thanks for the memories of hunting late afternon solo huunts in my yourger days. they were almost always successful. i'm 68 now and haven't been able to hunt since jan. 2017 due to impaired health and increasing blindness. i can't see the dwebfoots aprraoching your spred but do see them on your shot cam. also, i've been watdhing you for yeaars. the first vid i ever saw of yours was one where you were in the parkiing lot at a public area waitinjg to go and, another hunter pulled in and grabbed your spot lol. gots to be there firstest lol. you have really improved your approach to vids and editinhg. i'll keep watching as long as i can still see. even if i go totally blind, lie in my left eye, ican still listen. love the boom of a shotgun at wefgots. sorry for bad typing, i had a stoke the day after Thanksgiving na haem yet to fuly recover.
I dont know if other people talk about your camera angles and views. But I really like when you have the camera setup behind you giving the fish eye view, able to see you hunt, the birds work and the decoys all in one frame. Awesome channel though man, really enjoy it!
I like your train of thought about calling. You seem to not call a lot and let the birds come on in. I too lean toward that mind set. I've seen other videos of guys duck hunting and it seems like all they do is blow on a duck call the entire time. The whole purpose of a decoy spread is to let the decoys do the work for you. Love the videos! Keep them coming please!
That’s awesome. Here in eastern PA, we can only take two mallards and one Canada goose. That can sometimes make for a quick limit since we just don’t see the variety of ducks that we used to in the past. The hunting here has gotten so tough and regulated here that I barely see anyone else hunting fowl anymore….
@@jeffbuchanan9480 western PA is in a different goose zone and has higher limits in most of that part of the state. the eastern is in the migrator zone that got cut down a couple years ago. Sucks. Down here on the DelMarVa peninsula we get one goose daily limit too.
Just wondering what setup you run for the camera behind you? Always love getting that shot but the battery always dies, any tips are appreciated thanks
Went hunting and shot a few today for the first time like over 10 years... my first shot back at it dropped 2 in one shot hahaha thank you to my brother for the new shotty.
Josh, I've never done much in the way of afternoon hunting but I'm considering trying it this weekend. What time were you setup to start shooting this day?
Hey could you show what you look like in your kayak blind ? Or maybe reorient your distant camera to show from the front? Im wondering if I’m not hiding good enough and would like to see your example.
@@OutdoorLimits what made you go to the molded pair, you have owned both so just want your opinion Im just trying to see if I should just do the molded in stead of the standard fits all.
@@tylerezell3040 I use Kicks High Flyer Mod and Full choke. Generally stick with the Mod, unless I'm hunting geese or if we have to shoot birds 30+ yards out, I'll swap it out to the full. I'd stick with a mid range/mod choke for 90% of your waterfowl needs.

Maybe you've covered this in another video, but where's Cora? Hunts at this spot seem like great open opportunities to hunt/train.

Hopefully I can take her again by the end of the month. Shes just so much puppy right now and it's holding her back
Could have a sweet mount with all those drake Greenwings
Another great video could u do a video on your kyak setup
Really like your small spread, I like to see you hunt ducks| geese with 3-6 goose decoys . Taste teal! Thanks for the VLOG
I am glad that you're doing the small spread/kayak stuff again, but what ever happened to your new boat and blind that you were working on?
I scrapped the boat blind idea. Its just as easy to take an a frame or the invisiman and tuck the boat away
What shells are you using? I just got a 20gauge Benelli. Good job.
Absolutely amazing hunt and vid
Отличная стрельба! exceiient shooting! Good!
