123-MPH Crash in Stolen Maserati Kills One Teen: Cops

- One teenager is dead and two more injured after a high-speed crash in an allegedly stolen Maserati. Authorities say the three teenagers stole the unlocked vehicle from a driveway. The teens lost control of the car, ran over a curb, and crashed. One of the teenagers was pronounced dead at the scene. Sheriffs say the other two are in the hospital, one with critical injuries and the other “not expected to make it.“

This is the saddest thing I've seen today. The kids that weren't driving were probably terrified, they all endured unspeakable painful injuries. I'll pray for each of their souls, alive or dead. I wish this on no one. One stupid mistake cost them and their families all of this heartache. 🥺💕😮💨🙏

It was not a bad choice, it was a serious crime. I cannot believe you, and others, refuse to acknowledge what it was. Our culture, at home and at school needs to stop this blatant ignorance of the facts. Only then can we begin to identify and fix the problem.

One bad decision is all it takes to ruin their lives. The way they crashed that car and the state of it, there's no way anyone can survive, let out alone come out unscathed. The two who survived will most likely be severely crippled. That's worse than prison, because they'll have to carry that with them forever.
One is in critical condition and the other is expected to die. So only one might survive

Same thing happened to my oldest son and his friend. My son's permanently disabled from the crash. Him and his friend robbed a Home Depot. 1 bad decision can ruin your life and everyone that loves you as well.

This was a string of bad decisions, lack of parenting, and kids that weren't going to change any time soon. This wasn't a kid making a mistake this was a hardened criminal in training. Good riddance. Why was the helicopter hovering over the car in question? This was like a sting that went wrong it was like a bait car but the kids actually started it somehow.

@Jarren Smith: The chopper was there because there was a robbery, ironically enough, that was reported in that neighborhood prior to those dudes stealing the car. The cops also found a gun inside the car with them that they stole. Those dudes were up to no good period.
I was wondering the exact same thing. The person saying they were looking into a robbery that happened nearby would make sense. The only other logical thing I could think of was them testing this technology and stumbling upon them. The whole thing is odd.

It’s sad that this happened but I’m just happy no innocent people were harmed. All too often cases like this end with the people responsible for the whole thing being fine, while someone who had nothing to do with it dies.

To clear things up, the helicopter was already in the air due to a previous suspect they just detained when they saw the teens walking at 3am then randomly got into the car. They crashed only about 2-3 minutes after they just started driving.
