      Sid taking on Shawn Michaels at Survivor Series, Sid was a heel but you’d never know based on the pop of the audience. It’s one thing to be a face and everyone cheering for you, but to be a heel and having the crowd eating out of your hand is something entirely different.

      Well all his powerbombs and chokeslams always looked brutal more so with the jobbers but he had a good run in both WCW and WWF but everyone will remember his monster look. Its a shame that he is not in the HOF and that was down to one man every year and that was vince seemed like he never made amends with him even low sid had one last appearance on RAW. This is similar to vader they put him in the HOF after he died and its too late then! I mean guys like demolition get those guys in before they die!

      Everything from that entire match, Sid’s entrance where he fist bumps as many people as he can, to the pyrotechnics spelling out his name, then you have the match itself and you would have never thought that a dude as big as Sid had that much speed and agility, and the ending was chef’s kiss perfect.

    Thank you for posting this interview, it's great to see Sid talking about the glory days of wrestling. Seeing him so calm and relaxed is so different from how he did his promos, especially the shock master botch. What a legend he is, rest in peace and may our memories of him in the ring last forever. Nobody delivered the powerbomb with the same intensity he did. Love you Sid, thank you for the memories you gave us.

  • @michaelr.4878
    @michaelr.4878 2 місяці тому +2

    This is what makes me sad... There are countless tributes, praising Sid and talking about how awesome he was, now that he has passed. But where were the tributes and shows of admiration when he was still alive? Of course, wrestling fans absolutely love Sid and always have...and all of the tributes from wrestlers have shown just how respected he was by his peers. I really hope that some of his peers got to tell him how over he was with them, before passed. I hope that Sid knew how much the fans and his peers respected him. This happens all of the time when people pass. People need to start showing respect and admiration to the people they hold in high regard when they are still alive. Life is short and tomorrow is not a guarantee.
    ..the last thing I'll say is what I've been posting on every Sid video I've watched recently.... In my opinion, Sid was THE prototype of what a pro wrestler should be and look like. The body..the mic skills...the ability to get into character and make people believe. Psycho Sid looked scary. Even if you only saw his eyes and not his 300lb, muscular body, you would think, 'wow..that dude is scary'. He had the best look in the history of wrestling, imo. Anyway...I guess this is my little tribute to a fallen legend...and a reminder for others to appreciate your loved ones while they are still here...because telling them you appreciate them tomorrow might not be possible....as the Sid situation/passing has shown us.

    Unlike Hogan( "That doesn't work for me, brother!) Sid was known for being easy to work with backstage. He never complained when it came to putting someone over. There were nights he didn't know who he was working with and when he found out, he would go ask them what they wanted to do during the match. Vince didn't like him, but whenever he needed someone to fill a spot, he always got Sid. He is definitely deserving of a HOF induction.

I didn't know he suffered with cancer and that's what ultimately took him. I lost my mom to pancreatic cancer 2yrs ago. Such a devastating disease to overcome not matter what form it comes in. Anyway thank you Sid for all the great memories. My heartfelt prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. And shout out to Booker T. for sharing his personal relationship with Sid on his podcast. And how Sid helped him and his brother Stevie Ray break into the business.
