    Great question about NYC. I assume NYC would be a great draw. More people = more money.

      MSG only ran once a month, places like The Omni and the Midsouth Coliseum were running weekly, and drawing big houses, year end totals show they out drew WWF in MSG.

    You need to get your facts straight. WWF was not called WWWF in 1982. They changed their name in 1979. Also Vince broke away from the NWA in 1983 not 1982.

    Vince Jr. always hated the NWA, and perhaps rightfully so. The NWA promoters didn’t always play nice when it came to outlaw promotions and sleezy practices as mentioned.

      Right!! Vince was the most ethical, upstanding, honest business man in wrestling! He wasn't gonna put up with backstabbing, lying, and or Tom foolery!!!
