There’s also no sound insulation in the inside the top of the bus, so it echos. One thing i really like about this bus though is that is is sooooooo much smoother than IC busses
I love my Thomas! My favourite thing about it is how high I sit, good for short people. I learned how to drive in an IC but my first route came with a Thomas and I immediately knew I liked it better. I think we can all agree the Blue Birds are the worst!

Schools in my country/state actually charter private and public buses. Some schools may own a bus or 2 but that's more for off school activities (swimming lessons etc). No such thing as a "dedicated school bus" like in the USA.

i, have been driving is the school buses for the 29 year i start when the plane came from europe from home country to the us and personally is i love is the saf-t-liner c2 i drive is the 2007 that does not have the blind thing or whatever is ccalled and my pedals are not attatched to the floor but when i did drive ce i just found is the un comfort able

You wish! Blue Bird is the best bro! Back when I lived in PG County, MD most of the buses that took me to school were Blue Birds. Those things were beasts.
Ive ridden both, the new IC are better in every aspect over the Thomas busses and almost everything is better than the previous ic busses. My only complaints about the new IC is the seat backs go up way higher so you don't have a good view of the road as a passenger from the 1st row, and the suspension is significantly harder, probably just cause its new tho.
I agree as a 10th grade student that the ic ce's are better but my school district uses mostly Thomas C2's and the problems the seats are uncomfortable and are to close together as my knees are always smashed up against the seat because I'm a tall guy at 6'0 and the district rarely replaces their buses as the drive like older model c2's from like 2005 or 2006.
The one thing I miss from the old busses are the bottoms on the left side. For me it was easy to memorize where they were all at because it sort of reminds me of playing the piano. But with the Içores I am chasing the buttons on the steering wheel but at least their are lights and easy programmable clock whereas the Blue Birds are operating in third if the lights, useless clock, buttons are all over the place like Içores. But the old busses have a dog house unit holding the motor which you have to manuver over to get in your seat. Ugh

Flat noses are called Transit / Type D buses, only difference is that the flat noses typically hold more.

I'm not crazy about with of the two, I'd prefer Bluebird Vision though my all time favorite bus is a Bluebird All American
I've got a few newer blue birds on the fleet and the rest ics. Definitely like the birds

5 years in a C2 so far. Lots of created blind spots and weirdness for sure. I really wish we kept using ICs, or even BlueBirds.
