Big feet little feat they'll keep stepping when the real wolf huffs and puffs and walks out the door with you on his arm .. without firing a single shot!!
I danced and sang on stage with LF...Two shows, Chicago, just graduated from High School. My gals and I were discovered and the band were gentlemen . One of the best nights of my life.
Haha, today is a 60th birthday. Woke up with these in my head! Blessed day all, oh, next is Traffic; Light up or leave me alone, followed by Medicated Goo...😁
People would aim that song at me all the time.... lol.. don't bogart that joint, my friend... pass it over to me. ah... what a time to be a teenager in the 70s..
One of the greatest rock poets of all time. When he he talks about remembering the strain of her frame in Dixie chicken, every man knows what he means. Why they take the good ones so young I don't know.
Had the good fortune to see Little Feat about four months after this show, way up in Durham, New Hampshire at the Lundholm Gymnasium on the campus of The University of New Hampshire. One of the best musical evenings of my life, and there have been many, but Little Feat with Lowell George was special.
I so love these guys!!! Some of my best memories is seeing this band all over the country from NYC to NoLa LA.. It always seemed to be they were following me around... Gad it still goes on! See you this fall Featsssss
, Bill Payne can draw a lowdown blues, ragtime, saloon and jazz style feel he does it all !; .Not to mention he's the piano player for Stevie Nicks recordings and on solo tour early 80's. Check out the US festival on her solo tour. She loves him! Jus what american music is to me. Willin piano made the hairs on my back arms and neck rise-up when he turned around and did that 2nd measure soloit was the shit
I am a Little Feat fan from the early days. Have Bootleg tapes with lol playing slide with Bonnie Raitt at the ultrasonic recording studios and I now see if they have made a recording album from these studio sessions.
Was living in Dallas. First blind date with a gentleman named George..He took me to this concert. Magnificent..... Lol... No it wasn't George Lowell. But it was damn well worth it.
Hot night in Twin Cities - June 2020.....the "cure" for tonight...my shelter from the storm....The last weeks ? Here is the EYE....in the tornado.......
Have not heard Don't Bogart That Joint since the early 70s. Had not smoked then, but did later on for around 37 years. It was when I had to have half a joint to go to sleep and other half to get motivate to get clean up and make breakfast for kids while better half got the kids ready for school. Of course after making breakfast I'd go sit on couch, roll three more dobbies, listen to recordings of Head Banger's Ball, then go to Peavey 4-12 turn amp to Spinal Tap 22, lol,ugh worst playing in my whole life. Quit around 2003 then tried 4 and half months of Cronick and it took that long for me to get stupid that took 37 years of Mexican weed. Gotta admit it does help just a bit when playing guitar but it is just to addictive for me. It's been nearly 20 years since I've smoked weed and really don't miss it. Enjoy waking up with a full and rationale: mindset. After 37 years I finally found money in my pocket, don't wake up wanting more weed, and no alcohol to help boast the high. If others choose to get high, Lol, oh well they can wake up however. Also can keep up with keys, even thou when I smoked, keys were there in front of my eyes. Hum?
Phenomenal performance, you can’t get any better than this, I remember J one time in one of those trips to the coast, was Humming and singing a little of the lyrics,it was afterwards I started drinking shiner bock , I just liked the taste,Hmmm ….everything good comes to an end.
This is classic Little Feat. Takes me back to a time when life was fun & uncomplicated. Music was great & smoking weed was a regular thing.
God bless ya'. You summed it up perfectly!
Big feet little feat they'll keep stepping when the real wolf huffs and puffs and walks out the door with you on his arm .. without firing a single shot!!
Well put.
At least the weed is better🌳
Lots of hash at these times and Thai sticks stoner's music 🎶
From a quality era when real talent and real music meant something to those that played it and for those that appreciated it.
I danced and sang on stage with LF...Two shows, Chicago, just graduated from High School. My gals and I were discovered and the band were gentlemen . One of the best nights of my life.

Saw then open for the Stones in Stuttgart, back in '77. I'm a big Stones fan but, that night, the Feat ate 'em up. Top 5 concert for me.
I saw them open for ELO in Sacramento in 1975. They blew the roof off the place! ELO didn't stand a chance , I almost felt embarrassed for them.
@@billc6087 Actually, it was ‘75 when I saw them. All that good hashish clouded my memory. ( ; > )
Saw them open for Van Morrison in 1974 or 1975 in Austin. Both bands were extraordinary.
One of my all time favorite bands.Yes when music was extrodiary
When the music was truly extraordinary.
Little Feat. America’s Rock n Roll Band 💕🎶

One of the greatest rock poets of all time. When he he talks about remembering the strain of her frame in Dixie chicken, every man knows what he means. Why they take the good ones so young I don't know.
The strain of her refrain ... actually.
Rock heart-attacks are often stimulant-related.
