For me it's a hard choice whether i want to sacrifice being at sea doing carrier operations as an MH-60R pilot for the thrill and exhilaration of being a fast jet pilot. I wish the RAN still had fast jet carrier capabilities, combining both sea operations and being a fast jet pilot would be the ultimate in my opinion... But i still have to make selection yet 😅

Get into Cadets when you turn 13, trust me it is the best decision you will make if you are maybe looking for some people who are into aviation and military stuff. I would highly recommend you join a Cadet Unit they usually recruit twice a year (may be different because of Covid now). If you are kinda shy like me it can be scary going to somewhere where you know no one but you will fit right in as everyone is just like you and you are guaranteed to make some mates fast. There are SQN’s in every state I highly recommend you go check it out man it is awesome!!!!
Still my absolute favourite plane the super hornet. I love these things. They just look so good. I fell in love with the hornet as a kid and when I got bigger, they got bigger 😂
We've had legacy Hornets since 1984....they are in the process of being retired or sold off to Canada. The Super Hornets were acquired to replace our retired F111's.
