One of the characters in the game actually has a skin (outfit and hairdo) set that is based directly off of Wednesday Addams, in fact.
...it's a DIFFERENT character, it's Willow, instead of Wendy, but still... (Probably because Willow has the black hair, unlike blonde Wendy.)

I knew in autum when you said "The basics for a base" and didnt include a lightning rod, that you would get your base destroyed by lighning in spring.
To be fair, I usually don't include a lighting rod until spring either, cuz I only remember I need it when I'm out and about and the first lighting hits. And I have been playing the game since the beginning, cuz I played the single player before it, with all DLCs.

the community doesnt exactly consider Wigfrid a "noob character" (as in normally you will not be judged for playing her), it is more that playing her is very unhealthy long time, as she rewards the habit of tanking things, something that does not really work if you play other characters!
She’s considered a noob trap, not a for noobs character. It’s an important distinction! :)
Yeah i realized i could just face tank some bosses and had the comfort of spawning with a weapon and helmet. Tried playing Woodie and Wilson and i got demolished
I feel like out of everything seanie did in this 100 days, the most accomplishing thing he did was make the purple carpet and Tuesday getting happy,

I relate so deeply to Tuesday constantly dying, even while opting out of tasks above her pay grade 😂
A few tips as a "Veteran" player,
- Try to learn enemy's fighting patterns, it will make your capability in a fight to be much better.
- Armor > any other equipment, armor is practically the most important thing in the game, mistakes will happen and having armor on will stop these mistakes from ending your run. (obviously not wearing armor is ok, but always try to have on armor)
- You can survive all of winter with a thermal stone and a torch (when thermal stone gets yellow, light a tree and keep by the tree until the thermal stone is back to max) no need for insulation and will allow you to keep on armor.
-Going away from anything by 2 screens will stop all natural things (lightning strikes/wildfires) from occurring (will not stop them once started)
- Pay attention to character specific crafting/perks , During this entire video I did not see use of wendys or wigfrids songs/abigail abilities. (These are very important and are a major part of the character, these make fights/other things easier and have many applications.)
- Most important of all, don't be afraid to rollback when learning (If you have to spend 30 days doing stuff you already know how to do just to die to deerclops because you don't know how to kill him, no reason not to spend a long time rolling back on deerclops to figure out how to kill him, and then succeeding next time you fight him with no rollback).

Yeah, you can run away from a wildfire to stop it from spreading any further - all trees that were on fire already will be fully burned, though.

Speaking of rollback, my friend and I play DST about once a week, and one summer, we were pretty set up. 2 minutes later, fire hounds died and EVERYTHING burned 😂 the reason why it didn't burn before is because nothing sets on fire from the weather in the oasis. Yeahh we rolled it back lol
Also that touchstones can be used by all players, at a once per player per touchstone

Magicians pull rabbits out of hats. That's why the 1st tier magic building requires rabbits.
For anyone else who doesn't know, The little ghost that Wednesday kept following is named Pipspook and if you play as Wendy and follow him he gives you the flower you need to respawn Abigail
The eternal fruitcake joke with that laugh afterwards was almost too much x)
If you ever do anymore Dst I have a few useful tips
1. You should build tents which are insanely helpful throughout the whole game which give you health and sanity in exchange for hunger, it's a great deal
2. The ruins always connect to the muddy biome, just like the archives you originally found always connect to the lunar grotto
3. The easiest way to kill Beardger is to run away into a forest, causing him to follow you and knock down tons of trees for logs until the Beardger spawns Treeguards which will aggro on him and completely destroy him
4. You can make booster shots that give you your max hp back caused by telltale hearts
5. Although Wigfrid's battle helms are very good and cheaper than football helmets for easy damage reduction, the eye mask, dropped by the Eye of Terror boss (A crossover with terraria), gives you a helmet just as protective while also being rechargeable with food, including rot
Love your content Seanie Dew, you're definitely one of my favorite youtubers, hope you do more Don't Starve content. Also the desert goggles thing is extremely dumb

I should add that I find these don’t starve videos really entertaining and would love to watch more. This is a game where “getting good” feels soooo good. Perfectly kiting bosses and getting a good rhythm is a good feeling that not many survival games get right
I know this is 3 months ago but a few tips I have as a mediocre don't starve player is...
Abigail can kill alot of bees, spiders, frogs, and hounds so use her as your defense.
Wendy can go to graveyards and help pipspooks, using them to get morning stars to make potions and more flowers if she ever loses hers and you can do multiple in one world, I know she did it in the eppisode but to explain a bit more.
The tower that Wendy uses needs flowers and flowers give you sanity so it's 2 birds with one stone, you can also use these flowers to make flower crowns that'll up your sanity as well.
If Abigail lives for 3 days she gains her full health bar.
Wigfrids hammer or weapon isint that valuable but her helmet is she's a great character for brute force just make alot of armor and have food/a hambat on you at all times.
Pre craft items beforehand so you can craft them faster and be able to have more items, not much but more.
You can create syringes to up your health after creating a telltale heart it uses a bee stinger, ash, and I think a spider gland and it'll help alot.
Bee boxes can be stored all year and searched once around winter and It'll give you a bunch of honey and the bees won't come out to attack you.
A flingamging would help greatly for the fires just be careful about what you put in its radius
If you have a bunch of meat that's about to rot feed it to your bird to get a bunch of eggs.
That part where you had to go all the way around the world to meet Wendy could have easily been shortened if you created a raft and put it in the water, you could have jumped across easily.
While killing goose goose have a panflute handy so you can kill each baby one at a time so they don't jump you, 1 panflute spawns per map near the glommer statue found in the autumn biome.
You can also use this strategy with dragonfly and their fire baby's, near her spawn there are always 3 ponds of lava, create walls in between the ponds and place signs in the middle of it all, the baby's will run towards the sign since it's a man-made object and will eventually run into the ponds and die getting rid of her first wave, then she'll get mad (or she gets mad first I don't remember) anyways if you use the pan flute it cancles it all together and you can beat her easier.
You don't have to restart!! You may be doing it for integrity wise but if you didn't know you can recall the map and it'll restart to your last save so you can save your run:)
Lighting will follow you so if you dont have a lighting rod up yet just don't go to your home and it won't get struck.
Some of the best groups to use with duos are
Wendy and wortox as she can kill a bunch of enemies and he uses their souls
Wickerbottom and wigfrid
Woodie
And woodie and wortox
Woodie is very underrated I love his axe and his ability If you line up a bunch of trees and let them grow you can let him tear them down or you can make beaver do it when he spawns and does his dash itll get you a bunch of wood without wasting a bunch of time I make a lime of like 60 trees and make him run through them until they all fall down and then start the fight, to make him go to that area or spawn there put a sign by it and hide out there around the time he spawns and he'll run over there.

~1:44 getting rot early on is actually a good thing lol you can plant your stick and grass sapplings at base earlier
Edit: get them going I should say, you can plant them whenever but they won’t produce anything till fertilized
6:40 gears are renweable, and not only by the “technical” way, first of all tumble weeds from the dragonfly desert have a 1% chance for each drop to be gears. And if you assemble the marble statue heads and put them on the according marble statues, if you mine them on a full moon, the corresponding clockwork enemy spawns (and make sure it is a FULL moon and not a new moon, on a new moon you will spawn the shadow pieces boss)
edit: ok so the tumbleweed part is null cause after he did his research and made the 2nd world he did in fact employ the tumbleweed method
So much effort just go to the ruins and reset it with fuelweaver. 😭

Not sure if you’re interested in this playstyle, but you can turn on infinite respawn from the florid postern in the menu (can turn events on/off there too)

this is my absolute favorite series please play as much don’t starve as humanly possible on the channel i am obsessed
You can also prevent a fire by clicking a smoldering item.
You'll get hot fir a second, but if you catch it in time then it won't turn into a full on fire.
Also, you can put out fires automatically with an ice-flingo-matic and manually with a watering can 😊

When I play don’t starve I like to think I’m a Seanie, but I’m a Tuesday somehow dying by just standing there lol love the don’t starve together!
Might be a good idea to drop a thermal stone or two around dragonfly’s lava pits that you can grab if you need in winter. Also rip posting this right after they released Wigfrid’s skill tree
Loving the Dont STarve content! I found you through stardew this summer but DS is a childhood game for me.
Seanie, basing in the oasis desert keeps your base from catching fire. It’s always my go-to location. And you can place two (or four, in this case) thermal stones in the icebox and swap them out when the stone starts to warm up.

Little ruins tips, it has a mechanic called the Nightmare Cycle that cycles through four phases.
There's the Calm phase which is pretty normal. No nightmare fissures open and Splumonkeys will be neutral towards you.
Next is the warning phase where nightmare fissures will open up slightly, they won't spawn Shadow Creatures yet, but it's literally you're first warning.
The Nightmare phase is where hell rises up and everything becomes hostile. Nightmare fissures open up fully and spawn Shadow Creatures every few minutes, Splumonkeys become Shadow Splumonkeys which are extremely dangerous as their massive numbers can kill you quickly. And any Thuelicite Statues have a chance to spawn an additional Shadow Creature upon being mined.
The last phase is the Dawn phase where everything starts calming down and then afterward it goes back to the Calm phase and repeats.

While it’s not the most reliable way to get more Gears in the early game, if you go to Dragonfly’s Desert and harvest Tumbleweeds, they do have a small chance to drop Gears along with a list of other useful items, while providing you with a large supply of Grass and Twigs.

Seanie. Wigfrid gains sanity from fighting, so you could've just fought spiders for sanity.
For next time, just so you know, the easiest way to protect camp from lightning without a lightningrod is to leave camp, cause lightning only strike near the player😊
I love this. Day 1 to Day 100 (*cough* 111). Even if you're knowledgeable and well-prepared, one tragic mistake could completely destroy your entire run 😂
Edit: You and Tuesday are so cute together 😭 Without knowing how to play DST, let alone some (more) advanced (than beginner tips), it will murder you over and over again 😆 also, GREAT to know that if two people die on a playthrough, that the world itself restarts 💀 My friend and I were fighting Bee Queen last night and we both nearly died (he died and I was left at 50 hp). We also have a surplus of telltale hearts and booster shots lol. (Also, I just realized that he and I also use the combination of Wendy & Wigfred. I loved seeing your progress from the first world to the second! Just goes to show the power of binging through DST guides 🤣

lightning can only strike in loaded areas, so if you don’t have a lightning rod set up somewhere you should stay away from that part of the map until you can put one down there

You could make a boat! Even a grass raft + basic oars (Both able to be crafted without science) will get you across _way_ faster than running the length, plus you guys can go back and forth until the raft dies.

lol seanie's rant at summer is me. Also Easiest way to kill bearger is with angry Treeguards. He can actually be very useful, smashing trees and rocks and leaving you lots of resources. Or make him fall asleep by feeding him ten honey.

28:13 you can save all area by leave it. Lightning and fire spread while player is around.
So you can stop fire or make sure no fire happen by leave the area.

also with right armor you can just tank the hits, the easiest way to kill the normal deerclops is to just make two bright campfires and some healining items

Yeah so little tip whenever a ghost haunts a spider it garuntees a spider gland to drop so if you ever need any for whatever reason it is a good way to revive people and or grind glands for whatever reason.
