SSB is why you pay with American Express. “Hello, AmEx, I paid for work on my Lamborghini steering rack, and the work was sub-standard”. “Let me reverse that charge for you, sir.”
What I have learned by watching many "I bought a lambo" videos is that the only way to do this right is to let someone else by one and you just look at it. Sort of a take-off on the "Wargames" quote of "the only winning move is not to play". My old countach poster seems to have lasted WAY longer than any actual lambo ever sold. And it NEVER caused anything to leak onto the floor. Well, not oil anyway.
I see a golden marketing opportunity for the Wizard. A tee with a baby holding car keys that says "Car Wizard" on the front and "More effective than Condoms." (w/babby) on the back.
@@raulv98 first I never hide anything and I want it for a driver. Second of all why would I ever need to hide that... everyone knows the history of every Lambo. The problem is once they have the car apart or in this case the part apart it's too late to know how long they will have it or be able to do anything about it. I think any car part rebuilder in Florida that needs to advertise everywhere is suspect ...
@@zak2u2 This can also go back to Clell's comment of knowing what you're doing means you already know what you need and how to put it all back together. People that specialize in rebuilding steering racks will automatically know what internal parts they need to replace and which ones they can reuse. Also, reputable places as the original commenter said won't take an eternity to do the work and would respond to their customer when contacted with a problem. Which begs the question, why did they not respond to the Wizard in response to the cap being missing and the original problem returning being the leaking seals? Silence is guilt.

When wizard got to the "magnum" size cap I literally laughed out loud and spit out some of my Reese's.
Why not file a civil suit? Businesses like that need to be held accountable for things like this. It's a clear case. They'll refund you or hire a lawyer. I guarantee one is alot cheaper.
He can go through eBay. They will return the money.

Interstate Civil suit for $2500 is futile as it would cost far more in attorney fees and filing fees than he would receive from a dubious company.
@@daddynichol52 not on Hoovies part. It's a small claim. He don't need a lawyer. It's a clear cut case. If the business wants to fight the small claim. They would probably have to hire a lawyer to even have a chance of it being dismissed. It would be cheaper to refund it and claim it was settled outside of the courtroom. I've been in a similar situation with a 3rd party MacBook repair center. They charged me for a "new" OEM Oled screen. Recieved a aftermarket crap lcd. That quit working after one week. They refused to replace it or refund me. Filed a civil suit in small claims court in the county of the business out of state. There was no filing fees. It got settled out of court as soon as they were served the summons. I was refunded in full.
SSB is why you pay with American Express.
“Hello, AmEx, I paid for work on my Lamborghini steering rack, and the work was sub-standard”.
“Let me reverse that charge for you, sir.”
Or a credit card.
I just "Googled" SSB, and all I could find was a Tractor parts company ............................................

That red Starion in the wizards shop is awesome! Hoovie should buy it!
"dust cap" Comes out with a load of core plugs...
That rack co needs calling out for this.
Never heard someone say the phrase “bad decision” whilst asking for a loan! 😆
"The car Wizzard is more effective than condom" :D Im dying hahahahahahahahahahahahaha that was hilarious :D
I see a golden marketing opportunity for the Wizard. A tee with a baby holding car keys that says "Car Wizard" on the front and "More effective than Condoms." (w/babby) on the back.

How many times a week should we all go to Freddy’s for lunch and/or dinner to help you out?
Yes

That hoverboard you've got charging in the background is a ticking time bomb.
I don’t think I’m old enough for all the innuendo in this video. Oh My 😮🤭
Magic Mike must do a lot of rock climbing and bouldering with the way he was able to man-handle that steering rack!
I was thinking the same thing. That's not just casual upper body strength that's I'm actually fit upper body strength haha
Never give up on your dreams because all that you would have is reality.
BRAVO!
Sell me the Murci 😃
Do it JR
😂😂😂
I actually had exact same thought.
So you could sell it further for full price without mentioning the cut shell? Like the other one? m.imgur.com/a/wloLuTD
@@raulv98 first I never hide anything and I want it for a driver. Second of all why would I ever need to hide that... everyone knows the history of every Lambo. You're in here trying to compare a salvage title car to a 3" cut in the tunnel for maintenance. 🤷♂️ Shouldn't even respond to this level of trolling.
Hey man love the vid. A funny question, do you pause in between your words on purpose? It kinda gives you a unique style 🤝
Hoovie: makes a bad Choice
Me: awe shit here we go again
So now we not only have Urination Bob, but also the Contraception Wizard.
Love the channel, but shouldn't the mechanic have checked the rack before installation?....like right out of the shipping carton when receiving it?
Magic Mike is half the weight of the Wizard. By my high school physics calculations, I think he needs a wrench twice as long.
pun intended? but how safe is Mike's wrench?
This is the best video in awhile, "You're more effective than a condom" "Hmm... China" I'm just dying lmao
Car Wizard´s new slogan lol xD
China should put that slogan now for every stuff they make....😆😆😆
When used properly
Good call bud!!! Lamborghini yourself into bankruptcy. You and the Wizard are such positive relatable dudes that make me smile everytime. Keep the lambos and keep up the good work boys.
In my experience the amount of time it takes someone to do a job is usually an indication of the quality of work they do. People that know what they're doing don't need an eternity to do it.
@@TwentytenS4B8 Oh, no doubt about that ... My mechanic sent my immobillizer system from my Boxster to Florida from the west coast for $2500 of work and they did a great job.
I think your making a good decision, a Murcielago is alot easier to come by being as though it is newer than a very limited edition 25th Anniversary Countach
Actually the anniversary edition isn't rare at all. It was the most produced version and accounted for about a third of all countachs
@@pjbth and not as good looking in my opinion as the older countach
A perfectly Hoovie ending to a perfectly Hoovie video! 😀😀
You should have the wizard check the pump pressure going thru the rack just to make sure it's within limits of the racks seals. Just a thought.
Yes
Hmmm, maybe there was noting wrong with the rack, just too high of pressure. Good thought. Time will tell!
Well, if that's the problem, is Wizards fault.
The "eccentric doctor" is starting to sound like a "mad genius" for unloading these turkeys 🤣
If you buy an old Lamborghini and get away with less than $20K in repairs you are a winner. Lots of people go down the financing an exotic rabbit hole and get punched in the face with a bill they cannot pay, then the car sits, seals rot, repairs go undone, and eventually they find out they can get out of it without a loss and move it on.
But the "Eccentric doctor" now doesn't own 2 classic lambos. Its one of those things where even when you win, you lose.
@@msjp81 He is probably driving around in an Abrams tank (or whatever he bought). It makes you wonder how long the Lamborghini had been undrivable when he owned it.
I had trouble focusing during this video. That beautiful red Conquest in the background kept calling to me. Yes, I know it's in the company of old Vettes and a Lambo, but... those Conquests were COOOOOL (still are).
Heard several "oof"s when the Wizard mentioned SSB...
Omg, this was the most *raw* episode of Hoovies Garage to date!

Hopefully it's not a pump problem causing it to overpressurize the steering rack and blow out seals.
I dig it when Hoovie flirts with demonetization in his vids😂
..he’s a distance shooter indeed😏 lol
This man has kept me entertained for many years.
Between countach and mercilago, countach is a keeper. I wouldnt care about the hole you made in the mercy but not everyone is as practical. Keep the countach as long as you can; it'll only appreciate. Same goes for the diablo. Take good care of them.
I love the mercilago too....
That ending was priceless, thank you Hoovie!

I hope that you guys both complained to the 'rack people' about this shabby work and no cherry on top, otherwise they'll just continue scerwing people over after months of repairs. In fact, i think Wizzard should invoice them for a couple of hours labour.
As much as I loved the Countach growing up, I've really grown fond of the Diablo as I got older. I'd keep the Diablo as well, even over the Murcielago
