The heavier oil does have its pros. Don’t have to move as much. LOL. I do hate when the put that light oil down (15mls) for league especially on teams of 4. Just gets torched.
looks tough! definitely a pattern where you have to earn your strikes. I've never played the flat US open pattern, I wish my sport shot league put it out. Also good idea on not chasing scores, it puts unnecessary pressure on each shot. Best to ignore score and make a good shot each time. The scores will follow from making your best shot each time!
Strikes almost felt like I had to pay for them. Well it felt that way😅. Sometimes if you ask the counter and you reserve a lane, you can ask for certain oil patterns but depends on the alley.
It's more important to focus on the process vs scores. You hear top bowlers make references to that concept all the time. Best of success with life on and off the lanes. BTW I just subscribed
@@irishpogi Thanks for the subscribe🙏. My process is improving by letting the score just play out. It can be hard and I got my mental checkpoints removed. No longer looking for that 100 by the 5th frame cuz a lot can change in one shot. Only 12 shots of chance for perfection.
Still out of box surface. By end of this night was at 5 games with it. Every time I got the ball back it had 7 new fresh rings I was wiping off. Just a lot of oil out there.
Yours was better than mine 188 146 138 for 472 mine was a struggle bus today I have 40% spares 40% open and 27 percent strikes we will do better next week good luck bud 🎳🎳🎳🎳✌️✌️✌️✌️
Just threw my Widow 3.0 for the first time today and it rolls pretty good
The oil for this pattern is the same amount my local house uses for the whole year lmao.
