then max the gauntlet out with pristine 5 and perfects 6. Final thing, if you’re grinding powder, I suggest maxing out your daily powder, and getting powder buff to a decent level (mine is at 40%, but I suggest only 30%). Why daily powder? Because at max level, it can give you 4k powder of each per day. And you honestly shouldn’t be gemstones mining before you have good powder, so just max it out. But, if the powder buff perk works as intended, then that 4K should be buffed by your powder buff amount. Not only that, but claiming the daily powder during 2x powder can get you 8k per day. Which is pretty good. Not only that, but even after you get HOTM 7, DO DAILY COMMISSIONS. You can get 4k per commission every day. Since you can do only 4 daily commissions, you can get 16k powder of one type a day. During 2x powder, that’s 32k, which helps a lot Idk just my general thoughts Tl;dr, don’t max sorrow, save for divan, powder mining is cool and you should optimize for it, armadillo mining is also cool, and routes are extra cool
Here's the thing. If everyone keeps suggesting armadillo it's either going to: 1) Get nerfed by the admins 2) Become so oversaturated by 200k powder sorrow nons that there won't be any lobbies EVER, and if you do secure a lobby it will soon be griefed. Just like during fiestas #2 is already happening and if there's not much to do to stop it. Really sad stuff

I probably can’t speak for everyone, but I already semi-maxed out my divan, and I only have around 2m mithril and 2.8m gemstone. (And tbh semi-maxed divan is better than maxed sorrow. Fight me on that) For reference, my profile is 3 months old. I got HOTM 7 through dailies mostly (ik, inefficient), but I got a ton of money through forge flipping. Super good passive money making method, once my chambers and mixtures sell, I’ll have 100m spare to get perfect jades and max out my gauntlet

@@Dragoonmaster4 you don't want to put blue cheese goblin omlete on your main drill instead put a sunny side goblin omlete and put the blue one on a secondary drill ( cheapest you can get ) the reason for this is 1: you switch to your secondary drill and use your pickaxe ability with the blue goblin omlete this way you get the +1 lvl to mining speed boost then you switch back to your main drill so you can get the sunny side fortune
The world edit part is insane thx for the info. At first i was ruby minning but i had public coords and its hard finding a lobby with nobody so i switched to jade but now with world edit looks like im about to go mine some rubys again thx again
If u wanna open the tresure chests with less mistake, less effort and LESS ANNOYING LAG FUCKING THE LOCKPICKING: go to the side of the chest and lockpick it with one dimension. If you keep staring at the half of the chest (square root line) u can do the lockpicking without even moving the cursor. Tldr: dont face the chest, go to side.

For those scared off by the hefty price of full maxed Divan, the price is more like 300-350 Million instead of the 560 Million price tag in the video! Great video very informative! :D I think one thing you could have added was an emphasis on how long powder grinding actually takes, because it's no joke! You did brush over it, but I think the hardest part of getting a MAXED mining setup is grinding the powder! Keep up the high quality content!
I had 60M coins since I just upgraded the bank to tier two and I thought "Hm, maybe I should try becoming even richer!" And so I try to look for good tutorials and while this one is good it feels like there should be an even cheaper and more budget method. Maybe I'm just poor.

I must say that while mining is great but I think you should have also mentioned that there are other comparable/better money making methods as well because most of the community right now just thinks of mining as the ultimate money making method. In reality, doing M7 makes 40-50m/hour on average, dungeon carries can make upwards of 200m+/hour during peak player hours, ghosts are 40m+/hour with a maxed setup, carrying T4 voidglooms is up to 50m/hour, etc.
I don't think ghost grinding is good anymore. You can get a lot of sorrows but it is pretty hard to sell them. I think it would be better if they add sorrow to bazaar

Remember that forging your own mining setup (especially the drills and drill parts) saves a huge amount of money if ur willing to wait some days, for example i forged my 655 for almost half the lowest bin price
It’s actually a myth that powder grinding is needed. I’m not saying that you can make 30m/h with 0 powder, but you don’t need anywhere close to 4m/4m. Starting around 1.5m/1.5m is actually nearly the same as 4m/4m because of the powder cost of levels scaling. I personally recommend getting to around 1.5m/1.5m and then go to mine gemstones. Don’t spend any of your powder after this until you can max out potm7. This will allow you to gain gemstone powder much faster through mining gemstones. While it might look like this is dumb because you only gain gemstone powder, you can still spend the coins gained through gemstones on goblin eggs for mithril powder. This is just my opinion, but hopefully it helps someone!
Agreed, set up is much more impt. But I think 2/2 is preferred to max out mithril mining fort for armadillo mining. U can slowly accumulate gemstone powder through dailies :)
Overall really good guide however, I’d argue that nucleus runs are one of the most effecient hotm exp methods as along with the 800 exp they give you, once you unlock the fourth commotion slot, you always get a commission to collect one of the crystals for 400 exp. This means that by collecting this commission after each respective crystal you do, you get 2800 hotm exp per run and each run takes about 3 mins when maximised.

Another thing you can you use wishing compasses to find mines of divan, when used in mithril deposits if points toward the crystal nucleus the there is no mines of divan in that lobby, but if it points toward someplace else that is the mines of divan
@@Dragoonmaster4 In the mithril deposits the only thing they point to is the mines of divan if there is one in that lobby, nowhere else. That is the only time they should be used to find 1 of the 3 mining locations.
I actually tested something and i noticed that with about 4m gemstone powder and a jungle pick (+ some mithril powder for mining speed) u could probably make like 12m per hour mining hardstone in the jungle

One thing i think yoy forgot to mention is that when you add perfect gemstones to every slot in the artifact of powder it boosts its rarity, and then you can recom it to boost it further giving you much better stats
actually the best legal money making method is buying or making a mod that searches the auction house for underpriced items and quickly buying and reselling them. it can make 100-200mil an hour depending on your luck and how big is your purse.
kinda, that is something only the top few players and do and its not consistent without cheating. armadillo is fairly consistent at 50m/h with decent skill
ik most people say you should mine with a gauntlet for powder mining, however if you are like me and bought your actual gemstone mining drill earlier, if it doesnt already have compact 10 i would use that. its suprising how quickly doing little things like that make your efficiency build up
Incorrect 1. U dont need 4m mithril powder, 2.5m is enough. Its gives u 25 mf and 100 ms less Not worth extra time spent 2. Heated is better than auspicious all the time, even if ur far away frkm next tick, because MSB 4. Only could afford a couple of things on this list, got a nice piece of sorrow armor with the upgrades and the glistening glowstone gauntlet. Need to come up with a bit more to get it going stronger.

yellow goblin omlette is better for mining but if you get another drill and put the blue omlette on it and swap you can buff the power and duration of your mining speed boost when you are hotm 7 you should keep doing your daily comms and collect them during double powder because that adds up over time
Heated > Auspicious for everything but dillo mining, some people use auspicious to hit the exact tick for ruby/jade when theyre hypermaxed in terms of gear and powder

Important to note that you will not make that much money with only 4m gemstone powder, if you are looking to hypermax your setup then you should get around 12m gemstone powder.
Great quality and great explaining, just to say something tho. Do not put silex on a gauntlet, you’ll most likely upgrade to a 655 so better to save if ur Ironman / not ready to spend the coin.s.
I pretty sure with armadilo mining you can also do it with amber and amethyst. You make a little less than with structure but its quicker and you make a little less or little more depending on the bz prices. I think at the current moment I make around 15-17m with amber. I could probably make more if I better optimize the routes and add more ambrr and ruby veins as well as get perfect topaz and recomb my divan. What Im saying is that with armadilo mining you can use routes if you use a good route and get a similar result to mining in structures. I think with s structure I make a little less, but that might just be because of how scuffed majority of my throne and spiral structures were or due to the last divan peice that I got recently. TL;DR Good amber/amethyst and ruby routes can net you close or better profits.

wishing compasses are useful but a pain to use sometimes if they point you to a useless structure

I actually tested something and i noticed that with about 4m gemstone powder and a jungle pick (+ some mithril powder for mining speed) u could probably make like 12m per hour mining hardstone in the jungle

@@LegendOfDan I do indeed use divan's drill and my powder is around 5.5m mithril powder and almost 7m gemstone. i get 39.9m/hr hypersweating spiral and mining some veins i dug out from the walls around the place

One thing i think yoy forgot to mention is that when you add perfect gemstones to every slot in the artifact of powder it boosts its rarity, and then you can recom it to boost it further giving you much better stats

actually the best legal money making method is buying or making a mod that searches the auction house for underpriced items and quickly buying and reselling them. it can make 100-200mil an hour depending on your luck and how big is your purse.
kinda, that is something only the top few players and do and its not consistent without cheating. armadillo is fairly consistent at 50m/h with decent skill

ik most people say you should mine with a gauntlet for powder mining, however if you are like me and bought your actual gemstone mining drill earlier, if it doesnt already have compact 10 i would use that. its suprising how quickly doing little things like that make your efficiency build up

Incorrect
1. U dont need 4m mithril powder, 2.5m is enough. Its gives u 25 mf and 100 ms less
Not worth extra time spent
2. Powder buff perk is bugged and doesnt work, please dont make more ppl using it
There are many comparisons on forums, that show it is bugged
3. Heated is better than auspicious all the time, even if ur far away frkm next tick, because MSB
4. Sunny side goblin omlette is much better and cheaper than blue cheese
Ppl use blue cheese on 2nd random drill for MSB boost
Excluding this, nice video i like the animations
to rebuttle a few things
1. 4m is just the figure alot of mining sweats agree on for anything other than armadillo mining (you need 2m/2m for aramdillo)
2. im am aware of that and correct myself in the pinned comment but hope it will be fixed soon
3. for armadillo and jade auspicious is better

when you are hotm 7 you should keep doing your daily comms and collect them during double powder because that adds up over time

Heated > Auspicious for everything but dillo mining, some people use auspicious to hit the exact tick for ruby/jade when theyre hypermaxed in terms of gear and powder

U can use leg scatha for 20% more gemstone powder or mithril golem for mithril
yes, at the time of this guide it was bugged though. and mithril golem doesn't work on chests

no set-ups are worth it at that price, plus its like 90% paid for by powder grinding
Important to note that you will not make that much money with only 4m gemstone powder, if you are looking to hypermax your setup then you should get around 12m gemstone powder.

4m gemstone and 2.5mil mithril works pretty well as you don't earn mithril as fast as gemstone
gemstone powder is more important for gemstone mining

I pretty sure with armadilo mining you can also do it with amber and amethyst.
You make a little less than with structure but its quicker and you make a little less or little more depending on the bz prices.
I think at the current moment I make around 15-17m with amber. I could probably make more if I better optimize the routes and add more ambrr and ruby veins as well as get perfect topaz and recomb my divan.
What Im saying is that with armadilo mining you can use routes if you use a good route and get a similar result to mining in structures.
I think with s structure I make a little less, but that might just be because of how scuffed majority of my throne and spiral structures were or due to the last divan peice that I got recently.
TL;DR Good amber/amethyst and ruby routes can net you close or better profits.
