One thing I’d say is, that feeling of “starting over from scratch” doesn’t really go away, in my experience. The better you get at drawing, the better you get at nitpicking picking too hahah. SO it’s super important imo to focus as much as possible on just enjoying the journey from the very beginning - this means the crap drawings too lol, rip. Focus on learning/progress too, that’s fine! But it doesn’t get less rough over time unless you work on why it’s rough in the first place (I.e, the mental health side). I’m HYPED for your next video, whenever it comes out!!
I have just found your channel and I love it, I love that your a literal beginner, I love that your showing the struggles but you are improving so much! I am 30 and literally just started drawing, my drawings are absolutely terrible and I have so much to learn but it's so refreshing finding someone who is in this position and watching your journey. This is a very cute sketchbook tour. Congrats on making OCs and keep practicing drawing from imagination. The more I talk to my friends and other artsy people working from pure imagination is incredibly difficult. Never lose the passion to create!

Watching you reminds me of my self when I first started drawing lol. One tip I have is to not be afraid to step outta your comfort zone and try to challenge yourself. If you only practice what you already know, it can cause your art to plateau, and that’s what happened to me for the longest time. Anyway, really love the vids keen doing a good job 👍
Hey! Loved the video and I have a recommendation that you should learn the loomis method of drawing heads, I think it'll help you grasp the basic construction and forms of head.give it a try

youre improvement is crazy. id recommend teaching to draw cubes and boxes and perspective to help you angle you character in any direction you want.
