Depending on the style of the bus, some school buses have the engine in the back of the bus, so the front flat with nothing in front below the windshield
There called Rear engine busses and one of the most popular rear engine busses are Thomas HDX
I don’t Know What people Are Going on about assuming “flat Front = rear Engine”

Already knew what these were for but I assumed there were more awesome facts in the video.
The issue of seat belts does vary from state to state. In the event they have to evacuate the bus in an emergency such as a fire or crash, it would took longer to get off because they would unbuckle there seat belt.

I’m 31 and if there was ever a real life red school bus… it must have been a tiny microscopic one. 🤣🤣 Because in real life, I have NEVER seen one.
School bus drivers do not activate the warning lights when approaching train tracks, the stop sign would come out when they opened the door if they did so (you definitely don't want to stop cars while they're crossing the tracks), instead they activate the hazard lights.

Why do some school busses have noses, while others don’t? Also, where’s the engine if a bus doesn’t have a nose? I’ve always wanted to know that.

Flat nose buses offer a Rear Engine set up, where the engine is in the rear or a forward engine where the engine is pushed inside the bus and sits right beside the driver. These buses are also known as forward controls, as the driver is seated in front of the steer axle.

The black lines could be used for that. But The reason is so if the bus rolls over the people that need to cut open the bus knows where the botton of the bus is, where the sholders are, and where the chest is.

For those of you that don’t want to watch the video, the correct answer is mainly so that you are farther away from the bus when crossing and so the driver can see you

Does that mean passenger buses (ex. double decker) are safer than school ones? According to Google, passenger buses are 50x safer than cars, compared to school buses' 40x.

The seat belts in Florida are not required and are only present on new models. Some busses only have seat belts on half of the seats, too.
Also what I mean by not required is that the children don't have to use them. They are required on busses when they get manufactured.

Actually, here in Pennsylvania when a Bus is Making an Intersection stop at a 4-Way they can put out in the intersection a little bit because drivers are not aware that they have to stop at intersections too so it's the only way to get the attention of the drivers. That is one advantage of a Crossing Arm.
