Sort of. I'm (stu) Yorkshire but lived in Sunderland for about ten years which is where we met. After we met we realised that despite Lin living in the midlands her family was from the same town as my family to the point her grandmother worked in the bakery opposite by grandmother's house.

@@hifipigTv Hi Stu (& Lin) - thanks for your kind reply. I sort of thought you were from the North-East, but there were certain words and phrases which made me think, Yorkshire? I thought Lin might be from the Midlands, but w/ no hint of 'Brummie', i.e., much more softer.
(I'm originally from just outside Edinburgh, but have lived outside Scotland in a few countries since my v. late-20's. Namely, the U.S. >> Canada >> Japan where I've lived w/ wife (who is Japanese), for over 25 years... People say that I've still kept 90% of my original accent, but I've basically just slowed down my speech so the folk here can understand me).
