It’s so interesting how a person’s foot shape plays such a big role in preferences. I love the Vapor 13/Superfly 7 so I decided to try these as well. Hated them! Both cramped and sloppy in the midfoot and a closterphobic toebox. Upper is a bit thinner but not at all better to me. Feels liked Nike went backwards to me honestly.
Absolutely mate! Generation to generation changes for me as well - which is so strange considering how good certain boots are/were. The Vapor 13 was an INSANE boot. One of the best vapors of all time in my opinion... No wonder why lots of pros still where them!

I was curious as to why pro players in the US play with studs in turf for training and games. It didn't make sense that their club would allow them to play with them if it tremendously increased injury rate. So I decided to do some research and look at the scientific literature. The conclusion was that there's little to no difference between FG on turf vs grass. There's also a video from ''Become Elite'' where he explains why they all use FG. Essentially AG is brands trying to create a niche to increase profits.
That's so interesting! I'll have to look into it myself as well. I'm curious what people are saying about it! 🤙🏼
