- Gold fish like cold water and need lots of room to thrive. This week we are mad about the improper care many goldfish endure. Be sure to do lots of research, they also appreciate varied diets and enrichment, and have specific compatibility concerns with many commonly cohabitated fish.

Thank you for making this video! It is such hard work and expense taking care of a goldfish properly! Massive bioload and that's why people starve them. Do a goldfish a favor, and don't take one home unless you are ready to dedicate much of your free time and spending money! You'll be doing yourself a favor also. Sad but true, fortune cookies give better advice than pet store workers. Never go by what they tell you.

Video editing tip: When making a mock-dialog, quick cuts make it more realistic. You can even cut the video about 5 frames before the audio for a more realistic effect.

A co-worker's wife got one at a carnival. He asked me if i had a spare ten gallon laying around. I gave him the whole speach. By the way, I'm not saying this to be mean, but he is stupid. Genuinely stupid. I brought him the tank The next day, but the fish had already died. And what does he do.....? He goes payday and buys five more. FIVE! A few weeks later after i keep preaching to him he tells me he is getting a twenty gallon off of marketplace. This is why i don't carry a gun. Great video by the way.
