Chinese sport shooter Yang Qian began practising shooting in 2011 and started competing in 2012. She was selected to train with the shooting team of Ningbo Sports School under coach Yu Lihua during her fourth year at primary school. At the #Tokyo2020 Summer Olympics, Yang Qian won two gold medals - one in the women's 10m Air Rifle Women and the other in the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team.
The Tokyo 2020 Olympic Summer Games took place in Japan, from July 23, 2021 to August 8, 2021.

Her name is pronounced as “Young Chien”. An Olympic gold medalist and also a 3rd year student majoring in economics at Tsinghua University, China's top university. Yang Qian is the daughter every parent wanted.
and Tsinghua University is one of the top Public universities in Beijing, China. It is ranked #17 in QS Global World Rankings 2022.

firearms are a different discipline, this one is for air rifles
There is another competition for that
In a lot of countries there are heavy restrictions on firearms, so using air rifles makes it more accessible.
Where I am the restrictions are the same for air rifles and .22 rifles, although you don't need a licence to buy air pellets.
